Apex is such a great town. Here's the July 2023 Chalk the Walk for the 150th anniversary of Apex, hosted by the town. Lots of fun loving people having a great time, and some really impressive works!

Nice little playground. Medium-sized. They’ve added a covering which is super nice on a hot sunny day for shade! My four-year-old had a BLAST here playing with other kids. They all had so much fun playing together! This playground has that triple-slide I’ve seen at a few other playgrounds. The floor surface is the glued together mulchy-looking rubber floor surface. There’s a large picnic shelter right next to the playground, with restrooms as well. This park also has an awesome top level skate park! Baseball fields as well of course. Huge park!

One of the best parks in the area! So clean and so much to do! They have shade over the tables so no matter how hot it is, the seats won't be too hot! My kids loved it@

Cool if you like soccer, skateboarding, baseball or a dog park. Watch out for the Karens. There seem to be a lot there.

Clean and well kept park. A little bit of something for everyone. Soccer field, softball field, and doggy park. The public bathrooms are mostly well-maintained.

Great place for soccer, skateboarding and baseball. A small picnic shelter with restrooms are nice addition. Thanks to Apex town for efficiently planning this park in the midst of busy downtown and office / retail buildings nearby. Plenty of parking.

The soccer field doesn’t have any seating for spectators or seating for teams. Beautiful field but no consideration for spectators.

Great turf field for pick up on evenings. Skate park on the other side is great. Park is always clean, plenty parking.

I love that there is a big umbrella over the playground to shield you from the sun on super hot days. Everything seems pretty clean and taken care of. I wish there were swings for bigger kids (and adults!) and the bathrooms aren't very great but overall a pretty good park.

Visited the dog park. My dog liked it better than the one at nature park. Maybe just because it was new to her.

Apex has done a great job building Hunter St. Park. There is a skate park, nice turf field, play ground, dog park and baseball field. All always seem very well kept. The bathrooms are also kept clean and there are water fountains in a couple places in the park. My family always enjoys using Hunter St park! Nice work Town of Apex! Even years later after it's been open and used and we're still impressed with how the park is kept. We continue to enjoy this facility even after moving 20 minutes away.

Playground is an ideal height for smaller children. Includes monkey bars that are about 4' tall. Located next to baseball and soccer fields.

2017: My dog loves this park. Maintenance could be little better but good place with friendly ppl and dogs Update 2022: the park has been changed a lot. Mulch is replaced with sand and its beautiful now. Clean and maintained

You can't beat the price of an annual membership or the location of the Hunter St. Dog Park. It is within walking distance of my house, so we use it all the time! Tired dog, happy dog mom!!

Fantastic park area in downtown Apex, NC. The dog parks are perfect for your furry friend and there is a skate park, a soccer field and baseball field. Now with the addition of the July 4th fireworks. This park gets even more usage.

Pros: Decent to nice sized small dog park. Great shade. Water faucet with bowl. Nearby parking. Con: (and reason why 4 stars) Right when we arrived two owners with big dogs used the gate between the parks to come over. When reminded that they're in the small dog park they said, "Oh my dog just wanted to say hi,' or 'My dog gets along with small dogs.' I told them to leave and they did. If it was to be a big mosh pit, they wouldn't have made two sized parks. This goes for small dog owners too; stay on your side. I thought paying for access would keep the idiots at bay, but not so.

The park is ok. It's small, but has baby's swings, slides and some climbing stuff. I would not come here for the play ground itself but while my older kids are skate boating nearby it's ok

I love that local businesses can reserve the fields so they can get the kids outside. There's great little kid playgrounds and nice shelters with bathrooms.

Great little park with soccer and baseball field plus a small playground and a fantastic skate park

This is a super nice park. I wish we had one like it closer to home (Raleigh) where you can just come and play/practice soccer. Plenty of goals of different sizes and nice turf. A little loud when a train comes through and a couple of the goals could use new netting but I would make the drive again without hesitation.
