Park Playground

👍👍 The park is a good place too bring your kids and let them play on the playground. They have a variety of things that the kids can do. Plus there is a walking trail, there is one that is around the whole park, which is about two miles. Then there is the other that is a little over a half mile. And... People often mention park, kids, Christmas,

And you can let your animals walk on one of them ad well. You can have birthday parties or any kind of party. They have Christmas in the park from Thanksgiving untill Christmas. With almost 2million lights. And historic park with pictures with Santa. What else can I say!!

This is a beautiful family playground! There is a large playground for older kids and a smaller separate playground for younger children. Also a small covered awning type outdoor area can be rented that has picnic tables. There is a landscaped walking trail and during the Christmas holidays the trail is lit with Christmas lights and decorated trees. The whole park turns into a family event! Santa is in the park and available for kids to visit in the month of December. There are several ball fields. There is a clean restroom facility. Make sure to visit the historic buildings at the back of the trail. There is a pool that you can pay to swim and a water pad area for kids. Come prepared to spend a few hours and bring your swimsuit or your walking shoes!

Always a pretty place to go let the kids play. The pavilion could use some work on the tables.

This is one of my favorite places to go for Christmas lights. The historic village is lovely. The volunteers that run the place are wonderful. To walk around the park is free. The historic village charges a small fee, but it is well worth. Don't miss the old church where they sing carols. This is one of our families Christmas traditions.

The playground and walking trail are great. There’s a few bumpy places where the tree roots have been growing. Only real complaint is the restroom. They are as clean as can be expected, but don’t necessarily get the attention they need. Upon last visit, the sink in the bathroom did not work.
