De Lindekens is a long time favorite of us, the location is very nice whenever you can sit outside, the interior is also very nice. The food is always exquisitely prepared and...... the service is outstanding. If you ask me, the impeccable and non-intrusive service offered is for me the main reason why I want to keep going there.

The food is okay, the service is NOT decent at all. When collecting the plate after dinner, the waiter put it over my head, and the fork with lot of oil fell off and hit my back; I did feel something, but the waiter did not say sorry or even a word about it, so i thought I was mistaken. I only found this when getting back home… This is not decent at all, at least he should say sorry for what he did instead of sneaking away pretending nothing happened… if I can i would put 0-star here

A nice place for having lunch or dinner, lots of locals, plenty of regional dishes and beers. Impecabble serivce, a pleasure to be there....

There is a lot of good choices here. Mostly classics and some seasonal menu options. Preparation is really good, best steak I had in a long time.

Quality ingredients, tasty food and decent portions, service was a bit slow (therefore not 5 stars), but I guess not to the extent of being unacceptable, I think typical during a busy Saturday evening dinner.

Located slightly out of the way, past the town center of Wilrijk, de Lindekes is a good place to get a fresh steak tartare and/or some other authentic Belgian food. Even though it's quite far from any water, the moules-frites are still very good as well. Service can be a bit hectic, but staff is always willing to apologize for any wait and try to correct it in the remainder of your visit. The terrace is nice and naturally shaded (some trees) with most of your fellow diners being university staff from the nearby University of Antwerp, business men coming from conferences or "Wilrijkenaars" (townsfolk) who have the pleasure of enjoying De Lindekes whenever they want.

This bistrot serves good traditional Belgian fare in a cosy setting with a patio. However, the last two times I ate lunch there, the music was obnoxious. The loud hard rock was not in line with the style of the establishment and made conversation difficult. I asked the server to turn down the music and he did. So when you go there, do not hesitate to ask them to adjust the music if necessary.
