Location was fantastic, table service was good. But the Food is tasteless, prices are way too high. We ordered a Vegetable Fried Rice & a Chicken Fried Rice. If your main goal is to hangout & have a normal meal, it's an ideal place, take upstairs.

I bought Chicken full kotthu & It's not worth for price. Their Full kotthu is like regular kotthu of other places & not tastier as high priced meal. And thay charges over prices for Yogurts & Water bottles💸💸💸. Staff also not good😣. don't recommend Foods in that place. 😐

Best buffet in the town. No doubt in that 🤩 Food was so delicious. We had the breakfast. Buffet is Sri Lankan. But you can ask for something extra from the staff if required. Owner is very friendly and would even bring the food containers to your table for refilling 😍

Recommend restaurant around Anuradhapura area for lunch or dinner. Very clean and attractive environment there and architecture is wonderful. The foods are very tasty and potions also good enough. Prices also reasonable.

Had quality Buffet Lunch. the restaurant is luckily not as busy as previous years because there are more Lunch restaurants opening in the area with similar menus. The prices are usually higher in comparison. too expensive to eat there often.(normaly all restaurants foods prices are expensive compared to other areas in the country).can recommended.all are perfect other than prices.

Not recommended for takeaway. Takes ages to deliver what the cashier promises. Food is very bad. We had a Nasi Guran and a chicken fried rice. Nasi was one of the worst we had for a while. We could hardly find Chicken/ Fish and the taste was very unpleasant. The dining /waiting area was full of mosquitoes and the staff asked us to stay inside the car, till they take 30min+ to prepare the food.

Buffet style food. Delicious. Definitely ask for a pork curry separately. It was all really well cooked and fresh. Fruit juices were so good we kept ordering more. Staff friendly and service prompt. Buffet only was LKR 290. Clean and spacious place. Individual little thatch roof huts to eat in. Saw an option of a AC cabana available. As well as an upstairs area. Was informed that cabins were also there for accommodation.

Good place get foods. Very clean place and tasty foods. Small and large portions available and worth for the price. Parking available at along the road side.

Many places on Google maps don't exist anymore, luckily this one did! After a long evening of searching we found this gem. Took almost everything on the menu, would recommend biryani, chop suey, deviled chicken and definitely the salads.

Had high expectations for a mouth watering Break fast, But had average Kola kenda with some common curries & common taste. Nothing exceptional except for the Furniture & appearance.

We went there because of the good recommendations on Google maps. Sadly, we were the only guests. We ordered noodles with chicken and the famous pork curry (highly recommended by others) as main dishes and beer for drinks. They bought the beer from outside and it was warm as they served it. The noodles with chicken were OK, even though there was more egg than chicken. I could hardly find any chicken bites, just some really tiny pieces. The pork curry was ok. There was enough meat but it was from poor quality. Mostly fat and bones. I would not recommend to go there. When we asked for a tuktuk to bring us back to the hotel, they immediately called a driver. He was there 10 Minutes later. He didn't want to tell us the price for the ride to our hotel. So after we hesitated, we agreed on 200 LKR. In the end he didn't know the way at all and we had to guide him with Google maps. He also tried to re-negotiate the price. As a guest from the restaurant, I expect the restaurant to look for a proper driver to bring us home safely.

Best place in Anuradhapura to have an authentic Sri Lankan cuisine experience . Setting of this place itself is attractive for anybody who admires traditional village ambiance though they have a separate air conditioned facility too. They have sri lankan rice and curry buffet for lunch and for dinner they have a variety of sri lankan food items. Loved their curries which are flavourful. Their fish dishes soaked in hotness of kochchi are a must try. They also serve kottu, rice and other varieties. The staff is very helpful and attentive. most importantly they value customer feedback. Even the prices are very reasonable. However the normal seating area gives mosquito trouble in the evening , hope they would remedy it too.

It's ok. Compared to the price tag, the taste and the quality of food doesn't match. A neutral taste. Its served in buffet style. But doesn't have many varieties.

Foods are super expensive and absolutely not worth for that price. Cheese kottu price is Rs.1530. And I think they didn’t use cheese, felt like they used milk. Per string hopper price is Rs.20. Atmosphere good, but prices are really bad.

We have tasted vegi fried rice, food is delicious without adding artificial favours. A large portion is also satisfied for the 2 adult value of it. The environment is very attractive, the table & bench are made with wild timber plank. Overall good, quality place at @Anuradhapura

May be because some part of the restaurant is not finished yet, the premises looked not so neat. There is no proper wash room. You have to use wash room inside the house. But we enjoyed food. Various choices for breakfast was great. Price is reasonable.

The chicken fried rice is amazing, with generous portions that can easily feed two or more people, and the cheese koththu is a delightful, cheesy delight.

Absolutely great meal. Cheese Kottu, string hoppers kottu and nasi goreng were all highlights. The normal portion definitely did the job for one person, I was stuffed, we all were! Service was great too. I enjoyed the adventure to find the toilet as well, very fun. I highly recommend!

Our experience at Gemi was quite poor. We wanted to give it a go as the menu looked quite attractive but once there, we were told that only a few items are available. That was quite a disappointment. Even the food they did had, was quite average. I do hope that they improve their service as the place looks really lovely and staff are very helpful

This is possibly my favourite restaurant in Anuradhapura and quite possibly the whole of Sri Lanka. The variety, flavours, quantity, everything is on point. The food in general is amazing. The price left me in awe with it being surprisingly cheap compared to the amount of food given. The buffet style food was amazing. The location in the outdoors was stunning, and surprisingly the pest control was top tier with there being minimal flies. It’s an amazing restaurant and would definitely recommend to others.

Prices for what you get is way too high. Portion is small and taste only ok. View prices I remember from the list: kottu vegetable 1.200Rs Kottu egg 1.450Rs cheese kottu vegetable 2.200Rs Staff was friendly and sprays you with mosquito repellent, but theres so many, it doesn't really work. Won't be coming again, theres much better and cheaper options.

Pros - 1. Environment of the restaurant is good, clean & tidy. 2. Food - Cheese koththu and egg noodles is good in taste. Prices for the food are fairly ok. 3. Staff - dressed with clean and tidy unforms. Pleasant and friendly staff. Cons - 1. Food - nasi goreng is extremely spicy. 2. Service - slow & it's below average, I had to wait about 30 min until the food I ordered being served. They didn't served us drinking water. I had to made 3 requests to the waitress who served us and had to wait more than 10 min for water. Finally I went to their counter and got a water bottle. Imagine the situation that being waiting for 10-15min after having very very spicy nasi goreng. My 2 little kids were crying for water (kids didn't have nasi goreng). 3. The waitress who served us had no idea of food items listed in the menu. Even she didn't know wether nasi goreng includes chicken or not. 4. You have to pay with cash only. No card payment facilities available. 5. No parking facilities available. You have to park your vehicle at the corner of the road.
