Just
after
we
walked
in,
the
bartender
did
everything
she
could
do
to
make
us
feel
welcome
and
pointed
out
where
there
were
available
seats
at
the
bar
and
took
our
order
promptly,
she
is
a
class
act
an
was
very
gracious.
However,
that's
where
things
went
sour.
The
music
being
played
is
not
in
any
way
what
I
prefer
to
hear.
I
asked
a
couple
next
to
us
if
it
was
the
only
type
played
in
the
bar,
and
they
sadly
said
yes,
but
they
mentioned
an
app
I
could
use
to
play
what
I
wanted.
I
did
so
and
did
get
to
hear
my
"two"
songs,
then
it
went
back
to
what
it
was.
I
then
did
it
again,
just
two
songs.
and
the
same
and
didn't
get
to
hear
more
songs
that
I
selected
using
the
app.
The
bottom
line
is
that
the
company
that
put
the
mandated
sound
systems
in
all
the
local
establishments
have
ruined
going
out.
Seems
every
single
bar
in
the
area
"must"
have
this
system
in
the
bars
and
have
absolutely
no
control
over
it.
An
owner
of
a
bar
can
not
run
it
with
the
music
they
want
it
to
have
and
draw
the
clients
they
want,
it's
controlled
by
a
corporation
that
takes
over
what
and
why
they
opened
a
bar
in
the
first
place.
Something
else
I
noticed
about
the
place
is
that
years
ago,
a
bartender
was
there
by
the
name
of
John.
Sadly,
he
was
taken
by
cancer
He
was
a
great
guy,extremely
easy
to
get
along
with,
and
everyone
liked
him.
After
the
bar
got
remodeled,
there
was
a
huge
picture
of
him
behind
the
bar
on
the
wall,
playing
homage
to
his
memory.
It
is
gone
only
to
be
replaced
with
TVS.
I
was
told
it
is
still
in
the
bar,
and
I
didn't
see
where.
I
was
really
disappointed
that
his
picture
was
moved
to
put
TVS
on
the
wall
instead.
The
Maritime
"was"
an
Icon
of
a
bar
that
stood
out
among
all
others.
Now,
it
has
become
just
another
bar
getting
lost
in
the
mediocre
mix
of
all
other
places
to
go
out.
