A
great
place
to
play
with
children
and
valley
creatures
near
Seoul
Sammaksa
Valley,
located
in
Anyang,
can
be
reached
within
an
hour
by
car
from
the
suburbs
of
Seoul
or
Suwon.
I
went
there
with
my
child
at
the
end
of
May,
but
the
water
in
the
valley
has
dried
up
and
only
traces
of
what
was
once
a
valley
are
visible.
It
was
a
shame
to
go
back,
so
I
settled
down
at
the
beginning
where
the
water
was
flowing
and
tried
to
catch
tadpoles
(they
were
too
far
away),
but
it
was
difficult
to
catch
them.
Still,
I
caught
a
few,
and
they
ended
up
with
three
legs.
In
addition,
we
caught
salamanders,
water
frogs,
and
water
striders,
and
the
child
was
amazed
to
meet
new
valley
creatures
after
only
experiencing
tadpoles.
It's
a
shame
there's
no
water,
but
I
still
think
I
had
a
good
time
with
my
child.
There
was
plenty
of
parking
when
I
left
around
9:30,
but
when
I
left
around
11:30,
there
were
a
lot
of
cars
parked.
I
need
to
go
again
after
the
rainy
season.
