Uneven and rutted trail takes you to a wacky bridge that belongs in a fun house. Great view of a water access that takes you to the Severn. The community pool is nearby and trails around the surrounding neighborhood although I just parked near the community center and walked the trail through the woods to the water. Got a little lost doing some exploring and returned via the sidewalk which was fine and made it more interesting. Worth the trip just to see the fun house bridge over the inlet.

The remodeled pools are great. Large lap pool, splash pad, kiddie pool with slides. Fun and relaxing. Also lots of really popular pickle ball and tennis courts! I really enjoy this park.

Best deal in town to exercise. Staff couldn't be any more friendly.

I liked the quality tennis courts, and it was my first time to see the pickelball in action, could be a great place for its fan, with its numerous courts, yet I still believe it’s far from the enjoyment of the prestigious traditional tennis πŸŽΎπŸ’š.

Overall a decent place however the one star refers to in the pool area they should not force people to remove if they prefer to wear a shirt over their swimwear. I noticed a few people who wanted to wear a top and were told they could not swim or wade if it was not removed. Everyone is not a size 2 or whatever and feel more comfortable covered up a bit. Management needs to be more mindful of visitors personal feelings.

A great trail and park. The trail section goes thru a well-shaded woodsy trail that is both close to the water, as well as in the middle of the woods. Some sections have a few short and steep inclines as well as roots protruding from the ground. But suitable for beginners.

It's a nice place to visit. I took my daughters there for the first time two days ago. They had a great time. The place isn't pricey, staff was helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. It's a nice place yo visit for all ages. It's free if you live in Annapolis.

It was nice, but my 9 year old wasn't able to slide down a slide into 4ft water without passing a swim test of swimming into 5ft down into 10ft water and back. Also their snack area was mad expensive for some mediocre items you can just pack in your swim bag. I paid $5 bucks for a snowball with a small amount of flavoring and it was in a medium cup, but they claim was their large size lol, as well $2 for a tiny freeze pop. There is a wait time to get in after they've opened and are full which I would have liked to know prior to going, and you'll have to wait until others decide to leave so be mindful to get there early for parking and entrance or you'll be in line for hours waiting. Also, WATCH YOUR STUFF! There was a family there of another nationality that was scoping out our seating areas with our items, not sure what they thought they would get lol, but once we stood near our stuff they moved and then eventually left. So just be mindful of your belongings.

I went to truxtun Park with my buddy and my kid. We went to the pool/kids water park it was a blast. The lifeguards are on point and don't let things slide which I love. Those rules are there for a reason. Give the whole lifeguard team a pat on the back! The snack stand wasn't accepting card they day I went I'm not sure if that's usual but just a heads up to grab cash before going.

Pretty awesome playground with a very different setup than I've normally seen. I don't remember seeing bathrooms in the area though.

I believe my father started with the idea of opening this area as a park back in the 50’s. Earl F Lawson- Recreation Director. I’m taking time to visit this Spring

Small, but current and well built. Our 18mo and 6yo were all done within the hour. Plenty of parking. No seating for the grups though, so plan on being active with your chillins.

Unfortunately the city has done no maintenance of the trails. Every trail has at least one tree down blocking the trail. Very sad to see. The city spent a lot of money to build the trails and steps, and have completely let them go through lack of maintenance.

Took dogs for a walk. Went through wooded are starting near boat ramp. Trail was shaded but narrow in spots. Also tree roots with a few steep parts near the water. Had a good walk. Boat ramp and parking were very crowded.

Very nice and new facility. Playground park across the pool great for hi energy children. Quick walking path allows for activities for everyone in the family.

The location and facilities are very good and parking does not seem to be an issue. The only issue was getting to our site within the park. The road the car navigation system said was the correct way led to a dead-end. If you are going to the park for the athletic fields than you do not know the issue. The rest of us do. No through road and no notice pointing the way around.

A big park with lots of amenities (tennis, pavilions, etc.) We went for the hiking, which was mediocre. The trails are not well marked, and are confusing, although it is wooded and you can hike along the inlets.
