A comfortable but unspectacular mid range hotel. Nice big rooms with views over the Red Sea from the top floors. Ideal for a a one or two night stay max. You get access to the nearby beach club for 15JD. Reception staff not very knowledgable about local amenities. We had to do all our own research about snorkelling trips. A 20 minute walk into the Yacht club on the seafront where there are a number of nice restaurants.

Overall cleanliness is not up to par, and the food is not very good.

Very stylish and fine hotel in Aqaba. Very friendly staff, quiet rooms with either pool or city view. Every room has a balcony. If you want to go to the beach you can walk there in about 25 Minutes, since the hotel is located a few blocks behind the waterfront which is mainly reserved by the big hotels like Kempinsky or Intercontinental.

We had an amazing stay and were well looked after. Great location with access to downtown, Ayala and Beach House for the beach. Nice to have the free shuttle.

Have had three days here just before beginning if the season. Room a little chilly and the pool too cold to swim. However the food was good through out our stay. Everyone very polite but some with language barrier. Dancer in the evening was great entertainment along with the two musicians first. No draft beer but again not quite in season. Have a lovely stay.

We stayed there for 1 night since our flight for cancelled. I loved staff and decorations! Pretty beautiful and stylish hotel (I can imagine how it looked like when it was new). We got delicious dinner and super early breakfast. I tried only dinner. We could find there everything for balanced and healthy food for whole plant based people! Hummus and other Arabic cold mezze, nuts, vegetables, fruits in some salads, a lot of salads and so on. Bed was so big and comfortable. Sauna was available. As well free shuttle bus to the city center and back. Thank you for our great staying there!

Great stay, customer service fantastic. Only shame was that there were cakes in the room on arrival (I know not a shame for most!) but we are vegan and so it was a waste of animal products. Also lack of non-dairy options at breakfast (no non-dairy milk for tea/coffee and had to have dry toast!)

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and really enjoyed it here. Everyone was very nice and kind. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. They had a jacuzzi, pool, family pool, sauna, and gym, so lots to do. There were even birds that our young son could visit. It is right across from the Fountain mall, so it was very convenient. It was also very close to Ayla, a high-end shopping village and marina. Would definitely come back!

Rashad at the desk was extremely helpful; above and beyond our expectations. Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the pool and was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't at all crowded. Room staff very friendly. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. It would be nice if coffee and water were free with supper.

Rooms had every amenity needed, constant hot water and decent location. It was a 20 minute trek into the rest of Aqaba so if you like walking it's great. That shouldn't discourage others as taxis are everywhere and aggressively try to gain your business. When going for breakfast and dinner I was most disappointed that not all place settings were made equal. Sometimes I would have to take a coffee cup from another table because I didn't have one or they would not replace the forks and knives at a table when someone go up. I asked for a coke before I sat down and it didn't come until I finished my meal.

Very relaxing experience, comfortable room with Ayla view, over than average room size, all needed amenities and high standard of cleanliness. The hotel has all needed facilities from swimming pool to spa and open lobby, restaurants and laundry. We had a breakfast at the main dining room, all types of breakfast buffet were available, salads, bakery, traditional Arabic breakfast and the international continental as well, many alternative of drinks and juices plus omelet station. Service was v. fast many staff around. All staff and management where friendly they give you the feeling that they are welling to assist with warm personal touch. Had a nice experience although in the begining we faced some problems. Thanks to the sales manager and to the restaurant manager we were able to enjoy the stay, a short one this time but definitely we will repeat the experience. Great food regarding the dinner we has, also very good breakfast buffet. Im surprised how this hotel is 5 stars, I would say 3 stars is enough for it. Really hot rooms, old furniture and the booking manager was very rude with us. The outside temperature was 28 and they didn’t agree to turn on the AC saying it is a winter season although the room temperature was 25 and felt like boiling inside. Aqaba is an amazing place to visit but Oryx hotel is a bad place to stay in.

I have to say, the amount of generosity and hospitality which I found at this hotel was unmatched by any other hotel I accommodated in any part of the world, from 5 stars hotels to Airbnb. The staff is extremely friendly to an extend that I couldn’t believe I was in Jordan. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is excellent and has a great variety of things. Best of luck.

The price is reasonable, the staff are so friendly, and the hotel room is neat and clean 🥰🥰 i would recommend the hotel !

The hotel and rooms were clean and nice food. The only problem was the hot tub was not hot and we had to go to nearby beach club to enjoy private beach and spa fasciitis for which we had to pay. Ahmad at hotel was very helpful as he helped us to book a sunset cruise and informed us about Ayala hotel complex with nice restaurants and lovely marina view.

It’s a very beautiful hotel. The location is perfect. The facilities superb, the pool area and the sea view magnificent. Also, all the staff are very professional and super friendly and they’re constantly checking if you need anything. Fatima, the lady in red was excellent and helped us arranging tours and provided very helpful information. And the staff in the restaurants are absolutely fantastic! The Crust team: Manager Joe, Ritchelle, Elena, Rachel, Geramel, Khann, Noor, and Benelyn. I hope I’m not forgetting the name of anyone because they are very special.
