The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars is because the lady at the reception was quite unfriendly. Not a great way to make a first impression. However, everyone else was fantastic. I really appreciate Dr. Smith's enthusiasm and positivity. She makes me feel very comfortable as did all of the other ladies who work alongside of her in the exam rooms. The gentleman in billing at the end of my visit was also very nice and helpful.

I am glad you sent me this feedback as I was going to use a public social media site to relate my experience. Your front desk staff were totally inexperienced and in some cases brash and rude. Didn’t feel welcomed as a new patient. The medical service was not much better. While the doctor’s manner was inviting, he did not leave me thinking that I was anything more than a number. I was not confident in the medical advice that I received there.

We drive from Wake Forest to see Ginger Smith at Family Dermatology. She is so thorough, kind and welcoming. My children feel very comfortable with her and she is so worth the drive! Always a great experience!!

Dr. Bhatnagar out of the Apex office was very warm and friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I also enjoyed speaking with her nurse. All of my questions were answered and I didn’t feel rushed. Great experience overall and I’m hopeful for positive results while under her care.

When I walked out of the office door on my way to my car I exclaimed out loud “wow! that was a great experience!” I also thanked the receptionist as I scheduled my appointment for my next visit. The office itself is run extremely efficiently and pleasantly. Dr. B is absolutely amazing. I can’t believe she remembers all the details about me as a patient. That enough is fascinating; it speaks highly of her intellect, skill and her commitment to good service. Then the exam that she gave me (explaining what she’s doing and telling me what she finds at every step along the way is exceptional. I have the ultimate faith and confidence in her. I will gladly tell anybody who wants to listen that Family Dermatology is a great place with a wonderful team. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with the Apex location of Family Dermatology. I was referred by friends, specifically to see Ginger. The office staff was friendly and the intake nurse was amazing. When Ginger met me, she helped me feel relaxed and comfortable. An assistant took proliferous notes so I could engage with Ginger and have information to take home. She went over my entire body quickly and efficiently, pointing out things of concern and what not to be concerned about. All my questions were answered. The nurse who took my biopsy was so fast and gentle I didn’t even know it was completed. I felt a little silly when the intake nurse came to see if I was ok. They referred to her as The Ninj! 😂 Ginger provided sample products and sound, logical advice for skincare. They called me promptly with the results of the biopsy. The whole experience was terrific. It’s worth the wait if you do not have emergency concerns, and even then, I suspect they would do their best to help you. I will stay loyal to them for my skincare as long as I remain in the area, and I currently drive from downtown Raleigh. And to the staff, please take care of yourselves so you can continue providing this excellent healthcare. COVID burnout is real. Pay yourself first! ☺️

I was seen by an awesome nurse who was very patient with me. I was late and she was very understanding. She was very good with instructions concerning a med. I was to have administered. Had a procedure 2.5 weeks ago, the doctor said I'd have the results in 2-3 days. It's impossible to get any of the nurses to answer the phone, I've now left at least 4 messages over 5 or 6 days, not one phone call has been returned and still can't get anyone to answer. Do I need to go back for another procedure? Am I all good? Who knows, nobody answers or calls you back!

First appointment. Doctor was direct and too the point. We will see how the medicine works! So far so good.

Doctor and nurse were both very competent and great to work with. They worked very effectively with each other. Communications all around (amongst us three) were excellent.

Very thorough job. A superficial skin cancer was detected and I will be treated for. My appointment was yesterday, and I found out results today. So glad it is caught early. For someone who is not trained it looks like a little dry patch on my cheek. Thank you Family Dermatology!

We (my husband and I) have been going here since they opened in Apex. We really like Ginger and she seems to have a genuine concern for her patients. The examination tables are more modern and easier to use. The atmosphere in the office is professional, but friendly. You really don't feel like a number, but more like an actual person they care about.

My appointment with Ginger was fine. She gets 5 stars. The issue was with my wait time, it was ridiculous. I had a 1:40 appointment but was not seen until after 2:20. If I had walked I to an appointment 40 minutes late, the office would have canceled that appointment. Why is my time less important than theirs? Stop over scheduling patients!

Both the nurse and the doctor were incredibly patient and had an excellent communication style with my children. They answered all of our questions in ways that we could understand and made OTC recommendations to consider following the prescribed medication usage.

I am always pleased with the service at this office. The staff are efficient and helpful; the wait time is minimal, and Dr. Smith is always friendly and professional. I wish all doctors ran their offices this well!

Through the years they have found multiple cancer spots that were successfully removed. Very small price to stay healthy and safe.

I saw Ginger for a fully body skin check. She was professional and thorough. She looked at all areas of concern I mentioned and explained it all in a way that was easy to understand. Definitely recommend!

Going to the doctor's isn't a visit we normally look forward to. Going to Family Dermatology has always provided an environment that is both pleasant and trustworthy. You never feel like a "number" here, but an actual person. It has been a blessing to our family to go here.

Everyone one was beyond friendly and thoughtful. The whole experience was comfortable. The office is beautiful and clean. And I didn’t have to wait long at all. My husband has been seeing Ginger for few years but this was my first visit. He was right; she is great. I was very comfortable and felt she really cared about taking care of me. I got the results of my biopsies the next day with a phone call! My husband and I recommend Family Dermatology to friends!

Went here for the first time a few days ago for my first skin check up and I will say i love this place. The office is nice and the staff are very kind. I highly recommend this place. I have even had coworkers that highly recommend this dermatology office.

Saw Dr. Johr for a full skin check. He was great, he asked lots of questions about what my concerns were and when the check was done he asked if I had questions. He explained everything. He does have a female assistant in the room with him for anyone concerned about that. Loved the office very clean and friendly people.

She also encouraged my suggestions for changes in my treatment and assured me that things will improve. When I went to her for a follow up she was very happy with the improvement and advised me to continue the treatment.
