Do not let the intimidating, downward gravel drive put you off of visiting Forest Cafe - it's setting within a forest that boasts a waterfall make this a hidden gem. This is some seriously delicious home style food that will set you up for a full day of exploring the ever beautiful Samoa if that is what you seek. I had the 'American' Breakfast and Pancakes with bacon to share, and while that might sound mediocre it was incredibly delicious and so clearly cooked with love (I only have a photo of the pancakes because I devoured my breakfast faster than i anticipated). Chanel was warm, inviting and friendly, so much so it felt like I had returned to Mum's for Sunday brunch. Enjoy!!

This slice of paradise was so beautiful 😍 stunning spot, cheap food and so good!! Nice portions, absolutely lovely staff. The road is dodgy but worth the bumpy trip! It is cash only though 😄

It's a long way off the main road but it's worth the trip. Hospitality was great and view was stunning. Food was also good. I would recommend 👌

Really good food at a reasonable price. Don't let the sketchy gravel road turn you away, the food is really good and the view of the rainforest is great. Piece of advice, if the black chalk board that's says Forest cafe open isn't on the intersection with Cross Island Rd. It isn't open.

Very nice food, pretty setting. The road is rough but you don't need a 4x4, although something with reasonable clearance would be helpful. I had a delicious vegetarian omelette.

It wasn’t easy to find but so glad we did. The cafe is set in a 5 acre privately owned property surrounded by forest with the sounds of a waterfall and running water in the background. It’s not the easiest of places to find but if coming over the crossroads heading to Apia town it’s not far after the Bai Hai temple, though the small sign could only be seen if coming from Apia town. The food here was extremely tasty! Two of us had crispy chicken wrap, which was quite big, the toasted tuna sandwich and chicken panini were also very tasty. We decided to have desserts which were huge! The meals were really good value. We’d definitely recommend eating here.

My sister and I were visiting family in Apia and our aunt took us to this breathtaking gem with stunning views. The cafe is not visible from the road so a passerby unfamiliar with the area might not see the sign by the road. If visiting Apia and looking for spectacular views, relaxing atmosphere, excellent service, and expertly prepared food, I highly recommend adding Open Forest Cafe to your itinerary. My favorite was the lemon cheesecake and pudding but I also loved their latte and omelette. Also, the beautiful chef and owner Channel was kind enough to take a photo with us.
