Ah beautiful Stadsfeestzaal, definitely one of the pearls of Antwerp! Builded in 1908, almost completely destroyed by a fire in 2000 and reconstructed after that. In the Stadsfeestzaal you can find lots of stores, but since this building has so much history, it should have another concept other than just shopping. It has a nice potential to be an extremely beautiful concert hall for example or for other events.. Maybe one day!

Located in the middle of the meir, wich is the most famous and fashionable shopping street in antwerp, the stadsfeestzaal is a great unique place to complete the set of stores. The place is very beautiful, i would recommend you have a look inside even if you’re not interested in the shops inside. There was some maintenance work during my visit. The building had an 'upgrade'; it recieved a more lavish interior with yellow golden paint and lots of ornament. It was not something the original building had. Now there are various specialty shops and various bistros for drinks and sandwiches.

Its too crowded. No perfect time to sit and enjoy coffee and cookies in piece. Walk in is always nice because architecture of this spot is amazing. You can buy food there and clothes

Lovely place just 500 meters from the Central station of Antwerp. Lovely architecture and many luxury brands. Didn’t find much on offer but had a lot of new arrivals. The street also has other brands and a good choice for quick bites. However I would suggest to try eateries near the station if you fancy a meal of your choice.
