Fonseka is an amazing and attentive host. He had great recommendations for Anuradhapura and took me round to some of the best and lesser known places. The house is very peaceful and comfortable and the food was great too. Highly recommend!

It was wonderfull stay from rooms to Food and the host. I would say the host Mr. & Mrs. Fonseka they were best they guided us for the entire thing which will be the best places and everything as me and my partner we made a spontaneous plan to visit sri lanka and Mr. Fonseka guided us very well so I would definitely recommend you stay here. You will love the experience the place is so clean and greenery all around.

Wow such an accommodating stay, so kind, friendly, humble and the best hosts we've had in sri lanka yet, they really make you feel apart of there family and would literally do anything for you. we were only going to stay in anuradhapura for one night until we realised how nice it is here, The food is all home cooked by lakmali and her mother and daughter, its amazing and the price is really fair. They also have bikes for rental if you want to get into town without a walk or tuk. We got picked up at no cost from the bus stop when we first arrived by rohwan the owner, and he also has a taxi if you need a quick ride into town. The day we went to visit the temples rohwan and Lakmali's daughter kindly wrote all the temples in order for us to visit and her English writing is neater than mine 😀. We will definitely come back again, infact we haven't even left yet, one night is about to turn into three and maybe more, thank you lovely family ❤️

Great place to stay when visiting Anuradnapura. Far away from noisy city but just a few minutes bike ride to the beautiful old one. Rooms are nice and tidy with private barhroom and fan.. really all you need. Hosting family is just perfect. They make sure you are enjoying every moment of your stay. Beyond expectation. Highly recommended!

The homestay is run by a really nice and helpful family. The food is amazing and the neighborhood is just Beautyful. You can rent a bicycle at the place and go to thw temples, its about 10min till you meet the first one. The owner helped me with my broken phone, driving off to his friend to repair it for almost nothing. I am incredibly thankfull!!!

I had an awesome stay here! The room was lovely and the location is very peaceful and quiet. The owner Fonseka is very helpful with tuktuk rides and tours, and his family cook delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Very, very highly recommended!

One of the best places we’ve stayed on our travels! Our hosts were so hospitable, friendly and kind to us. We had the best home cooked meals and were given great info on Sri Lankan food. Bikes were available to ride around the town. We got our laundry done and had plenty of coffees, juices and beers too. The host was very accommodating when it came to advice on tours in the local area. He dropped us to Wilpattu national park at 5am and had lunch ready for us upon our return. All in all, a very pleasant, relaxing stay at this family’s home! Thank you so much for having us :)

The homestay is at walkable distance to the bus stop from negombo. Fonseka also offered to pick up by tuk tuk .the family room was very airy, with clean sheets. However there is no hot water available. The owners Fonseka and Lakmali are very hospitable and provide all the information. I got to sight elephants outside the homestay :) they provide tasty food as well at a reasonable charge.

Just awesome! A warm family, lovely house and rooms. Peaceful away from town centre in nature, but still close to centre and temples. Their son is joyful and likes a game of cricket in the driveway. Beware, he's good, so you might lose. You can rent a bike for a day with them and cycle everywhere (small price). If you want, they provide lovely breakfast, dinner and are helpful in arranging some of your travel logistics. We were picked up at the train station and dropped off at the bus station. They also organised our trip to Wilpattu (incl transport, breakfast, lunch, water, jeep and driver etc). We had one of our best days ever at Wilpattu. The bikes we used to cycle into Anuradhapura and see the different cultural places. One evenig we decided last minute to go to Mihintale at sunset. They quickly organised a tuktuk (brother) and we got there just in time for sunset! Long story short: lovely people, lovely stay, good time!
