Service 5/5 Superb service. The owner (mr mangala) was very kind, helpful and flexible. I had to go for a room upgrade at the last minute, which was accepted and arranged without making any fuss. The caretaker mr Athula was very helpful, polite and efficient through out our stay. Extremely friendly service. Room was spacious and comfortable. But a bit rugged out. Cleanliness 4/5 No bathroom or room amenities were provided (except soap and towels) default. No room kettle or drinking water (dont know whether they provide them on request. We didn't request. ) Food 4/5 Meals can get arranged on request (ala carte). Taste is avarage, portion is adequate, but price is towards the higher side, but still would be an convenient option depending on the location of the hotel. Convenience 5/5 Has a private parking area inside the hotel with shelter. Can accommodate 5-6 vehicles at a go Swimming pool is medium size, clean and safe. There was pool attendant/life guard. But the access road (400m from main road) was muddy and bumpy, but still can go by a car with low ground clearance (prius)

Beautiful place with lot of trees and friendly eco grade hotel where you can enjoy the pool and wake up in the morning listening to the peacock sound. It is hideout located in-between Anuradhapura and Mihinthale. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is great and Mr. Mangala is very good host. You can find special lake fish fried 😊. I spent there about 4 days with my wife and kid and enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommended place to be calm and enjoy the nature.

We booked through Agoda but when we arrived at the property I was told they don't do online booking and our booking is not valid. Luckily they had two vacant rooms to give us. The rooms didn't have even the basic amenities such as towels, toilet paper, hair dryer etc. We had to make request for each of these. There is no phone available in the room to call the reception. You have to go to the reception every time you need something. Room and bathroom are large. But the bathroom was not clean and there were several cockroaches in our bathroom when I when in their at night. I guess ok for one night stay and you get what you pay for. On the positive side, the pool was good.

It's a nice guest house in Mihintale. Rooms are big, bathrooms too. Though it needs much better cleaning, especially the bathrooms. Service is very friendly and staff members do try to accommodate all you needs/requirements. The grounds are nice, big swimming pool, area well maintained. Though i wish it was a better lighting in the garden and restaurant in the evening. The food is good and breakfast is plentiful. Overall is a good choice considering quality-price ratio.

Rooms need to be fixed. They smell mold and airco does t work properly.

Always obtain a phone recording of your price negotiations over the phone. Will be useful when setting the bills at checkout. Do not use swimming pool. Dogs drinking out of it.😧

Amazing little guest house amongst the jungle. Amazing staff, very helpfull. No sound of cars just pure nature. Had wonderful authentic sri pankan dinner and breakfast. Rooms just might need a little upgrade but apart from thatbits super wow. Pity we only had one night there. Highly recommended.

We arrived quite late at this small hotel but the chef, Shashia, created a delicious meal, ( and breakfast) taking into consideration our special dietary needs.

Rooms are okish, bathroom r big. There were insect in the bathroom and mosquitoes also were problem. Tinny TV and hot water were issue in our two rooms, one is not working other is over heating. For one night is ok for their price.

We stayed for 1 night and the staff were so incredibly welcoming! The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We were craving Sri Lankan food and they made us an entire spread for just 2 people for the complementary breakfast in the morning. The property itself is really beautiful - very in nature and the sounds the birds/ jungle when you wake up/ when you swim is really peaceful. We also saw them feeding the squirrels and taking care of the little stray animals which was really nice. A place with real passion for taking care of nature. They can improve a little bit on the overall cleanliness of bathrooms/ rooms/ sheets. I am sure if we told them, they would have immediately done it but we were too tired and hence just slept. Overall, really happy with the experience.

We had a fabulous two nights here. The beds are so comfortable, the staff are so lovely, the pool was beautiful and the breakfast well what can I say but downright delicious! The beer with the chilled glass was icy cold. Nothing was too much for the staff they are so happy to help and very flexible. The prawn cocktail is a must we had it two nights in a row! The setting is quiet and peaceful I would highly recommend.

I checked into the hotel 11th of December & we have booked family room for single night. Same day evening there was a snake in the bathroom doorstep and we inform that to hotel staff immediately but they were very lethargic and also not attended to it fast after that incident we left from that place as soon as possible and best thing is the hotel owner didn't give us single phone call regarding this issue so I will not reccomend this place to anyone because they were irresponsible and they ruined our Anuradhapura trip .

Very cozy and authentic. Blends you in with nature completely. Squirrels will eat from the palm of your hand, you can get a banana fresh off the palm on your way to the pool.

You won't get the fancy 5-star experience but I would say they have done their level best in their capability. The food is really good and the rooms are also very clean and have enough space. The staff is really supportive and friendly. If you are travelling to Anuradhapura and needs accommodation, I would definitely recommend giving it a try!!

A very nice place to stay. Beautifully laid out compound. Very friendly staff. Spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was good. Lovely countryside for the morning walk. Wifi was decent. Food was tasty. The host is very friendly and helpful. Decor is nice. Lots of trees in the compound.

The hotel is a mid tier hotel that offers comfortable rooms, a pool and quiet environment. The rooms are comfortable and air conditioned. But don't offer a TV. The bathrooms are big but the water flow is not good. So may remain wet. The pool is nice. And they have a two feet deep separate kiddies pool. During my visit, the rains caused a large puddle to form right at the entrance to the hotel, and my daughter slipped and fell on the mud. This could have easily been remedied by the management, I thought. The food is delicious. They have very tasty healthy options as well. (I loved the chicken salad and the prawn cocktail) Overall, it's a nice place for the money you spend. I hope the puddle issue would be sorted soon.
