Great and spacious place perfect for work or study time. There are multiple tables with plugs to charge your phone or laptop. Coffee is great and they have cakes. And also the first place in Antwerpen I been with open wifi and fast Internet. Close to the centre, highly recommend it.

This place opened a few years ago, but Cuperus coffee exists many years already. They have their own coffee roasting business and I love their blends. So when I'm in the neighborhood of cuperus horsey, I try to grab a cup of Joe.

This is a very cozy coffee shop. The coffee is always on point, it's an inhouse roast. I use it as a place to study. The space is really open and has plenty of greenery. You can plug in your electronic devices almost anywhere (plugs dangle from the ceiling between plants) and keep yourself motivated with a cappuccino and some cake. They have a couple of light lunch options as well. Edit: a couple years later and this place is still a gem. Just spent a couple hours reading a book there.

I've been coming here for years and the coffee is always excellent. I also highly recommend the baked goods, the frangipane especially, it's one of my favourites. Edit: Google asked me to update my review. I stand by what I said. Try the frangipane.

A very nice cafe for those who like big cafes. I personally like more cozy and small cafes. Cuperus is very big and has a modern architecture, which makes it more elegant and formal. As you can see in the photo, the dessert portions are very small. However, when you run out of tea, you can refill hot water 1 more time, which is a very sweet service. Many students prefer it for studying but I think the environment is a bit distracting, the seating is scattered in various areas and the cash register is right in the middle. So there is a constant flow of customers or service.

Best coffee place in all Antwerp (in my opinion). Amazing coffees and amazing cakes every day! I’m particularly fond of their red velvet, carrot cake and vegan raspberry cake. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the place is just so relaxing. I recommend everyone to come here, grab a cup of coffee and chill on the couch like in “Friends”. If it were possible to give more stars, I would!!! Love you guys!

Nice place to go to, especially if you’re looking for a space to work or study. There are tables reserved for people without laptops. The coffee and chai latte were very enjoyable, the matcha latte, however, was not. (Plant based milks available as well as vegan desserts- which I didn’t try this time)

I wanted a good coffe and that place has good rates. The coffee was so bad I couldn’t even finish it. I ordered flat white with oatmilk. Extremly grassy and sour so I guess beans are under roasted. I was hoping to have a cheese cake but unfortunately it wasn’t there that day.

A great coffee place also for working and they have amazing homemade cakes - especially the speculatius cheesecake I can recommend.

Very nice place. The barista was amazing he helped us a lot because we had a baby. But it's not for babies because it didn't have a changing mat. Amazing coffee

Good coffee and tea, chill vibe for meeting friends or studying/working. I like how tables are separated, some are marked as no-laptop zone. The WiFi here is better compared to other Cuperus locations. I also enjoy they have free tea refills. Bummer they don't have more food options.

Coffees are really nice. Cookies and cakes are extremely expensive and for me as an student there is no way that I can pay for them. I used to go there a lot at the weekend to study. Because my school is closed and I cannot concentrate at home. Once I went there and I didn’t order anything because I didn’t want to pay 4 euros for a latte, and while I was going out they asked me to buy something next times. For me it was shocking since there were many cafe in my city in the Netherlands which you could study and order nothing like Douwe Egberts. So I didn’t go there anymore. Considering how everybody are studying at that cafe and how busy the cafe is, I was expecting them to be fine with it and I don’t think I will ever go there again.

Nice place to hang out. A bit crowded during the evening and looks like the hotspot for university students.

This cafe is very spacious, it always turns out to work well. You can sit there for more than 4 hours and not get tired + there is an excellent choice of food and drinks, there are vegan options The whole staff is very friendly. They do their job with love. It is located on a quiet street and they have large tables with sockets directly above the tables! it is so smart and so convenient! Great place for hard work

Past pandemic high times this place shifted away from sandwiches to cakes. Their flat white still is the best in to to the best of my knowledge.

Great coffee, nice place to stay a few hours. Internet is often not working though, otherwise ideal!

What a beautiful coffee shop! And also a friendly service. Many different cakes and types of coffee and latteé. The location in the Paardemarkt is also close to various universities, so it is ideal for a break as a student. Really great!

Antwerp's Cuperus Horsey - Koffiebar at Paardenmarkt 28. They are all about excellent coffee, though you may have to pay a little more—around 5 euros for their renowned dirty chai. But I promise, it's well worth the money! Not only is the taste superb, but the latte art is a delightful surprise. It can get rather crowded, especially with students, so it could be a little difficult to locate a seat during popular times. But don't worry, if you're in a rush, they've got quick takeout choices for you. Cuperus Horsey's welcoming atmosphere and team are what truly set it apart. It resembles a little community center where you may relax and converse while sipping coffee. Overall, it's totally worth checking out if you're into quality coffee and a laid-back vibe. Despite a few seating challenges and slightly higher prices, it's a gem in Antwerp's coffee scene.

When it comes to cafés to study, Cuperus has a special place in my heart for many reasons. The café has a very nice atmosphere to study. No loud music is played and there are usually free tables with enough outlets. Usually, there are also many people around who are just studying, and not that many are having loud conversations. All items on the menu are delicious. I really enjoy their cappuccino, but also all of their cakes and snacks are freshly-made and very tasty. There are also savory options for lunch. However, when it comes to the prices, it is not the cheapest, compared with other cafés in the surroundings. A café latte costs 4.30, and it comes in a big mug, but it is still too expensive. Tea is the same price but even more disappointing since it is even smaller. So I can say that I clearly like going to this café, and I would go definitely more often if it weren't this pricey.
