This is the place to have some really good Italian food! Their menu is wide enough to suit anyone's pallet. The dishes are very delicious! Presentation is nice. The environment is warm and inviting. You really can't ask for much better of an establishment. The staff is also very good at their jobs seems to be well trained and very friendly. All around great place to spend the evening and you should go try this place out for yourself.

Tried Mama Carpino’s last night and I was delighted. The place looks so inviting, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food are amazingly delicious 😋. Everything was just perfect. Overall, I love this place and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you to all the staff and crew for all the amazing service🙏👏👏👏.

Visiting the high desert, it's been about 17 yrs since I last ate at Mama Carpino's the building has changed a little bit but the food 🥰 is still AMAZING 😋 we started off with fresh warm bread & balsamic vinaigan oil for dipping, followed by the best homemade chicken noodle and minestrone soup. Then the main courses came.... Lasagne with meat sauce 😋🤤 and Angel hair pasta with 2 large meatballs and meat sauce. Had to take 1/2 my lasagna home 🤩. Bread, Soup, Lasagna I'm FULL❣️ Then she brang the yummy dessert tray but I had to pass. Plenty of park in back. Handicap friendly Out door setting with heat lamps. Fresh deli meats & cheese to take home. Large family bathrooms Large sit down bar Great place for birthday party or the special date night ❣️ Just off Hwy 18 Apple Valley

Lately due to medical reasons I've been resorting to take out to feed my family and myself. And it's been a hit and miss process and throughout the last 8 months I have been craving pasta. I have tried every place in the entire high desert with everything failing to please not that they were all terrible it's just that nothing really made me feel great about spending the money and I just felt like gosh I wish I was in better health so I could just stand in the kitchen and cook myself. I tried a couple times to go to this restaurant and eat inside but it was so busy and the wait was so long that I ended up going elsewhere so finally I called my order in and I drove over and picked it up and let me tell you it was so good and so satisfying that it almost made me cry. I know that sounds ridiculous but I've had such a difficult time being able to eat and not only was I able to really enjoy my dinner but it was absolutely delicious. And even my children who are a little on the finicky side or very impressed and agreed with me that it was really really good. We ordered traditional spaghetti with meat sauce and I swapped out Italian sausage instead of the meatballs, the sausage filled cannellini with Italian sausage and the meat sauce and antipasto salad. I also ordered a variety of desserts and cookies. The spaghetti was the best spaghetti that I've had in probably 30 years since I ate at the portofino restaurant in Torrance California. The sausage was wonderful the sauce everything... I spent about a half hour reading all the reviews before I decided to call in the order because it's not cheap. There were a couple of people that had complaints but they're always are. And I'm telling you as someone who usually cooks and feels like they're an accomplished chef I absolutely love this restaurant. This is it for me the spaghetti is going to be my Friday night treat for quite some time. I'm extremely happy that I decided to phone in the order tonight and I can't wait to try the rest of the stuff on the menu. And the desserts were great the cookies absolutely spectacular!

The watermelon Mojito was amazing, and the crabcakes were so freshly homemade . My apologies I did forget the waiter name, but he was very polite. His customer service was excellent. My husband didn’t care too much for the meatball sandwich. I guess it needed more salt to his liking. The shrimp and scallop pasta was very good. I never had that type of sauce so it was different but tasty.

I have never had Italian food like the one I ate at this place. I felt like I was one step closer to Italy. I loved it and so did my family. We will definitely be going back. The drive is so worth it considering that we live in LA. Our waitress was amazing she was very sweet.

If you like Italian food this is the spot.. I've never been to Italy lol but compared to Olive Garden or any other italian food I've tasted, this is the best I've had in the high desert or anywhere else!! They also have italian desserts and an assortment of flavors of gelato. The restaurant decor is very beautiful and the seating is comfortable ... A very nice dining area and a fireplace in an outside patio at the back of the restaurant is a very nice touch!! You're the best Mama Carpinos 👍😋

Finally tried this place for sibling's birthday and gotta say the place was so cute to be in~ They recently renovated, I believe, but it was such a quaint area to be in. Their waitress was sweet and nice. They checked on us from time to time, making sure everything was OK, but not too often so that we could dine on our meals for a while. The portion sizes were really sizeable that you could just order an appetizer or two and just be full from that along with their complimentary bread! I would definitely come back to eat their Alfredo and want to try their gelato, but we were too full from the bruschetta, zucchini, mozzarella sticks, mama's platter, and soups. There are so many leftovers, but it's worth it. Took some desserts home, but when the waitress showed the dessert sample platter, I wanted to order one of each from how they looked and sounded, so beware of that! :P . Edit April 22nd, 2023: I ate here for dinner with fam again, and the service and food was once again fantastic. We couldn't finish our main course, but at least we got some good leftovers!

We came out at the recommendation of a co-worker, and it did not disappoint. Tracy was our server, and she was so kind a knowledgeable. The food tasted fresh. We started with fried green beans and Alfredo stick. That could have been a meal themselves. We had the chicken parmesean and steak medallions. Finished with a salted Carmel cake.

Great place for good, traditional Italian food! Brittany, our server, was fantastic. Friendly, professional, and on it. As well as the rest of the staff.. all are professionally dressed.. had very enjoyable meal.

What a nice little gem hidden in the high desert. They have a decent selection of beer on tap to fit any mood you're in. I am a creature of habit and was about to get spaghetti before I asked for a recommendation. The Penne Alla vodka was AMAZING. The sauce was delicious and I wish they sold it in jars. I was surprised with how good the pizza was. It has a perfect crisp and the crust was perfect in my opinion.

First time here, and hubby and I loved it. The Appetizers platter was delicious and had to take it to go because it was a lot for the two of us. The food was really good. Sadly, we didn't try dessert because we were full next time we will sure try dessert.

Have not been here in over a year, I like what they have done with the place they have upgraded a lot. The menu has changed but they still serve Some of the same things. The wait was not very long. I tried some new things tonight and all was delicious. Their cauliflower pizza Was really good. I also had a chicken sausage coos coos., With pesto sauce. That was really good as well.

Hands down, my favorite Italian food spot by far! Everything I have ordered here has been delicious. Very well designed in the inside for dates or business meetings. Love this place.

The food here is to die for! Not even exaggerating. If there's a wait (usually there is, because they're soo good) it's 100% worth it. I live in AZ but every time I come to Cali, this is my favorite spot. If you like Italian food, you'll fall in love with this place. I could have horrible service (never do) but once that food hits my mouth... Only good things happen after... I honestly recommend this place to everyone! HOWEVER, with that being said... I'm not sure what the history is behind the complimentary herb bread served with oil and vinegar... But that is the only thing there that I cannot enjoy. I have tried masking the rosemary, I'm assuming, with the vinegar but no. That's just a no for me... It's like perfume bread. A Sourdough focaccia bread though 🤌.... Food for thought.. I still love this place entirely, despite the perfume bread.

We had a wedding reception here and the food and atmosphere were both amazing. The service was excellent. Many guests loved it so much that they said they will definitely go back to enjoy it again..

Mama Carpino's was established in 2003. In Applevalley. Serving Italian cuisine. They have a lunch menu with smaller portions than their dinner selections. The interior of the restaurant is both modern and spacious. The staff is prompt and attentive. Entrées are served hot and are plentiful. The price point is $$$.

Mama Carpino's has a wonderful environment. The service was amazing. The food was out of this world you have to try the Egg Plant Parmesan with spaghetti It was so delicious. Then the minestrone soup was so tasty. The salad had fresh vegetables. Great place.
