Katie was amazing is an amazing server!! I She has made our time here extremely fun! She’s w phenomenal employee! I highly recommend everyone who wants to have a good time to come and visit D 2 sports club. People are fun, and the live music is outstanding. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Great atmosphere and tremendous staff!

The drinks there were better downstairs than upstairs..larger and better quality. I noticed after a very short time they started overcharging for drinks thinking people were too drunk to notice....not cool.... i also had wings there that were really good and ok price. But again with the taking of cash they saw on the counter and making mistakes with the amounts. . Clean overall girls were nice but all the guys were kinda jerks. Wont go there again.

I went to a convention up in Appleton, and for dinner, I wanted a reasonably priced dinner. I was walking, and I saw the Perch sandwich special for $10. I continued to walk to see if any other place had anything listed, but I saw nothing else. I turned around and walked in to order the best fish sandwich ever. I was very pleased at the price and the amount of food that I got.

Good amount of food, busy but it is on the Ave. Overall friendly service and good times.

The cleanest bar I have ever been too! I never have to wait long for a drink. Super fast bartenders. Safety is a priority, and I always have a great time.

Totally forgot to take a picture of our food just because we ate it so fast, but everything was very good and the bartender was fantastic. We went in around 3 and both my partner and I got elk burgers, I got truffle fries and he got maple bacon fries and it was all so good. I asked the bartender for a random fruity drink and she brought me something very tasty that matched my hair color [green] and that absolutely delighted me. I don't go to bars often but I will definitely come back here

My boyfriend and I visited D2 after attending the Packers vs Cowboys game. This was our first time visiting Wisconsin. My boyfriend was excited for the win and wanted to go to D2 to grab some food. We went to the bar and my boyfriend was excited to eat and clapped his hands in excitement and the bartender snapped at him. The bartender was extremely rude and told my boyfriend that he doesn't clap at him. He indeed wasn't even clapping at him at all. Now everyone in the bar is looking at us because the bartender made a whole scene, not to mention we were the only African Americans in the bar. My boyfriend then asks the bartender if he could order some food and, his response was maybe I will serve will or maybe I won't. The way we were treated is totally unacceptable. No one should have to deal with that type of treatment. There were several other people who saw the whole incident and actually apologized for the way this bartender treated us. We ended up leaving and going to another bar.

Food was good bar food, burgers and such. Really big inside. Looks like they have an upstairs, it wasn't open while we were there in the afternoon.

It's s big place with a dance floor upstairs. The bartender seemed like he hated life but was quick and efficient. Just had drinks so I have nothing to report on their food. Lots of tables, lots of bar seats. Bathrooms were reasonably clean.

Had high hopes for this place. Always drive past and thought it looked like a neat place to hang out. So the wife and I went there to meet another couple and went to sit outside. The girl that was behind the bar outside was very unkind (1-25-23 @ about 7:30pm, don’t know her name). Went up to the bar and she didn’t even say hello or anything and just asked what we wanted. No smile. She seemed pretty miserable being there. We felt as though we were bothering her by ordering a drink. However, the other guys behind the bar seemed kind. Walking out it smelt like weed inside which was another huge turn off. I don’t foresee us going back. It’s too bad. Awesome hang out area outside but service is everything. Drink selection was just ok. I expected more of a selection when it came to specialty drinks considering the outdoor area. So that was a little bit of a disappointment as well.

After years of waiting to get into this bar, I’ve finally been able to experience what all the hype was about. They’ve got a nice enough indoor bar, but the outdoor is the perfect social spot, with gas fires on the tables and sofas to chill back on. The bartenders are great people, and they’ve got a plethora of tvs to watch all your favorite sports shows too. It’s a great bar and definitely worth checking out.

Awesome venue downtown Appleton! They have indoor and outdoor seating - plenty of it - good music - decent prices on beer - a great happy hour from 3-6pm on specific days - and nice service!

The service was great and the appetizer platter was pretty good. I wish it had been nicer out so we could have enjoyed the patio!

This bar isnt a place where I would usually go but I will say the customer service from the bartenders and staff definitely makes it a fun experience for all aged adults. Every bartender was slammed and they were still providing amazing service with a smile. Super social atmosphere and a ton of good vibes. Jordan and the Manager were amazing. Thanks for providing a such welcoming/fun experience for me and my friends. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.

