Super Cool “American Ninja Warrior” style playground for kids! SO awesome!!!!! Even my three-year-old loves running around in it, though he couldn’t do much. They also have a second normal playground right across the other side of the parking lot! Great playgrounds!!!

I love this place. It has a beautiful landscape. Very relaxing park. You can fell peace and harmony, and kids can play free and safe. The lake is amazing. Highly recommended if you are living near or if you are just visiting Apex.

This is a great facility with many great playgrounds and sports fields around it. It is a great spot to go with kids for an afternoon. It also has the apex community park right next to it so you can walk around that trail as well.

Lots of space with picnic tables and pavilions on the playground area. Easy access to the walking trail, sand volleyball, tennis course and more. Great place to spend an afternoon or evening. No lights on the volleyball though.

Very nice place! There are plenty things to do here. Tennis courts, ninja warrior playground, kids playground, big and small shelters, also trails. We had a party with friends here at one of the shelters. It was shady (surrounded by trees) with long benches and tables.

This is an incredible park that is extremely large. there are multiple baseball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. There is a playground for kids and a ninja warrior training course that is designed for teens and adults that are over 14 years of age. But you will often find plenty of kids down there too. It's a great place to take your kid and exercise as well. there is also an amazing paved loop around the entire pond that is around 2 miles long. And there are plenty of hills including a very steep one near the lake pine parking entrance, so make sure you're watching your kiddo going downhill on that one because they can get some serious speed. There is also a hiking trail that branches off of the paved loop and includes some exercise calisthenic equipment along the trail.

I actually came here for the paved trail run. Scenery is beautiful, people here are friendly. There are 2 playgrounds, great for kids to burn some energy.

This is my all time favorite park! A beautiful 2 mile paved loop trail to walk around a nice calm lake. Squirrels, turtles, and ducks to be seen every time we go. And everything is easily accessed.

Was here for a Jazz concert in the amphitheater. Beautiful place to listen to great live music. You could pre-order meals ahead of time and buy beverages on-site.

Great park with a cool “ninja course” (designed for ages 13 and up but my agile 5-year-old could do most of the activities as long as he got out of the way of the faster big kids). Once the obstacle course area got too crowded with unmasked patrons, we walked over to the other playground and both our young toddler and 5-year-old could play on all of the equipment. A gated fence encloses the whole area to keep kiddos from darting out into the parking lot. It would have been nice to have a little bit more seating for parents, but otherwise this is an excellent destination with fun and clean equipment to entertain the kids.

Apex community park has three playgrounds and although each is only medium sized, together they make for a really nice park experience. Off the Laura Duncan Road entrance is a small play structure in a clearing. It has a nice slide but no swings and no good climbing options for smaller children. However, the playground is close to bathrooms and a short trail that leads to a creek, great for rock throwing. The second and third playgrounds are in the back of the park near the sand volleyball and tennis courts. The traditional playground has swings and slides and a few options for smaller children. The third playground is set up as an obstacle course and it's on turf. Although most of the challenges are aimed at older climbers younger kids really enjoy running on the turf. The park rangers do a great job of keeping all three playgrounds in good shape and fairly clean.

Really cool place to take the kids have some fun, they have two playground areas mostly covered so a good option in the summer. They also have restrooms and a lot of playing fields.

This park is massive! It has 3 playgrounds, one being a mini ninja park, and tons of tennis courts, volleyball courts, and a loop trail around a park. Plan for a half day adventure and bring lunch and lots of water.
