We ordered a pepperoni Stromboli, and it barely had any cheese in it, and had no pepperoni in the second half. We got the two layered pizza and it was so thin with very few toppings, but we did enjoy the crust, we had no choice at all we really got. It does taste good, sauce is great!

Not bad overall. The sausage is terrible. $40+ for a large cheese, a large two topping and a 2 liter seems like a lot for what you end up getting. Extremely salty but good flavor and sauce.

I had incorrectly placed a pick up order for pizza 🤦‍♀️. Woman behind the counter offered to remake. It would take 10-15 minutes. It was my mistake so I said no, I would pay for the pizza that was made. Well, when I got in my car, very hungry, and the pizza smelled sooo good, I started eating a slice. It was absolutely delicious! I went back in, asked her to make the one I should've ordered!!! They did. And when I went on to pick it up...12 minutes later, she GAVE me the pizza!! This was my FIRST TIME TRYING ROMA!! You know I'll be goin back

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a terrific evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for the strong meeting. The waiters participated in a sweet way, the cooking was great and my friends were so happy. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

We got such a friendly welcome the moment we walked in the door! Stopped there because of a recommendation from another establishment in SE CT. We were not disappointed. The pizza was delicious! Crispy crust, tangy sauce, savory toppings. All around great experience.

Excellent Pizza! Definitely rivals any other famous CT pizza joints. I always love making a pit stop here when I travel up and down Route 8.

Wow. Just wow. I strolled in here on a Sunday night mainly intrigued by the wood fire oven. The pizza did not disappoint. We had a Sicilian pizza and added tomato and cheese. Every. single. bite. was. delightful. The service was friendly, the place is cozy and clean and the pizza is exceptional. Treat your taste buds to a real ethereal experience and go to Roma’s.

Very disappointed. This was my go to place for a good pie for quite some time now. I ordered a large half cheese half bbq chicken. The chicken was not only dry it had an awful taste to it. Everything was just off about this pizza and for almost 25 dollars it just was very upsetting.

The pizza was great. The service excellent. I do have to say the "bruschetta" was not the best. It was basically a bland mix of tomato/cheese on a thick bread.

This is my hometown pizza joint. Love the pizza here. New Haven style pizza without having to go to New Haven. Specialty pizzas are great my favorite is the clam pie.

We get a pizza when too hot or too tired to cook our own. It is hit or miss with the rating. Sometimes it is amazing…crunchy crust… other times soggy… but we can doctor it up and create our own version with out pizza stone and extra toppings. Has become rather expensive…$18for a small with 2 toppings

We had Roma’s for the first time today after hearing great things and the food was excellent. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The woman at the counter/front was NOT friendly at all. She didn’t greet us as we came and it made it seem as though she was annoyed we were there. She looked down her nose at me the whole time and when I tried to make a joke to lighten the atmosphere she just looked at me, didn’t laugh, and processed my card. She did give a very bland thank you at the end but even my kids asked me why was acting that way toward us : (. The woman who packed up the food for us was very friendly and helpful. It was not busy at all so there was not excuse as to why the first lady couldn’t give better customer service. I like the food so hopefully next time I go back I will be treated with kindness.

Located within walking distance to Griffen Hospital, Romas is a favorite of those in the area. The main focal point upon entering is the true wood fired oven used for cooking the pizzas. Each pie is hand thrown and toppings are added to the customer's request. Along with the standard toppings offered, there are many special pizzas to choose from, my favorite being tbe Buffalo Chicken. Takeout and eat in dining are offered with 3 booths available. If you are planning to order on a Friday night, an early as the wait times can be long. During your visit make sure to try the house bread which is made on premises.

Fantastic thin crust pizza from a wood fired oven. Slices are cheese and sausage, both very good. Ask about the stuffed pizza!

It’s tough writing this review because this has been my go to place for over a decade. Recently they have fallen off. Toppings are skimped on and barely cover half the pizza lately. The consistency is off. A couple weeks ago I was given a under cooked pizza, tonight I was given one that was burnt and cold. Hopefully they can get their act together again.

We have been searching for a good margherita pizza that was local to us. We love New Haven pizza, but it’s not always convenient. This is hands down the best we’ve had in the valley. Nice thin crust, with just the right amount of char. The tomatoes were fresh, and I was living for the chopped garlic. Delicious!

So happy this place is walking distance from my home because their pizza is great! For those who love thin crust, this place makes them. Good service and friendly staff. I really like them. Good business!

We haven't eaten there in years, since the opening of Pizzaros in Seymour. Wanted to try something different and they didn't disappoint. We had their incredibly delicious, meatball and chicken parmesan grinders. Their sauce was delicious, as was their meatballs and chicken. It was exactly how it was several years back. The subs were a perfect size for 5 adults. My parents always got Pizza from there and I'm sure that is just as delicious too.

To be honest we were not expecting much when we stopped here because of where we are from, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. The variety of pizza toppings was terrific and the meatball parm was delectable. The next time we're in town we will definitely be stopping by.

I review every place I've visited. This pizzeria by far is one of cleanest places I've seen. From the inviting exterior, to the interior. It's absolutely spotless. Brick oven pizza and a family oriented staff, it didn't get any better. Keep up the great work guys!

I am active duty in the Air Force, but grew up in Connecticut. Every time I come home to Ansonia on leave, this is one of the first stops I make. Hands down some of the best pizza you will ever taste, straight from their wood-fired brick oven. At least six stars but I am only allowed to give five, so...

For years I have loved Roma's brick oven pizza. The crust is nicely charred and thin the way i like it, crispy but with a bit of chewiness. Not greasy. That being said I only order certain toppings because others are jarred or canned which is disgusting. Like garlic. They use jarred. It tastes terrible as everyone knows. But the bacon and sausage are good. I left three stars only for two reasons. I ordered a chicken cutlet grinder and the chicken was not only old but little thin slices being reused from pizza or salad toppings. So gross. And so old and hard I could barely chew it. And lastly it is a global pandemic and I saw not only none of the customers wearing masks but the workers had them on their chins and no gloves. I asked the manager why he didn't require masks and he just shrugged. Not acceptable. No mask no service. And this was just for takeout! I was the only person in line who had one on.

I’ve been trying to find a decent calzone in the area. I was so excited when I tried this one but it was so disappointing. You can get a small or large which seemed great to have food for next day. I ordered a large one and find out it was more bread that anything, only have cheese in some parts and I barely had ricotta, I also asked for pepperoni but it wasn’t even well cooked and was super oily that even the bread ended up all wet. Never going again here.