I can't say I was super impressed with the service. We sat down and the guy came over and asked us what we wanted to drink I said I will start with water because I was not sure . He brought us our drinks (water for me) beer for my husband. He never came back to serve us. It was not super busy I think a total of 7 people including us. There was a shift change and the guy went right on his phone and never came over. They had a guy singing and that cleared out the bar. Even with an almost empty bar the new bartender never came over we had to politely wave him over for the check so we could leave. Somehow we felt like we were bothering him by being there. For 2 taco salads and 2 drinks was $39 and the bartender made us feel like we were an inconvenience to him. Definitely felt like we were unwelcomed here. Taco salads came out cold and never once checked on us

Wanted to love for an eclectic mix of music upstairs but turns out it wasn’t kitschy or eclectic, it’s just all the DJ has had to work with since the mid-2000s and had zero flexibility in his *solid* lineup. Only a punk@ss, insecure, inexperienced DJ can’t mix new songs into his lineup or take requests. Give me a break. Total deadzone. Get a new DJ. #wisconsinSOwhite

Downtown Appleton's best spot for drunk dancing whether it's inside or out, they do bump up their prices when big events are happening downtown but I think it's worth it

The bartender was more interested in talking to her friends and taking shots with her friends than tending to anyone else. She made eye contact but didn’t even come over. She just kept talking. Never had an issue until tonight. She didn’t care about anyone else in the bar besides her locals and friends. I held money in the air and she locked eyes with us but never came over. We were there for over 2 hours and only got 2 drinks because she didn’t pay any attention to anyone else besides her friends. There was A big group of people who left because she wouldn’t serve anyone unless she was taking shots with her locals/ friends. Never had an issue until tonight. It was not nice and very selfish if the bartender cares more about her friends than anyone else in the bar. Bad service tonight even though she noticed us, didn’t even come back and check on us. This was the worst service we’ve ever had there. I do not recommend. I know you have friends and locals but to the point where you don’t serve anyone else or even come around to check on anyone and to the point where people left because they couldn’t get any service is just plain ridiculous. We had to go to the outside bar just to get a drink.

Overpriced drinks, rough crowd and some dishonest staff members (they’ll add drinks to your bill that you never ordered) I caught it before I paid and thankfully it was fixed, but that was not ok and I won’t be back.

We came to D2, waited patiently for drinks. We tried ordering, he refused to serve us and continued to serve other patrions who were already served . When we were leaving bartender told one of our group members that he was relieved we were leaving. Bad service and had no appreciation for us.

I'm a "Friday Fish Fry" guy and I just had the pearch at D2. It was EXCELLENT!! The service and sides were terrific as well! I'll be back soon!

This place is banging! Both DJs upstairs and down were great. We were in town for a bachelor party and some locals told us about it. Great time

We always come to D2 when we're in the area for a night if dancing. The DJs always play stuff that everyone can get down to and the crowds are always high energy. Cheap drinks, nice staff, clean bathrooms - overall pretty great!

Cool vibe. Nice people. Great outdoor patio seating. Mac and Cheese Burger is delicious.

The bartender was excellent she also works in my favorite gas stations (Kwik trips) I'll definitely go back again great service great smile and pretty damn good food.

Chris, not sure what you’re talking about. I was up and down the Ave all night and was in and out of D2’s several times and was never charged or saw anyone charged a cover. I had a great time there.

My daughter was visiting the area this past weekend with friends and attended this establishment. She did not feel safe or welcomed here as an African American woman. She mentioned that there was a blue lives matter flag present, which historically police generated from slave catching, this is a known fact. In addition, there was a male bartender that ignore her and her other friends (all whom are people of color) when they were trying to close out their tab. He did not acknowledge them and just waved them off. To add to the matter, multiple people made racial slurs and gestures at her. When she informed the staff they ignored her concern and safety. Overall, we would not recommend anyone to attend this establishment. Her and her friends did not feel safe and honestly I don't think any of them or our family will be visiting the city soon. I am extremely disappointed, but not surprised.

Had such a great time with the waitress and bartender. So personable and funny! We were a party of 4 - in town to see WICKED (and we were the only people in the bar at the time) but had such a blast for the short time we were there! Awesome food and drinks!! Will go back during our next stay!!

D2 Sports Pub is not just an ordinary pub in Appleton Wisconsin. They are one of a kind and unique in their own way. The staff treats each customer that walks through their doors like family. The current operating manager, Brent, goes out above and beyond to make sure that you have an experience that makes you want to come back every time you are in town. D2 has an atmosphere for everyone. From house music to country music, you will find something you like. I 10/10 recommend stopping in here to have a good mixer after work or a fun night out with your pals. Don't forget they also have a great food menu with many options as well. Their kitchen staff cooks to impress and they always do. Overall, you can't go wrong stopping at D2!
