Worst place in Anuradhapura. Toilets not working. Taps are not working. Serves only one food for breakfast but when booking they said many options available. On the website they have uploaded their old photos.

Indika Lake Resort is located in a calm beautiful environment close to a lake known as Kalaththawa, about 6KM away from the sacred city Anuradhapura. The hotel is about a kilometer away from the main road, situated within a village. It has three cottages, one for a family. The place is absolutely charming - situated next to the lake, the cottages and the open dining are in the middle of an open green grassy area, and blissfully quiet. Cottages were more clean and comfortable with nicely arranged beds, AC, Free Wi-Fi & satellite TV. The service is excellent. The caretaker takes very good care of you. Loved the stay, the surroundings, the service and the food. Peaceful place, really enjoyable.

This is a ideal location to avoid the noisy town side fringe to the Kalaththawa lake. Rooms are in good condition

Indika lake resort is a perfect destination for anyone who visit Anuradhapura. It has a tranquil and serene environment which allows one to relax and spend the time. The staff is very supportive and well mannered. The food we had from the resort was superb. One of the finest resort in Anuradhapura. Its approximately 5km from Mihintale and 7km from sacred city of Anuradhapura. There are three cabanas. Food is nice and charges are affordable. Wonderful to bring your kids. There is a nice lake adjoining the resort.

This is the best place I have stayed at Anuradhapura. Very quiet place . And friendly staff. Facilities are well maintained. Most of all I live the lake view and its ideal for a nature lover to spend a day or two, highly recommended to nature travellers.

Poor maintenance of rooms. hot water was not working. bathroom are not well maintained..very poor service & not good communication.
