Cute little cafe and bistro in downtown Apex! We got coffees and an avocado toast - the avocado toast is a crazy value, $10 for 2 slices of bread and a thick layer of smashed avocado. The shop is very cute and is a nice location to grab a bite or do some remote work. Only three stars because WOW there's some bad hygiene practices happening. We watched 2 employees walk in the back door and immediately come in behind the counter and start working - no hand washing at all. One of them used the point of sale, which was being used by other baristas who were also making drinks and food. The other employee was making lots of food items. Additionally, the employee making food only switched gloves once or twice between multiple orders and touched her face multiple times while preparing orders. It also seems like one of the hot coffee carafes is weirdly close to the floor. It's not ON the floor? But it's on a lower level of a stainless steel table, meaning your coffee cup is about 3 inches off the ground (and the carafe spout is about 6 inches off the ground!) when it is being filled. It doesn't seem like a great practice. Even though the drinks are good and the food is a good value, poor hygiene practice is enough for me to not visit again.

Come here for the cool coffee shop vibe & free wifi, stay for their paninis and pastries. Pets not allowed inside but there is some sidewalk seating available. Enjoyable place with free 3 hr parking right outside.

Holy cow. This is the go to spot for breakfast or lunch right here. I drive 25 minutes just to have breakfast here. The açaí bowl is so. freaking. good!!! The Nutella açaí bowl is so delicious. Huge portions. Lots of fresh fruit. I love that it’s really cold too. Paninis I’m not even kidding are some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. You gotta give this place a try!

I'm giving 3 because of the service. The food is AMAZING. My review is not based on one experience this is EVERY time I have been inside which is 4 times in the past month or so. Every time I have ordered I have been treated differently whether I am standing longer than others just waiting to be acknowledged when it wasn't very busy. When my order is done I have not been addressed by my name but every other person before and after me is called by name. I did notice that once while there a few weeks ago another customer who happened to be a minority was not called by name either. After today I said I would give them one more try because the food is freshly made and my girls love the little desserts. I do hope it gets better next visit and moving forward.

Always hopping. You either have to come in early or prepare to wait. Today was 25 min so bring a book or sit outside to people watch . Btw, i highly recommend the tomato avocado toast. The minced garlic with the balsamic is a good combo. Topped it with hardboiled egg and it's a great after workout grub.

Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try this place but I’m happy I finally got to. The staff is so nice and the vibe is just what you’re looking for in a downtown coffee shop. The toast I got was 🔥🔥🔥. I’m definitely putting this place in my rotation. Can’t wait to come back.

This place is unreal! The bowls are huge and full of fresh fruit. Coffee is great and is my go to coffee shop to work at when I’m not in the office or have a breakfast meeting. This is easily the best coffee in apex.

This quaint little coffee shop lures me in every time I take a walk down Salem Street. The smell of yummy coffee and the friendly atmosphere is the perfect spot for any reason to get out of the house.

First time here. I stopped in because I was in downtown apex and waiting for my car to be repaired and needed lunch and somewhere to work. Their pesto panini was the best panini I’ve ever had in my life. It was so delicious. It comes with delicious Carolina chips - the rosemary and garlic were so tasty! They have free water and free guest internet! I’ll be back! Oh and tons of seating inside and outside.

The good: the majik Mike smoothie was tasty. The Reuben was good. The not-so-good: the Reuben was skiiiimpy on meat and the classic avocado toast was a little bitter to me, especially in an area where it looked like all the spice was concentrated (darker green spot in the photos). The bad: the person at the counter said they'd bring our food out to us (sitting outside). We waited quite a while. After we saw other people had come and gone with food, we went in to find out about ours. Our food has been sitting on the counter waiting for us and had become a cold sandwich and toast and a melted smoothie. We would have waited to get it ourselves if they hadn't told us they'd bring it out to us

Premium-feel yet homey coffee shop / smoothie / light meal place in apex downtown. Some customers I see work here like it's a coffee shop, others dine in for riffs on avocado toast, varied kinds of paninis, smoothies or acai bowls. Staff were pleasant to speak with and offered recommendations and comparisons. Menu has solid enough variety to play their hits. Also, not that I normally check for this, but bathrooms have always seemed clean and everything again seemed sanitary (addressing other reviews I see). Will return!

