Tonight 6/5, around 730pm I had the same experience as Sarah who also gave 1-Star, and this after my fifth day in a row going there. I was told by the young short dark haired girl wearing glasses, that and to quote her, "it happens", when I asked why others were getting their drinks, food, ordered after me...and I only had one smoothie, not a big order. I have been patient all time prior, yes in general it is very slow here. It seems one person takes the order, and the orders for everyone in line, while others mingle around the back. Food and smoothies are good but I say for 15 ( almost 20) min waiting on two small kids smoothies as they focused more on to go orders than ppl sitting in restaurant.

As other reviewers have stated, workers focus on call ahead or big food orders. So if you’re going to a smoothie cafe just for a smoothie better head somewhere else or you’ll be stuck there a loooonnngggg time. We live close by and use to go once or twice a week. But now we only go there once every month. Mostly because of the way they rank orders.

Love this place! I've been here 4 times and each time has been great. The people working there are SO nice and make you feel really welcome - simple kindness really goes a long way these days. Hurricane Smoothie - You MUST try this one, it is the best one I've had so far. Mango madness- had this one as well on my last visit. It was very good - little chunks of mango were fun to bit into and gave nice contrast against the overall smoothness

This literally happened 20 min ago- I go in and this guy is taking orders and then it’s my turn and he just turns his back and starts making drinks and the other two employees are ignoring me and making drinks too- didn’t acknowledge me ONCE not a look in my direction, a hello, a “we’ll be there in a second” NOTHING. I’ve been to some disrespectful places but i was so thrown off that I just left and went to a different location. so rude

I visit various Tropical Smoothie locations. I am addicted to their smoothies. Best I have had. I am a super charged member, and will continue to go multiple times a week.

My friend and I went here during our lunch break at school. Since we're only allowed 20 min to leave and get back, we ordered ahead of time at 10:15. We get there at 11 and the line of highschoolers is out the door. Low and behold, our smoothies arent ready. Fast foward 20 min, everyone is gone and we're still waiting (very annoyed). The manager comes up to us and asks us why we're waiting. We show him our digital receipt only to find out that we ordered it to the wrong location. We cancel that order and he tells us he can make our smoothies anyway. BUT we have to write a good google review. So here I am writing a google review. Long story short, Christian really REALLY deserves a raise.

They have a wide variety of smoothies. The two I got were very tasty and ice cold. Perfect for a summer afternoon pick me up.

Very good smoothies and sandwiches! We got our order pretty fast, and we were dine in. I got a smoothie and a sandwich and really enjoyed it, will be back!

Very bad experience at this location. Ordered a smoothie with strawberries and it was bad. No problem went back in and was told that the strawberries were weird and one employee asked another if they had normal strawberries and was told no normal strawberries. I have no idea what that means so I asked for a refund. I was told a manager would need to call me the next day to give me a refund. So I ask do we really need to go through all of that for an $8 refund and they said yes and offered to instead remake the smoothie. I asked will it be better than the first and employee said maybe, a little. So I just want the refund but I realize that right before I ordered a kid from Dominos was in ordering a very large order…. Based on some comments made between the dominos kid and the tropical smoothie employee I could tell that they were making a trade. I really don’t care that they do that but I am bothered by the fact that the tropical smoothie employees are able to ring through a nearly $50 order and somehow can zero it out for a food trade with dominos but do not have the ability to provide a customer with an $8 refund. So anyways, I was promised that Sean the manager would call me the next day. No call, so I finally call and was told that Sean was gone for the day. What a surprise! Anyways I was told that James Bullock is the franchise owner. James if I were you I would tighten that ship or maybe it’s such a goldmine that you don’t care and if so good for you but I wouldn’t return mainly for poor customer service. Anyways I’ll call back again tomorrow and maybe Sean will be there either way I’ll get the transaction voided out on my credit card. All this could have been avoided if I would have just gotten a refund of $8.

The smoothies at this location are consistently good and I haven’t had issues with the service. I usually order online and my smoothie is always ready when I arrive.

I bought 5 smoothies and they only delivered 4. When I called they said they were going to deliver the one that it was still at the store. They never did. The next day they lied saying they delivered it and they even left an apology note when I said that was a lie and I didn't see anybody in the ring camera they said they didn't delivered it and they can't help me.

I love their smoothies, but the parking here is horrible. They have forgotten to give me my edible straws on 2 orders, but their flatbread sandwiches are delicious. They have 2 drive up spots, but people sit in them forever even after they "pick up" their order. I usually order pick up so I run in and grab my order, no one has ever greeted me so I'm not sure if that's a thing here. I would say they are steady busy but not overly.

Smoothies are quick but inconsistent, food takes FOREVER if you order inside, they always find a way to mess up your food, and 9/10 times they will forget your side.

Delivery is not something this store does well. The last delivery I had, was missing my side. Called up to the store and no one picks up. They constantly get delivery orders wrong and no one does anything to help. This will be my last delivery order from them.

For Holly Springs and Apex: I always have a great experience here. The staff is friendly and they never fail to put a smile on my face. Everything looks clean and is made correctly. This is definitely my go-to place to eat.

We ordered pickup via doordash and being vegetarian, we had chosen ‘no bacon’ option for avocado grilled sandwich. But the order was made with bacon in it, and now this is inedible for us. This is a major ignorance from Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s part and it is not acceptable.

After waiting 40 minutes, finishing our sandwiches and watching no less than 5 other parties get served and leave we had still not received our smoothies. After a rough start the manager on duty named Tripp DID in the end show up and show true concern. He apologized sincerely and feel he really cared. His follow up to my wife turned around a really negative situation. I understand them being busy and can accept a long wait. His attitude in the end made it ok.

This location has served me one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. This location has also served me one the worst quesadillas I've ever had... Not sure where the quality went, but usually when you order a quesadilla it is suppose to come with some cheese. I feel like recently they've cut back on the amount of cheese per quesadilla to the point of it being almost non existent. Three stars simply because I am baffled.

GREAT EXPERIENCE WOULD RECCOMEND!!! I went there during lunch when they seemed to be busy and there was a young man named Ethan a the register and he was very kind and helped me get my order and answered all of my questions about there new smoothies. The Smoothies and food were very good and got out to me quickly and the test if the staff seemed very nice The inside of the cafe was also very clean.

Good smoothies but it’s a rip-off if you get the mango smoothie—it’s $1 more presumably because it is SUPPOSED to include an edible lime straw. However for 2 weeks they have been out of line straws and still charge the premium for the smoothies WITHOUT the promised ingredient!

Owners are great! Always trying to go above and beyond to make any problem better. We all know no one or no thing is always perfect but these guys always try their very best. They care about their customers. Highly reccomend.
