An iconic place in Sampa, it is already 60 years old, as it was opened in 1962. It appeared in the series "Manhãs de Setembro" on Liniker, where Ney Matogrosso was the owner of one of the many vinyl record stores for which the gallery is best known. With two floors of stores, it creates a passage between Barão de Itapetininga and 7 de Abril streets. It has an office block and a residential block, and a beautiful view of the Municipal Theater from the first floor, where the murals by artist Bramante Buffoni are located. There are benches to sit on, but unfortunately no cafe taking advantage of the beautiful view, and also a highly recommended afro salon. A universe of its own to discover.

Resisting over the years, today's catalogs are quite diverse, with prices rising up to R$3,000, depending on the rarity of the piece. It is also possible to find some LPs by current pop bands and singers, but the focus never leaves the older titles. The historic value of Galeria Nova Barão makes the tour interesting for anyone who loves music, whether old or young. Also, prepare your wallet: once there, it's difficult not to want to buy a record player and start your own vinyl collection.

Conheço essa galeria desde os anos 1970, à época havia lojas requintadas hoje sofre com a decadência e deterioração que ocorre no centro de São Paulo. Na fachada há uma bonita obra do artista italiano Buffoni.

Muitas lojas com variedade de peodutos. Mas o que mais me atrai sâo as lojas de discos de vinil e o sebo!!! Amoooo ir la para garimpar!

Iconic place, clean, beautiful, safe too, the Gallery has several shops and cafes!! I recommend you visit, on the top floor you have an incredible view of the Municipal Theater! It's really nice to walk there, there's a wonderful cafe!! The nearest metro station is Anhangabaú on red Line 3
