Spent $65 on an online pickup order. When you click on the website address, Google maps takes you to downtown Apex. I was trying to be nice and helpful by letting the people at McAlister’s know so they can fix it, Tania, the assistant manager, jumps in gives me an attitude about it. Unbelievable. Will NOT eat there again.

I came in last night and was greeted almost as soon as I walked in. I forgot her name but the girl at the register recommended the orange cranberry club after I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted and she was really patient when she took my order and listened to it in detail. The customer service was great and I will be coming back in the future.

Just bought a $15 sandwich (McAllister's King Club) from McAlister's Deli in Apex. When I got it home, the bread was so burnt it made the whole kitchen smell like an ash tray. They even put the burnt bread in the middle so it wasn't visible until I took it out of the box.

Excellent service - thanks, Midori! The King Club is huge! They did a great job w the steamed broccoli & the cup of soup was very good. The cookies are soft & delicious!

We had a great experience at the McAlisters in apex. Although portions were smaller than usual on the pick two the broccoli soup was good as always. The sandwich lacked some but was still good. Our salad was to die for. We come to this location quite a bit and never have a complaint. We always enjoy the soups, salads and sandwiches. I think it might have been an off night. We love McAlisters.

We use to regularly get food here, but after months of disappointment I think we need a new go to. Quality, portions, and care have gone down significantly. Our order is regularly missing things such as avocado and items that regularly come on the specific sandwich or salad ordered. I literally have to dissect my food before leaving if I want it made right. The portions are beyond tiny. Tonight I was given a forth of the sandwich I normally get, with barely any toppings between the bread. If I wanted a slice of bread I would have gone to my pantry. Unfortunately by the time I got home and opened our order (my husbands mistake for not doing it there) they were closed and there was no one to reach. I do not recommend ordering food from here.

I have eaten here several times. Food is consistently very good and fresh. And good selection. This time I was very disappointed with the character of the counter staff... not even sure how to describe the attitude other than lazy. They said they were so under staffed and then I saw 3 people standing around doing nothing and one guy doing all the work. It's not so much a reflection on McAlister's but these employees will reap what they sow and a feel sorry for them.

Had lunch here with a friend yesterday, the first time I have ever eaten here. Very happy with the menu, prices, and service. We were greeted promptly with a smile. They have an expansive and diverse menu, and the prices are very reasonable. I had a Reuben sandwich with a cucumber and tomato salad. The food arrive promptly, hot and fresh, nice presentation, and everything was delicious. The service throughout the meal was rendered with a smile, and employees checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. This is the type of service that I value. If you eat here, try the banana-butterscotch pie. Delicious!

I have visiting this location several times and took a friend this week and we both enjoyed our meals. My friend got a HUGE baked potato filled with cheese olives, green onions, butter, sour cream, and bacon. She took half of it home! She also got a HUGE piece of carrot cake and said it was the best she has ever had. I always get a pick 2, so this time I got the king club and a southwest chicken with avacado salad. Their tea is always so good and the drinks come in a huge cup. The place was clean and the employees were all kind and helpful. We were there between lunch and dinner and were told they would only be doing take out for dinner due to lack of staff. We were glad to have been there ahead of the dining room closing. Always good portions, always had good service here. I will continue to visit and my friend wants to go back already.

The food was good. Never tried it so it was a first for. Definitely will try again

I stopped by this afternoon while my car was in the shop down the street. I was indecisive on what type of salad to order. I ordered the Southwest salad that came with an orange colored dressing. It was absolutely delicious. I thought I'd have leftovers because it was a huge portion. Great salad, great customer service.

Black angus club sandwich was really delicious, chili was thick and good. The black angus roast beef spud could be better, too much potato and red onion vs meat. Good service.

I ordered for an office online. I picked up the order myself. The lemonade machine was down which I said was ok. In the office we opened the lunch items. Chips were missing. Cookie was missing. Wrong bread was used on sandwich. Salad was the wrong one ordered. Awful. I am a pharma rep and I can tolerate some error but this was ridiculous. Very disappointed.

Extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon . Expected a wait which was about 25 minutes but with staff shortage and all its to be expected. Staff seemed a little irritated but that's also to be expected when u have impatient customers . All in all I will return but it will not to be at the lunch rush . Keep up the good work guys , I know it's stressful but push through with a smile 😊😎

Waited for over 30 mins after I sat down for food to be brought out. My soup was cold and so was my Ruben. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McAllisters and this used to be one of my fav places

Went here for the first time for a brief lunch break. I was pleasantly surprised how fast my food came out, which is great because i did not have much time! The French dip was solid all the way, the au jus was very favorable. Great job by this team for great service/food

The baked potato and cheddar broccoli soup were delicious! The service was terrible. They barely spoke and acted like they didn’t want to place my order. Also $5 was missing from my change I had to come back and get it.

