What can we say, this was definitely the trip of a lifetime. We found navin from Trip Advisor and the reviews were all right. We are a family of four and used to travelling the world, and this trip surpassed any we have done before. Every day there was a wow moment. Navin worked closely with us to sort out our trip, offering advice, listening to what we wanted and put together the most amazing holiday. With nimal driving and Navin guiding and organising we were able to sit back, relax and enjoy everything Sri Lanka has to offer, which is a lot. We did most of the big tourist sites, wildli#fe parks, train journey and cultural locations. Navin was flexible to our needs throughout and we could not have asked any more. Navin has been our guide for the visit of Mihintale and Anuradhapura. He is an official tour guide, very knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate the needs of his customers. Shortly after touring with him we had a small car accident, and he came immediately to help us out once our driver contacted him. Today we had a wonderfull day together with Navin. Seeing the highlights of Anuradhapura with good explanation in decent English. His friendliness is a bliss and his happy energy let's you enjoy every moment even when the heat gets to you. My trip with Narvin began with a half-day Anuradhapura city tour. I liked him so much that I took him with me on a multi-day tour across northern Sri Lanka. He’s extremely passionate about the sights of Sri Lanka and he really knows his stuff. Unlike a lot of the guides, he’s an extremely safe driver and you can change your tour however you like. But what stood out to me was the fact that he supported me when I had severe burns. He took me to the hospital, stayed with me the whole time, and then stuck with me in Kandy to care for me when I couldn’t walk. I can’t speak highly enough about the kindness he showed me during this time.

I spent two days with Navin, doing an Anuradhapura tour and a Wilpattu safari and it was amazing! He really likes his job and you feel it. Also, he helps me a lot with my solo trip with his contacts in the island. The safari experience was one of the best experiencie in my life! Well-organize and the driver takes a lot of time to look the animals, which is great. Definetely recommended!

Navin ensured our first trip to Sri Lanka and the fortnight of travel with his assistance was just what we hoped for. More than just a 5 star recommendation! We originally only booked Navin for a half-day tour in Annuradhapura. We were so satisfied and enthusiastic that we spontaneously booked him for the next 3 days and visited Sigirya and Polonnaruwa with him as our guide. We did a first tour in Anuradhapura with Navin and it was marvelous. He is so knowledgeable and interesting. We had such a good time that we hired him for another day in Mihintale and he organised a cooking class especially for us at one of his friends place. I need to tell you all about the amazing experience I have just had with Navin from Navin Lanka Tours. I decided for my first Sri Lanka trip that to make the most of the time I had available to visit the central part of Sri Lanka including the ancient cities, I could do with a driver. After some research I came across some positive reviews about Navin and made an enquiry. Navin was fast to respond, polite and highly competitive. I spent 6 days with Navin taking me from Kandy to Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura and Jaffna and lots of places in between. What an incredible experience I had thanks entirely to Navin. I’ve never had a driver before on any holiday I have done, I’m usually quite independent, so I really didn’t know what to expect. With Navin I didn’t just get an excellent driver, I also got a highly professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entirely passionate travel guide. Navin was totally professional, so friendly, very punctual, fantastically funny sense of humour,great conversationalist and interested in learning new things. Best of all Navin has a genuine love for nature, the environment and the animals of Sri Lanka. Navin’s enthusiasm for his job especially for the history and culture of Sri Lanka made my experience all that more special. When I experienced a medical issue part way through our trip, Navin was quick to help me. He went above and beyond the call of duty to get me the attention I needed and he was so caring, concerned and compassionate. He has even continued to check in on me in the time since I left Sri Lanka just to see how I am doing. So so kind. If Navin is the standard for drivers/guides in Sri Lanka then he has set the bar bloody high 😄 Thankyou Navin for making my experience so wonderful, for being so caring, for loving your job and your country and for exposing me to a Sri Lanka I would never have got to experience the same way without your help. It's difficult for us to express how thankful we feel towards Navin. From the moment we contacted him to the very end, he made everything on his hand to make us feel comfortable and to comply with exactly what we wanted and needed. As a host, he immediately made us feel home, safe and welcome: he picked us up at our stay in Trincomalee, patiently helped us solve an issue we had with the owner of our previous accomodation and managed to make us grow past such unpleasant episode and focus on the amazing tour we had ahead of us. As a tour guide, he was knowledgeable and extremely respectful to the facts we were mercilessly and constantly asking him about, but also fun and entertaining. We only had a few hours to discover the ancient city of Anuradhapura with him, but he was able to guide us through all of the most important sites with no rush whatsoever, allowing us to linger wherever we felt the need to and to have coffee and snacks as we pleased. All and all, it was simply amazing having him as a tour guide. Even though we only met him at the end of our trip, he actually helped us make sense of everything we had come across during our stay in Sri Lanka and shed light onto the things we had struggled so much understanding. The only regret we have is not having contacted him earlier... What a joy would've been discovering Sigiriya, Dambulla or Polonnaruwa with him! We can't recommend Navin enough. The day with Navin was absolutely great! He picked us at the hotel at time agreed, and make the day beautiful! So kind and nice, and he provided us all needed information, not only for the day, but also for the next days of our journey (buses, hostels, sightseeing...). Navin showed me the wonders of Wilpattu National Park. Everything was arranged at last minute but he managed everything very well. A nice guy to be around and the ride to the sight on his motorcycle at dawn was the best.