I keep a running list of dirty chai lattes on my phone called “Chai Notes” in my quest to weed out the disappointing ones. I’m that person. Mission Market gets a (rare) 👍 👍 thumbs up for a very satisfying dirty chai (I got mine with almond milk). Service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the portion size on their avocado toast was generous. I believe they emptied out a whole avocado for mine, and the juicy, sun-dried tomatoes were delicious with the balsamic and evoo drizzle. It was a bit messy to eat, but I was pleased with the quality, preparation and portion.

Definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Downtown Apex (and far better coffee / food than the place across from it). Good place to meet for a quick breakfast or coffee with friends. Has outdoor seating and also some cute indoor seating, which is actually pretty nice for the Downtown area.

I'd never been here before last week and now I've been here twice lol! This is a cool little spot right in the middle of downtown Apex. Both times I've been here have been on Sundays. It was easy to find a parking spot on the street both times. I came here last week because Google told me they had smoothies. When I looked at their menu, I was delighted to see they so serve Açaí! That's a win/win for me! The place itself is small, but there are plenty of seats inside as well as outside. They have a shop on the side that offers shirts, and other sundries. I ordered the PB and Jammin as well as the Conquer the Day smoothie. Both were fantastic! My son tried a bowl for the first time and he loved it! The bowls are pricey, but the portions are big. They fill the bowls up past the top, so I feel like you definitely get your moneys worth. All the staff members I met so far were great! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Always had a terrific experience when coming to Mission Market whether it was really early in the day or later than I intended after losing track of time when working from home. Mission Market is so pleasing to visit for many reasons besides the food, although I get an açaí bowl ever time I visit! They sell local good at a reasonable price, the location is very convenient and has great WiFi, and the staff is always a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommend anyone in Apex or from out of town to visit Mission Market!

Best choice for acai bowls in the area. Great avocado toast and sandwiches. Their lattes are amazing. Prices a bit high and often busy but you can order ahead for pick up through website. Cute unique gifts for sale also. Limited seating and parking downtown has gotten increasingly worse the past couple of years so often lately I can’t find anywhere to park nearby. Best option is to go with 2 people when picking up order so driver can circle the block while passenger runs in to pick up order.

Love this place! Acai bowl is so yum!

Open, welcoming and friendly: just what a local coffee spot should be. I appreciate the 8 ounce options as the flavor is usually best in smaller quantities. The staff is competent and focused. It’s easy to see why the shop is always full and full of cheer!

My cousin from LA was in town and wanted to take her out to a cool coffee shop in the area. Honestly, I had never been here but heard it was good. We both loved the atmosphere and the coffee was great. My cousin got a Acai bowl which she said was delicious. She has now gone back to LA but I still plan on stopping by when I am in town!

Great coffee and sandwiches. Nice to have a place near our house where we can eat outside with our dog. It’s in a great location; no dedicated parking lot that I know of but always plenty of nearby public parking.

Their acai bowls are good! I'd say they're comparable to what I used to get in CA (where I used to live, there were acai bowl shops in almost every shopping center 🤣) . I am also a huge fan of goji berries and they happen to have that as a topping here. They also have a cute little gift shop inside with local crafts and gifts to browse through. No designated spots but parking has never been an issue for me!

Such a cute spot! The capri toast on sourdough bread is probably the best toast I’ve ever had! So tasty! Our dirty chai lattes were delicious as well.

Great atmosphere, amazing food! I tried a few smoothies from this place and they’re always top notch. Also their sourdough sandwiches are everything you dream of!
