Horrible customer service. Owner was very rude to me after having my cake ready 2 hours after aggreed upon time. When I asked for a discount or store credit for the cake not being ready on time, I was told there is nothing she could do. The owner did not take responsibility for the mistake and never once offered any apology or show any remorse for thier mistake. They have lost a customer, and the owner could care less. When told that this would be the last cake we order from them, her response was "OKAY". This is the second cake in a year I have ordered from here and at 89 and 108 a cake, I feel the customer service could have been A LOT better. The excuse I recieved the first time I went to pick up my cake at 12pm when I arrived to pick up the cake was the orginal form said 12, but the form they were working off of said 2. When I arrived the second time to pick up my cake I was told the again and shown the form that it said 2 with the 12 scribbled out and that they has 2 orders with the same name. Cake is good, not worth the price, but there are not a lot of places you can get a cake with cannoli filling.

Great experience! Highly recommend! Kimberly was wonderful to work with and delivered exactly what I was looking for. These beautiful custom cookies (they were delicious too!) and this 12 inch 4 layer cake made exactly as I described. They were a hit at our engagement party. These days it's hard to find a business you can depend on with this level of quality and attention to detail. Very reasonably priced too!

Absolutely NOT a taste of Brooklyn! This 6" over-priced, over-baked vanilla (supposedly lemon?!) cake my husband bought to surprise me was indeed a surprise -- but for all the wrong reasons. The fact of the matter is that less expensive better quality cakes are available at Amazon-owned Whole Foods. In all fairness, whomever "finished" the cake made it look like a million bucks. But. Insofar as quality as it pertains to both ingredients and baking, this cake falls miserably short. It breaks my heart for this bakery to misrepresent the fine confections of Brooklyn.

Not only was did these amazing bakers/ decorators knock this cake out of the park, their customer service was amazing as well. This cake was not only gorgeous, it tasted incredible too. Almost too beautiful, we didnt want to cut into it. My daughter was so excited to have such an amazing kitty cat cake! I will be ordering more cakes in the future as well! Thank you ladies for the BEST cat cake EVER!

Couldn't tell you how the cake is. Gotta laughed at when asked about ordering a cake for the morning. 🤷 Update: Don't try to misrepresent this. I asked about a next day order. Not a same day. A simple "sorry but we are booked up" would have sufficed. But I really shouldn't be surprised by the lack of professionalism if this is how you respond at this point.

I love Rainbow Cookies. And I've tried them at many different places, including Brooklyn, NY (where the hubby is from). But the Rainbow Cookies from A Taste of Brooklyn are the BEST I've ever had. They are light and airy, not too sweet, but BURSTING with flavor. Absolutely wonderful! The Black and White Cookies are also fabulous! They are cake-like, the chocolate frosting is dee-lish and the vanilla icing enhances the lemon cookie flavor. This place is a must go! As an Apexian, I love it! The Peak of Good Sweets!

Absolutely love their cakes and cupcakes. I wanted one slice of cake for my birthday and I couldn’t find anyone with a decent sized sliced. This place had the perfect size with an assortment of flavors.

This is the only bakery I will go to!!!! I lived my whole life in NY and every time I go visit I have to go to a bakery to get cookies. Ever since I started coming here , I can’t go to NY bakeries anymore bc she makes them sooooo much better !!! Amazing service , amazing cakes, cupcakes and cookies !! I won’t go anywhere else ever again !

I had to take a trip somewhat west of where I live (Nash Cty), so I decided to check Google to see what time the bakery is open on Sundays. It stated 11am. Our errand was quick and we were early, so we waited the hour for them to open. In tow, my daughter, my son with autism and my elderly dad. We arrived at 11:16 and the sign on the door confirms they’re open at 11 on Sunday. Try the door. Locked. Woman sitting inside ignoring people trying to enter. You know, I’ve spent $70 easily in that bakery and wasn’t particularly thrilled with the customer service previously, but this takes the cake (pun intended). All set! I’ll order baked goods from up north and ship overnight from now on. What a shame.

Great sweets by a sweet staff at a reasonable price. Be mindful and plan ahead for custom cakes, It’s not public’s.

I didnt need another vice in my life, but after trying the lemon and the strawberry cupcakes, I've found another. This place is legit.

Disappointed. Old & Dry Cookies. I was soo excited to try the cherry almond and butter cookies but, they had little to no flavor and so incredibly dry. You could tell the cookies were not fresh.

I just walked out with the most delicious sfogliatella (lobster tail) I’ve eaten in YEARS. It was fresh out of the oven and the joy it brought to me is indescribable. Plus everyone is so kind.

I absolutely love this bakery, the cakes are made fresh and absolutely stunning, I live in Louisburg and they're located in Apex so the drive there is over an hour away for me but it is ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY worth the drive. My birthday cake is beautiful and better than the picture I sent from Google. I am in absolute awe in how gorgeous my birthday cake turned out. Thank you so much ladies! I definitely recommend this bakery to anyone celebrating a special day or you just want goodies, everything is wonderful. I will be back!

They have the most decadent cakes ever. My favorite is the cookie monster cake slices. There service is amazing and the owner is super sweet. So sad i moved to the West coast, i will truly miss your cakes.

I'm here far more often than I should be; the cakes are annoyingly, hypnotically good. The owner and staff are always unfailingly friendly and gracious, even if they are trying to fatten me up. :)

I cannot recommend this bakery enough. I have now returned four times, twice for custom cakes for my wife. With custom orders, the crew is attentive to customer needs and allergies. Additionally, they will make any crazy idea you may have come to life on a cake. With display items, they taste fresh and delicious, including tiramisu, cookies, cookie sandwiches, and cupcakes. Looking forward to my next visit!

This bakery is the best around! The owner, Kimberly, is so wonderful, accommodating, and an excellent communicator. Her bakery is responsible for the recent success of a friend's 30th birthday because of the AWESOME mermaid cupcakes prepared custom for me 🧁 🥳 Not only were they creatively decorative, but decadently delicious! Everyone was impressed. When I arrived to pick up my order there were other cute desserts for sale that I would have indulged to buy had I more time that evening. Awesome bakery!! We visited from Florida and ended up coming two days in a row. The chocolate chip cookies were to die for and the macarons were amazing as well. The staff was welcoming and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back soon!

So easy to work with from start to finish! Easy to communicate with and incredibly responsive through Facebook. I sent photos of the cake I was wanting for my sons birthday and they made exactly what I wanted, and it tasted delicious too!! We did the strawberry filling and it was perfect for a summer birthday party. Will definitely be back for more!
