The booking at this resort (or rather would call it a cheap lodge) was one of our huge mistake made in our distant memory. Whenever we book at stay at any small or big resort or for that matter any decent hotel below are few things we expect bare minimum; 1. Hot Water for Shower 2. Clean cockroaches free bedding 3. Working Fan (AC if opted for AC room) 4. Polite management To our surprise non of the above expectations (or rather would call is obligations from the resort or hotel) were fulfilled. The local staff of the hotel was helpless as the problem is with the owner Mr. Pankaj who is very rude, threatening and kind of a local goon. When we requested for hot water for bath we were told that solar was not functioning due to cloudy weather and we do not have alternate provision for heating (this means no hot water when there is not enough sunlight). We called the owner and he was rude and theratning and ask us to do whatever we want have to live with what's there else move to a 5 star facility. We also asked us to refund the amount for remaining 3 days as there was no mention of HOT water being non available during non sunny days. Even the request to give hot water by boiling it on gas was outright denied. The rooms were full of cockroaches which were there deep inside the bedding, duvet and pillow provided to us. We had to ensure that we have removed all the cockroaches before using them. The reason given for that was since the cabins were wooden (leaking in some places) cockroaches will be there. All the bathroom taps were old and leaking with no water drain out for bathroom which lead to temporary flooding of bath water. AC/FAN not working - reason was its rainy season ands they are broken. Food was costly so should be avoided (Tea -50 Rs). We did escalate this issue to MakeMytrip but didn't receive any call back or help from them. So even MakeMytrip is least bothered once they get their money. ITS BETTER TO BOOK A CHEAP (200 RS a day) LODEGE THAN JP RESORT. Also the place is 600 to 700 meters from the beach and min 25 km away from Goa attractions.

Really it's a peaceful place. Well maintained and rooms are clean. Pool is there. It suits only for kids. Restaurant is there along with the bar. Charging 2500 rps for Deluxe room per 2 adults and child. We went with three people so charged 700 for an extra mattress. Overall a nice experience and recommended for families.

Folks - Please do not be fooled by the pics of this place. In short, all that glitters is not Gold. When you call the Hotel for the booking, especially the Owner will talk to you as if the true meaning to the word ‘Courtesy’ is not whats in the dictionary but what he exercises as if its his inherent nature. The extent of politeness, friendliness and sweet talk this person will showcase will most definitely question your own such traits being mediocre and not par excellence. You will also get a feeling that… I should have studied in the same school as his and if you are drunk you would want the Owner to adopt you 🥴. Oops… Mum if you are reading this.. sorry for all the rant… I am only yours 🤗 Now coming back to THE EXPERIENCE… Yeah? We enter the property and the rooms were not what it seemed in the pics or for that matter how the Owner described through his soothing voice laced with Honey that can even melt your heart🫨. Ayyo Rama… The rooms were so shabby that I knew Sabby wouldn’t like it…and he didn’t. Well, one thing you do find there is running water for sure.. in the toilet !! Also the overall look of the room was not the standards that you do want to stay… oops sorry 🫣… not the heaven on earth as promised by the Owner. Sabby my friend with me… questions the staff on the quality of the rooms…and we are shown the premium rooms and those literally maintained the theme if other rooms with premium cost 🤥. Guess what is the interesting part… Talking to the hotel staff gulping couple of beers at Goa after a 14 hour drive, we were branded as Drunkards just because we had a valid point in our argument. What else did they expect we drink? Sweet Nectar or Amrut that can model you into a saint and cleanse of your sins and make you go straight to Himalayas after checking out from JP Resort? Nahhhhh !! Now its that moment where we all are waiting for, entry of the Hero !! The Owner walks in and he was all over us talking and all. Then I started to think whats up with him and the Owner gives a look at us and then I realize ‘Rajnikanth Inside’ and that’s what making him acting up. He continues with his rant that he has never host guests like us for having to question the quality of the rooms. But But But… then the very hotel staff who have served you couple of beers can call you drunkards 🙄. We had no option but to continue there for the night and since we have tummies we will be hungry and since JP resort has a resort and in room dining Menu they will have a kitchen and Chef. Now, when we order food we are told that the Chef is not available and foos cannot be served for next few hours 🫨. So in summary.. - Substandard rooms - Impolite Staff - Impolite Owner - Lack of basic services These are the few things you will be subjected to if you stat in this Paradise as you are made to believe JP Resort is by its Owner. Don’t be fooled by the pics and sweet talk by the owner… you might want to get adiptwd 😂 We checked out next day to Jamboree Creek and it’s actually Paradise.

It’s a nice and cozy place to spend couple of nights. The resort itself is small and beautiful with clean swimming pool. The staff is polite and helpful. However there are few points to be considered. First, the room (we booked a cottage) they gave was not in condition. The main door latch was broken, bathroom door didn’t lock, TV wasn’t working and AC was also not working. The staff was helpful and they gave us a better cottage. However, the stress to deal with all this is uncalled for. It would have been great if the management avoided all these hassle since this can be easily checked. The new room was better but the bathroom was really bad especially the water closet. It’s condition was worse than cheap rooms in Goa. The cottages aren’t built for privacy since the bed is just in front of the main glass door.

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience at the resort. We were escorted all the time by bugs, flies, and the weird smell coming from the sink. The food is good although the portions are a bit small. The service is decent, not immediately responsive. Not a good experience for the price paid.

+ 1 star for their promptness in service. We had a great time at JP Resort, arambol. They arranged a bike and car as per our requirements. They were very quick in taking action for any issue we had. The personal pool party was best, on request they provided speakers. You will fall in love with Night lighting which glows the entire resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at JP Resort in Goa, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The warm hospitality, caring owner, and welcoming staff made our stay truly memorable. The owner's personal touch was evident throughout our stay. Their genuine care for guests created an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. It's rare to find such dedication to customer satisfaction. The staff at JP resort were friendly and eager to assist which deserves a special commendation.

One of the best resorts in Arambol. Good ambiance to stay, swimming pool, delicious food and it also has an Ayurvedic massage centre where they provide excellent therapies for relaxation.
