Michael Ketter was very helpful and had a no non-sense approach to providing me information and answering my questions without all the normal pressure and games. I found a car I was interested in on Sunday evening (online) and received an out-the-door price via email along with Michael’s contact info first thing Monday morning. I visited the dealership the next day, test drove the car and made the purchase and was in and out in about an hour. I let them know how happy I was with the no-pressure and just helpfulness of their culture. It was so refreshing to have an experience like this when buying a car, and their vehicles were clean and appear to be in very good condition. Just purchased this absolutely gorgeous 2014 mustang with only 56k miles. Everyone was super kind and the process was beyond easy! I highly recommend Apex cars and trucks! !!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!! The staff was very helpful, I stopped in on Saturday about 30 min before closing. Michael, was very nice and helpful. I found a vehicle that I was interested in. They were very knowledgeable with answering any questions that we had. The vehicle was very clean and presentable. We took it for a test drive and came back about 5 min before closing. He was more than willing to stay after closing to help us finish the paperwork. However, I couldn’t ask them to do that. So he took a deposit on the vehicle to hold it and I came back the following Monday and finished all the paperwork. This was the first used vehicle I have purchased, I will definitely go back to Apex car and truck sales when I need another vehicle. Thanks for your hospitality!!

Good inventory and kind owners but leaving feeling pretty jaded. I visited at closing hours on a Saturday and test drove a vehicle. Liked the vehicle and asked to see it on their lift before purchase. Told me the lift wasn't available so I told them I'd be back Monday to check and purchase (closed on Sunday, vehicle in great condition). After the visit, I left a text which said that my wife gave me the go ahead to purchase and reiterated my intent to purchase after seeing it on their lift. I repeated the same thing Monday morning on a voicemail. I would have visited the dealer that morning but I'm a soldier at Fort Bragg and my hours are not very flexible. They know I'm a soldier and did the good ol' TYFYS. A couple hours before driving up to Apex, they text me and tell me the car has been sold. I understand that I did not purchase the vehicle and anyone has the right to purchase it, but it still left a sour taste. Otherwise, seem like good people, but maybe don't expect anything extra - at the end of the day, I guess it all comes down to money.

(Unlike other dealerships who have you meet with manager/finance guys who upsell you and sneak in hidden fees) Apex Car and Truck are straight forward, friendly. I first saw Apex cars and trucks on Facebook. They give you very clear details about their cars which come with a limited warranty. I contacted them from their website and saw they had multiple nice vehicles available. They are very friendly and patient and informative to work with. We drove two and a half hours to Apex to look at their cars. The whole lot was full of nice cars and trucks. All the cars were very clean and detailed beautifully. We bought a 2017 Toyota Camry. We test drove it and it felt like we were driving a brand new car. I have not had many good experiences with used car dealers. But I would highly recommend Apex cars and their salesman for their courtesies and their professionalism. We will definitely return again.

I had a great experience today. We got an excellent deal on a truck for our sales manager and there were no surprise fees like you find at other dealerships. Just sales tax and license plate fee. It's nice to deal with an honest, local company with a long history of servicing the community. I'll definitely be back the next time we have a need.

This was our first experience with Apex Car and Truck. They were suggested to us by our mechanic because the mechanic had never found any concerns with their vehicles during inspection and they only purchase autos that are local/regional, so no issues with salt/snow/major flood damage. The process of purchase and testing the vehicle was uncomplicated and relaxed. They were never pushy and were very straightforward. They explained the history and owner of each vehicle, so I had a lot of background info for my decisions. I appreciated that the only fees charged were tax and title (no documentation or other fees) and that the sticker price was based off Kelly Blue Book. I would purchase from again without hesitation. As I was signing paperwork at my bank to provide the check, the manager came in and wondered where I was getting my car from and after I mentioned ACT, he was so complimentary of them as a good business that I just knew this was the right place to buy a vehicle. I would recommend.

I bought a car a week ago from here and I can't believe how good of an experience it was. Tommy was so nice and really made the process of buying a car painless. We called in a few days before and set up an appointment for a test drive and he was waiting for us at the door when we came in. The car was in better shape than I had thought based on pictures. We test drive the car and told him that we wanted to check on another car but already knew this is where we will be buying from. He went above and beyond to the point of coming back to the office after my husband missed the closing by 15/20 minutes so that he could test drive the 2017 Ram truck he was very interested in purchasing. He drove it, loved it and we went back there the next day to purchase it. I was able to email Michael all the documentation he needed and he had the paperwork ready for me to sign when I came in on my lunch to make the final purchase. Not extremely pleased. Bottom line, they are not very knowledgeable about the cars they sell. Wanted a car they were selling but had to wait a week because they didn’t have the title. Once they had the title, I went and purchased it and was unable to drive off the lot because the car had lights on the dashboard and would not start. How embarrassing is that? The day I spend thousands for a car and can’t drive it because it doesn’t work. They kept it overnight and replaced the battery and alternator. Came back the next day and picked it up and on the drive home, the lights came back on. Took it to the manufacturer dealership and they informed me that parts were replaced with aftermarket parts, thus, it did not fix the issue. So had to spend almost $1k replace the alternator. Purchased the car 2 days ago and it’s been a headache ever since. Wish they would have done a more thorough check of the car and have a little more knowledge on what they are selling to properly prepare the car for the new owners.

I have purchased 2 Chevy Traverses from Apex. Two years ago and again last month. I got $1500 more for my 2010 Traverse than I paid for it. I replaced it with a 2012 Traverse from Apex. I didn’t go there initially, I shop Cars.com, use the car model I want, price range I want, and search within 75 miles of my zip code. I was really surprised the second time to again find the car I needed, great condition, great deal, low mileage at Apex. I looked at 48 cars on line and these guys had THE DEAL! They have great cars and trucks, quality used models. You won’t go wrong shopping here if they have what you want! Ask for Michael!

I went here after many neighbors on NextDoor recommended Mike for cars after I got into a severe accident that totaled my prior car. I saw that he received a 2018 Toyota Corolla in stock right when I received payment from the insurance company. He offered to hold it for me so I could check it out and drive it around. I drove it and a Camry around town to test out which I'd like better! I appreciated that because I had been pressured when I got my prior car from a bigger dealer. Mike was extremely accommodating and waited for me to get my first car loan approved from my credit union, detailed the car perfectly, and will provide plates and floor mats when they ship. I wasn't pressured into any car, and in fact, Mike provided Bill of Sale for both the Camry and Corolla in case I changed my mind. I really appreciate the attention to care, kindness, compassion toward my situation with my accident, and them reserving the car until my credit union came through. I never had such a pressure-free and positive experience at an auto place before, and it is an additional benefit that the quality of the car was explained to me and safety features discussed. I got a great deal and I am very grateful that they could help me through such a tough time in my life as I recover from my accident.