The food was good. But the Black Cherry tea is AWFUL! This the 3rd time in hopes that it gets better. The puree taste like NightQuil medicine. Im not sure if it is expired or what. 🤢 Also employees need to make sure customers get all their items. No excuse that someone has to run back for missing items. Life is hard enough.

Restaurant was very clean, we were greeted when we arrived and at the counter. The food was very flavorful and fresh.

Just came in today again, the food is quite generous and it's delicious. Honestly, the service staff is AMAZING! Most of them just have an upbeat attitude and very friendly. Sadly I can't say the same for the managers or supervisors. I was there today just before 2pm and the manager on-site neither acknowledged or said anything to the customers coming in or staff he was associating with. Just a giant put off to have to see the staff have to deal with such disgust!! I hope the staff keep it positive, they're the ones doing an amazing job!! Thank you to all of you.

McAlister's has several sandwiches/salads I go back for. Their chicken salad is great. The counter service was really good this last time. When we last visited, my sister, who sometimes uses a cane, accidentally forgot it. As we're pulling out of the parking lot we see the young woman from behind the counter running across the parking lot waving the cane until she flagged us down. This was service above and beyond the call of duty. We appreciated it.

Great place to eat! Friendly staff and delicious food. Love that they have Gluten Free bread to substitute, and the spuds are a meal in themselves! So good!

Used to love this place/location, but it has gone drastically downhill. They forgot half our takeout order, and when we went back to get the missing items, we’re greeted with annoyance and attitude. The kids toastie sandwiches with turkey had an unmelted half a square of cheese and a tiny bit of turkey in it for each half. I would recommend finding another stop other than this one.

Ordered 2 salads. They were nice size and delicious. Could not eat in due to staffing issues

Got the chicken Caesar wrap and chips for lunch. The wheat wrap was hard as a rock. It was like eating leather! Whoever made it had to notice that it broke when rolled, but still served it. There was also almost no dressing on the wrap. The small drink size was virtually a Dixie cup size and they threw in a kids sized bag of Baked Lays. All this can be yours for the low low price of almost $12! Seems like this place has REALLY gone down hill.

The front staff and cook were extremely friendly. I got the double decker version of the McAlister's signature sandwich and relished every single bite. I enjoyed the warm welcome as much as the food!

We had a great lunch here and the staff was friendly. I love that they have highchairs as well

Great food. Reasonable prices. Young man at register very pleasant. Always get 2 meals out of the combo salad and half sandwich.

Order accuracy needs improvement. I have literally BEGGED THEM multiple times on multiple visits to NOT GIVE ME A PICKLE! I hate pickles. I am pregnant, and hate them even more. Just the sight or the smell of a pickle is enough to make me puke. But yet, even despite being as adamant as possible to NOT PUT A PICKLE IN THE BOX with my meal, somehow there is always a $&@# pickle in the box, soaking it’s juices through everything, absolutely ruining the meal I just spent $20 on. Not cool. No excuses. Y’all need to do better.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE McAlister’s. I takeout from there 2-3 times a month. I understand that there are supply chain and seasonal problems with obtaining food. On my last visit my Pecan Berry salad had no pecans and my Rachel sandwich had no sauerkraut. Almonds were substituted for the pecans. I also asked for unsweet tea with lemonade and I got half sweet and half unsweet tea. It would be helpful if I had been told when I placed my order that these items are not available and/or being substituted. That would give me the option, before I got all the way home, and was disappointed, to change my order. This experience will not stop me from going back, but it will certainly lengthen the time I spend at the counter as I will be asking questions about each item I order. The employees are always friendly.

Be sure to bring your own salad dressing with you if you order a salad. The first small cup is free and any additional cups are 50 cents each.

Hot, quick, and kind. This place is a food chain but it definitely doesn't give you that feeling. I've tried this place in Apex and I've had food from the location in Raleigh and the food quality has been consistent each and every time.

Soooo good!! Service is good, it can get busy though. The food is a good variety of sandwiches, salads, soups and baked potatoes, "spuds." Filled with whatever you want. I usually get what amounts to a chicken salad minus the lettuce, atop a giant spud that lasts me 2-3 meals. Priced pretty fair for the huge proportion you'll get.

I grabbed the grilled chicken sandwich with the potato salad side. I ordered it online for pick up at home. It was easy to pick up, but after I ate the sandwich, I had indigestion for like half the day. It tasted good but was not worth the pain.

I've ordered the southwestern salad a few times and it has ALWAYS been delicious. Yesterday I ordered a veggie stuffed potato, and not only was it huge, but it's also delicious. This is becoming a common favorite place to order from.

Just discovered this place this week & have already ordered food there twice! So good & customer service is wonderful. Both meals for me were take out orders. No issues with missing items & it traveled home very well. Will definitely recommend & keep eating here.
