Perfect place for dinner in downtown Ann Arbor! The place is ideally located in the heart of downtown where you have the option to sit both indoor as well as outdoor. They have really good deep dish Detroit style pizzas on the menu and a fine collection of beers! The food and service both are very good! Strongly recommended! They removed the Cauliflower starters from their menu which was a little letdown.

This was my first time dining in! It was a pleasant experience. I ordered the pretzel as an appetizer (9/10), the steak sandwhich (10/10), the Orange Whip draft (7/10), and the ice cream sandwhich (10/10). Definitely worth trying!! The women's bathroom has lyrics to popular songs to sing to when washing your hands.

The food and the drinks here are great. The patio outside is the perfect spot to hang out and enjoy an evening.

Great place to hang out after a Michigan football game. Excellent Detroit Style Pizza, and of course, plenty of beer and adult beverage choices to choose from. Lots of TVs to catch up on the other sporting events.

Solid bar food (sandwiches, pizza, and pretzels) in a Michigan memorabilia adorned restaurant. Laid back sports bar vibe and a local history to the restaurant. I never visited before it relaunched, but the space is cozy and a bit reminiscent of a place like the “Corner Room” in State College.

The Pretzel Bar offers a really cool old time swanky feel. They have tables, secluded booths, and high tops. The food is pretty good. Portions run on the smaller side, but we just got a few appetizers to share. Their drink menu has a lot to offer and they have a full bar so you can still order your favorites

We had good time at this place. Happy hour was awesome. Some of the drinks and starter's price were half during happy hour. We had to have pretzel at this place and it was good. Our server Olivia was wonderful. There are outside seating options as well which we loved it.

We were denied service at The Ravens Club because I had a service dog in training with me. We decided to come to The Pretzel Bell and we were greeted with kindness and they even offered my puppy a bowl of water. We had great service and their kindness went a long way!

I usually go here when I take a day trip to Ann Arbor because they have outdoor seating on a corner and there’s always a spot open. It is downtown Ann Arbor so street parking can be hard to find during peak hours. Cocktails are good and food is comfort food with some healthy options. I had the warm feta bread to start. It’s sort of a large calzone that comes with a side of marinara. Very good but it was so large I had to take some home. Happy hour specials include half off starters and cocktails. Definitely try this place if you haven’t already!

The hamburger is one of the best around. It was made to perfection with bacon, sauce and an egg. I added the sweet potato fries which were amazing. However the staff needs to get it together. Our waiter took a long time before even greeting us. Actually he took way longer to get around to doing anything. We had to ask for ketchup for our fries after to walked away. The menu is limited, I would like to see more options.

Did the pull up for dinner at the pretzel bell tonight. I hadn't eaten there since befoe the pandemic so I was curious to see if the food was going to be good enough to put in the rotation. So we started with the fresh baked pretzel and it was delicious. The honey mustard went well with the golden brown crunchy and salty outside and the soft fluffy inside of the pretzel. However the cheese sauce that came with it was not good!! It was watery and just had a artificial cheese taste to it. Anyway, the pretzel was definitely the star of the meal tonight. For dinner I had the epic cornbeef and my wife had the fajita steak salad. Both dishes were just Mid to ok. Nothing special. I usually don't complain about prices but if I'm gonna pay $20 for a corn beef sandwich that's called "EPIC CORNBEEF " then I'm expecting a zingermans deli size ruben. Instead I got the downtown annarbor resturant size cornbeef sandwich Lol!. But to close this out I would say " if you want to go to a place with nice beer selection and good pub vive then you will like the pretzel bell.

Our server recommended amazing options. Cajun chicken pasta was amazing, the honey mustard pretzel croutons on the Cesar salad were a great touch, on the Totchose the tots were nice and crispy and the flavors popped! I tried the fruit punch which also was very good. Had went during happy hour so my drink was 50% off and I noticed they had theme nights on most days.

I went here with 2 friends on a Tuesday night at 8:30pm. There were only a few people in the restaurant so we were seated quickly and we could choose where to sit. We sat at a table by the window. The server was friendly and took our orders quickly. He was very friendly throughout. I got the Cajun pasta; the portion was good and the spice level was good. The experience was good, but the server did not know that Bells Two Hearted was an IPA, which resulted in my friend (who doesn't like IPA's) ordering it. All-in-all, it was a good experience, it's a good option for weeknight dinners.

Definitely a fun atmosphere and nice menu options, but not the best experience dining in with a group of friends. Food was good, but we had the wrong thing brought out a more than once and two dishes had to be remade which caused our stay to be pretty lengthy. However, staff was nice and they treated us to complimentary dessert because of the mishaps. Personally I had a pizza and the Berry Mule drink, both were pretty standard, nothing to complain about. Also tried the buffalo chicken dip, which in my opinion could benefit from some better options to dip with and could have been creamier.

Food is good not great. Service was brutal but I understand they were busy. We sat outside and had amazing weather - fun to see the buzz on a Friday night in A2.

Very helpful and accommodating wait staff, we had a large party with small kids and they were friendly and attentive. They had no problem splitting up the bill and the food was good. The decor is pretty cool with a repurposed gym floor curving up the wall.

Food was wonderful, host was great…. Not to sure what happened kind of hard to make assumptions and I love the fact that the manager was doing their job by following the law however I had to stop in Ann Arbor on my way back from Ohio, our car was acting really funny. Me and my husband stopped in here 4/24/22 to grab dinner and a drink. My birthday was 4 days prior I turned 29 years old…I had just paid for a new ID less than a year prior due to my last name change (issued: 5/4/21 expired: 4/20/22 not sure why I needed a new ID to begin with thanks State of Michigan). I left my charger in Ohio my phone was dead and my paper “proof” was not valid at the time do to my phone being dead and I do not have a printer. Waitress declines service of a alcoholic drink then advised me she was going to ask her manager, waitress comes back and states manager has declined me services of any alcoholic beverage. I am aware I “look” like I am 12 years old however the manager did not even come over to talk to me to look at my seven other proofs of identity…I am almost 30 years old, I own my own house, I pay my taxes, I have a six year old, I am married and two vehicles, no criminal record and believe the manager could of had at least came over and looked and acknowledged my “proof” (momma needed a birthday drink) keep in mind I am always the designated driver as well for any type of event and really just wanted to have fun. This managers actions would qualify as age discrimination 100 million times Thank you!!! for not showing this stressed out mother a good time, not only on my birthday weekend, but my husbands birthday weekend as well. Kindness and common decency goes along way ❤️

Consistent. Reliable. Good. It's a nice, lively but not raucous atmosphere. The food is consistently good, although not off-the-charts good. It's good quality American food, which is harder to find than you'd think it would be. The service is always fast and they get food to the tables fast. That's always nice. The food is rich but not excessively heavy. Portions are also good but not enormous. I feel the portions are just right. The food is always good, served hot, balanced, and made with care. I wouldn't say there are any particular standout items, but that's okay because I also don't think I've ever had anything here that wasn't good. If you're looking for a place where everyone can find something they like, this is a very good choice. I always leave happy and that's an accomplishment because I'm pretty critical when it comes to food, on top of which I tend to favor things like Chinese, Indian, Korean, and Italian styles of cooking.
