Biggest indoor sport fsility in North Central province, and has swimming pool and the open ground and also stadium, Batminton stadium more than 20 sport competitions are orgaized by annually.

This ground is now called Anuradhapura Public Grounds. Located just opposite the famous Salgado Bakers restaurant.

This is situated adjacent to the Anuradhapura stadium where facilitates all sports in the district. Apart from that all recreational activities, Books fairs, exhibitions and sales are to be held. Transport facilities are also available as tha main road to this ground distance is very low. Hence people can come and go any time

Large spacious complex. Great for all island school athletic events. Participation for these events exceed 600 schools, so parking and washrooms need to be plentiful. Lots of parking around the complex. Bathrooms can be improved but adequate. Stadium has fixed comfortable seating. The 400m grass track is OK. The grounds inside the track gets a bit muddy when it rains. The large warm-up ground does not have proper drainage and is very muddy when it rains. Location is great, plenty of food shops on the main road.
