City Dock is the heart of Annapolis! And one curiosity that I want to share here is the fact that Capital city was known as the "Athens of America, so if you want to know how to fell being in a historic small city surrounding by the water and the Naval Academy, the Midshipmen walking through the streets, also a variety of restaurants, boutiques, sailboats, stores, bars … Or talking about my experience because i went there in the begging of December, yes it was cold, so i decided to buy a cappuccino at Bitty & Beau's Coffee, located exactly in the dock, so I was able to have a nice time walking with my warm cappuccino in my hands and appreciate the view of this beautiful Old and historical City in USA!

We really enjoyed our time in the dock area. Beautiful harbor views, clean, with lots to do. Catch a water taxi. Go on a sightseeing cruise around harbor or grab a meal at the many waterfront restaurants. Lots of benches to sit and take it all in. Live local musician was playing when we were there. Easy parking and clean restrooms.

A nice relaxing, friendly place. Lots of people, respectful and orderly. On a Sunday afternoon with the boat owners showing off their boats...of every size...reminded me of years ago teenagers cruising. Therapeutic!!

We were there to ride the Jolly Express for the Christmas Season. We enjoyed our boat ride and hot cocoa.

Gorgeous place, and boats galore! Lovely city to walk through, the food smelled wonderful but we didn't stop, and I heard they are going to do some upgrades soon so looking forward to seeing those completed. The parking is paid space, so be Sure to take care of that and avoid a ticket.

This was our first experience visiting the City Dock and Annapolis City Marina as we were here as a part of our son's journey into the Naval Academy. The atmosphere around the dock was calming and full of friendly and inviting people. After visiting the dock area, my family and I took a water taxi(so much fun) across to the Annapolis City Marina. We walked around and stopped and had delicious vegan pizza at Trop Q Pizza. This restaurant has a vegan and non-vegan menu. When you walk in, it's very clean and presentable. You can order your food via kiosk, which is convenient. The pizza had a thin crust and the cheese was not of a gooey consistency. We also had a vegan smoothie that we were not too fond of because it lacked flavor and thickness. Chef Ty if you are reading this, please add more fruit so the smoothie can be a winner. See you next time. We also went to Annapolis Ice Cream Company where they have three vegan ice creams available. They were thick, creamy and delicious. We will definitely be back 😄 I have posted pictures of the doc, pizza 🍕 and ice cream 🍦

Beautiful architecture & brown stone galor! On a nice day I love walking through & enjoying the sights! The restaurants/bars are cool but very small spaces for such large crowds if your going out on a weekend evening. The view is worth just walking around!

If you ever visit here for the fire works, I would come a few hours early, so that you can find close parking. The fire works lasted exactly "5" minutes. Very short, but simple. The town is cute. There a lot of shops and food. There are bathrooms in this parking lot. Really cute little thing to do on New Years Eve!

I hadn't been to the Annapolis city dock in several years. When I used to live in the area, it always seemed as though the city was looking to improve the area. I think they have a good plan in place at the moment, and I hope it sticks for a while. The Christmas lights, the tree and the hustle and bustle of the holidays made this trip a happy one! If you like a cozy colonial feel, you certainly get it in Annapolis. In fact, we recently went to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, and found that we enjoyed annapolis much more!

Beautiful, lively spot to visit. "Ego Alley" as it's known locally, is a must see area on the waterfront where boat owners parade this narrow stretch of water showing off their boats. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose too.

Last Saturday we were in a parade by the Annapolis City Docks. It was mostly good weather and the parade was really nice. There were many people out to celebrate Juneteenth and many cars. There were many people out to see the parade and a radio station also. There were many different participants in the parade. Spider bikes and motorcycles. Drummers and cheerleaders were there. Bands and Police and Luminus Health also were in participation. It was a long walk with many people. Really nice boats on the Dock and plenty of Restaurants and shops in the area. The parade ended at the city hall and many vendors were everywhere. It was a very good day..

We went for the 2022 spring sail boat show and had a great time. The city dock area is a great place for shopping, eating, and sight seeing.

Cute, small town feel! Love the marina and walking the streets checking out the lil stores. Ate at the Market place on the corner. It was pet friendly and the waitress brought our dog water.

What a beautiful quaint historical downtown! The dock was nice and the shops were nicer. There were a variety of places to eat, or just grab a snack.

Overall great experience. Went for the boat show and brunch. Love the area, it's very scenic, very full of character depending on where you look. Parking can be difficult but if you end up taking a little walk it can't hurt, you'll probably see something that interests you. Take pictures, I was so caught up in the moment I only took a few. Some portapotties are scattered around, best bet is to use the facilities at the restaurants, but it can be a little dicey depending on where you go.

Had a great time visiting the Annapolis City Dock and many of the shops just up the street. All the shopkeepers were pleasant and helpful. Annapolis really seems to love their canine visitors! We were very impressed with the welcome given to dogs in the stores and restaurants. The area was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We look forward to visiting again!

This place is absolutely magical! Having the waterbody at one side, there's ample restaurants at the other. Walking around the alleys provide a feeling of moving in vintage European cities! Saturday mornings are the busiest, and vibes are the best at that time! There are local icecream and coffee shops around the corner, and a lot of collectibles/ souvenier shops for someone who likes buying things at places they tour in. Parking might be difficult (not too much), but available. Might have to take circles for 5 minutes before finding a spot (only on weekends).

Overall it's a great place to tour. Nice restaurants and small shops, and of course, the waterside scene. Parking is usually not easy during weekends when weather is good. Also be careful when paying for parking, especially when you're tall. For example, please see the attached picture with 2 parking zones at the same spot. If you happen to pay "zone 1225 City of ANNAPOLIS" as in the picture, congrats, a $50 non-pay citation may wait for you. I guess the zone below is the correct zone? I didn't notice zone details after payment was successful using the app. Please don't make the same mistake and only have fun there.

It was an amazing experience. The atmosphere and weather was beautiful ⛅🌞. From boats 🛥️⛵🚣🏾‍♂️, to the shows, to the many vendors and food trucks♨️🌭🍖🍔🍕. I sat by the water and watched as the boats sailed up and turned around at the beginning of the festival to head back out. They had rooftop restaurants that were right there to witness all the activities. There was an ice cream shop across the street that everyone was patronizing so I myself went and got an orange cream flavored ice cream on a sugar cone🍨. One of the vendors offered massages for $1 a minute I took advantage of that as well. The shows the first stage had the crowd dancing and very interactive. I headed back throughout the festival to the main stage where there was an African dance group that danced to the drummers they all were great performers. You can bring your lawn chairs out as well. The food was delicious 🤤. I told my family and friends about the time I had so we'll all be returning next year.

Love it here. Plenty to walk around and see/do, eat and drink. Diverse crowd. Lots of parking despite crowds at times. Definitely a good spot to walk around for any amount of time.

Beautiful scenery, and lots of places to walk around and shop. If you love history, check out the Naval Academy and State House.

Beautiful place if weather permits. A boat cruise is pleasant and comfortable. A wide choice of places to eat. It is better to visit not in the weekend.
