It’s a must visit place in Hirosaki City that has various apple species. You can go here by using bus from Hirosaki Station for 200¥, please do check the timetable using app/ask the tourist information center inside the station. I came when a festival was held, so it was very fun and can eat various food inside. Not only apple trees viewing, you can also buy some products made from apple and even pick the apple itself when it was during apple season. Also, you can see Mt. Iwaki perfectly from here when the weather is good.

Didn't realise how many different apples there are. This is a great place to wonder around and spend a day just stroll around the park.

A big park/garden of apple I came during the apple flower festival but was not crowded at all. It is my first time visit an apple garden. Apple flower is not famous like cherry blossom but it is very pretty. The park has many type of apple. They are selling apple juice there as well (of course). You can reached this park by car or by bus from Hirosaki station (bus stop number 6 - 300 yen) - visit the tourist information center for timetable of bus.

Visiting Hirosaki Apple Park is a must-do when you visit Hirosaki. Travelling there : Although it is hard to travel there without a car, most of the time, your hotel or homestay will either guide you there or even drive you there. Upon entering the apple park, you are greeted with apple trees on both sides of the road. The Main Event: You should head into the main building and check the apple picking time as it is not usually fixed. You will be allowed to pick a selected breed of apple and a max of 4. You might think 4 is very little, trust me, it is a lot of apples, they are huge. Side Options: Consider to take some time and rent the bicycle. Riding around the park is very relaxing. There is also a decent-sized play-ground for kids if they do get bored. Lastly, you will be able to learn about every single type of apple worldwide. Food: The apple ice-cream is great! You really the flavour of the apples in it and the ice-cream is not too sweet. Do also try the cold soup, it is weird but tasty! Ok, time for the only bad. The apple park only serves food up till 2 pm, after which, you will only be allowed to order sweets and drinks. I ordered the apple pie, thinking that it will be great... I was sorely disappointed. The pie was pre-made and re-heated, the crust was not crispy and the apple was dead. Overall: It was indeed fun and I would have loved to spend more time there. As you may know, exported Japanese fruits cost a bunch so, pick them fresh here, guaranteed delicious and cheaper... way cheaper Will I return? Depends on who I am with. If alone, no real reason to.

It's a good place to visit. The apples are cheap and delicious, however you can only pick two of them and the orchards aren't very big. The views are very nice, however, and there's plenty of apple-related foods to enjoy!

The many varieties of apple trees are already full of fruits and look so beautiful. Although they are not ripe yet, a walk around the park is very pleasant and peaceful. Climb up the small hill and see the panorama view of the farm and beyond. Enjoy a delicious apple themed meal at the Ringo no le Restaurant. This is my second visit here and the happy memories still remains.

The entire place was filled with vibrant colors. Had a tonnes of varieties of apples. I participated in a mini tour, where one will be able to pluck 2 apples, from a certain variety chosen by the shop. The tour guide was very lively, provided his knowledge as best as he could.

No complaint. You will get to see an apple tree and pick your own apple from the tree.

Pick-up apple program will be available every 30 mins. We can pick up 2 apples per person and pay by their weights. Apple is so sweet and delicious. Moreover, there are many apple products and apple pie sell there.

A very nice apple farm where you can buy all apple related products you can think about and even learn how to pick apples yourself. The apples are also cheaper than anywhere else I've seen so far.

Went on Sept 23, Saturday. Took tamenobugo bus from Hirosaki station to Apple Park. More like a 4.5 place for me, since there wasn’t a lot to look at, and I wish there could be more walking trails. Maybe 1-2 hours is enough (includes eating at cafe), was planning to spend 3 hours here. Ate at the cafe and I enjoyed the apple rice and apple tea! The apple picking experience was excellent! The lady there was so nice and friendly. We knew very limited Japanese and she made us feel comfortable and helped us out with identifying which apples to pick. The apple I picked was saika and it was so delicious! So fresh and juicy!! Best apple that I had in Japan during my 22 days trip. I think this Apple Park would be enjoyed more by family with young children, as it is very family friendly. I also like the fact that I could buy postcards and stamps, and then send out postcards to my friends!! There was also a small museum place next to the cafe/market where we learned about the Apple Park and apple varieties. It was a nice space to write postcards.

I was surprised to see how big and serene this park is. So many types of apples, nice walking trails in the farm and a observation deck to view the whole apple farm. Retail store has very good items.

Can enjoy apple picking in the park with limited quantity they set. Payable by weighing. The apple is superb juicy and delicious. The restaurant is too small can’t accommodate the crowd.

Arrived just before 1600 but the apple picking was already done for the day. A bit disappointed but nonetheless a very interesting park with a cafe and a souvenir shop. Got a few good shots of mt. Iwaki as the sun set. Great place to take pictures and stroll around as its quite spacious. Parking is free and quite large.

Apple picking at the park was fun, each person is limited to pick up 3 apples and the fees are calculated based on weight but it isn't expensive. The scenery is very nice and it's a nice "relatively short activity". You could also buy many Apple products and drinks in the park's shop.

As it is not during Apple harvest season, it is just a greenery park for guest to take a stroll and kids to run around the open field. Wind is cooling and nice, albeit the sun. Climb up the knoll to get the good view of the surrounding town view.

Apple Park that is a must to visit while in Hirosaki. Great place for picnic as well. You have a chance to pick apples. It costs nothing to enter but just pay for the apples.

Must go place when you travel to Hirosaki, there are tooooo many apple trees and they offer an Apple Picking Session in every 20mins. Each person is allowed to pick 2 apples in a designated area and there will be a guide to instruct and lead you to the apple trees area. It is highly recommended for every local and foreign tourists.

Great for people like me whom have not have the chance to pluck apples. Park only allows each person to pluck 2 apples from the few designated trees. Apples will be charged by weight. They allow us to roam around the farm to look at their apples after plucking. Thanks for opening this place for visitors.
