Unexpectedly entered the restaurant, without reservation. We were lucky to find a place, and tried many specialties that the lovely waitress suggested. We were truly happy and thrilled with the tastes. Grilled artichoke. Just wow:) And interestingly the check was very reasonable for the level of the cuisine. It was a cold day. After the trees bloom it might be harder to find a place, so better to make a reservation. The restaurant is by the river, with a nice sight, also. We had a wonderful afternoon with our friend. I did not have high expectations of this restaurant as I thought it is just the ideal stop off point for food, where tired tourists don't want to walk further but just stop and escape from the heat..well I couldn't be more wrong!!! Excellent food, service and ambience!! Highly recommended! Very busy but plenty of staff who quickly attend to tables, answer questions, have vegan options, and you can ask for allergen chart. Dishes were creative, well presented and delicious. Great portions and price. Could be fine dining. I would have gone back if I was staying! Don't miss this place, enjoy it!!

The food was all super delicious and the wait staff were efficient and friendly.

Schickes, sehr großes Restaurant. Man kann zu zweit auch Draußen am Fluss sitzen. Essen ist sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist Tuchservietten macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Essen ist für das geboten zwischen 10-20€ günstig. Essen kam sehr zügig, obwohl der Laden fast voll war. Mitarbeiter professionell und freundlich.

Wonderful place for lunch with great decor. A varied menu, with several vegan options and top quality meat and fish dishes. All mains, and deserts were delicious. We weren’t able to reserve a table in advance, but managed to get a table on to day on the terraza.

The food was quite delicious. I really liked the location and the servers were extremely nice and courteous. We had several dishes and all of them were pretty abundant so we shared. The ambiance was outstanding. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the price of the butter and bread. We asked for some butter for the bread and they charged us 4 euros for the it and 3 more for the butter. In my opinion, this was too pricey for just that. They should consider at least to include the butter in the price of the already costly loaf of bread.

Since I went to this restaurant on holiday, the delivery speed and even the checkout were slow, but I believe this is not the daily service level of the restaurant.

The food is good. It has many different food from other countries mixed with Spanish food. The black rice and the algae salad were very good.

High expectations, spectacular dissapointment. we arrived with mother , she had been for ages wanting to either had dinner or lunch. we arrived for a drink and something to eat on a very hot day . Pre - taste before booking for dinner. Service was super ackward, with manager not shy to show us total desdain , bordeline rude and agressive? . We were quite hungry so we finally sat down and asked for some croquettes. I asked for vodka but they only had one kind , which I found really strange for an establishment of such stature in town. Tapas with drinks were excellent, croquettes not so much . After a bit of hesitation we left . Will not return.

Very nice place, excellent service and the food is extremely delicious, they have black rice that is so tasty, highly recommend it.

Lovely decor and terraces. It was nice to have the cool water fans and sprays set up for such a warm summers day. The toilets were some of the poshest I have seen. Service was a little slow, they seemed short on staff maybe? Then when we were served both times they forgot part of the order and also seemed a little disinterested as if work was going through the motions. There was no coffee. Strange as all the time I have lived/worked/visited Spain, I've not known a bar unable to serve you coffee. No reason was given. I do speak Spanish, so it was not as if a language barrier was an issue. Plus point, their granizados are to die for. Best I've had in a long time. They also gave some free tapas with our drinks order which was very nice. It was a seafood paella and it was absolutely delicious 😋

Not impressed. I had the sea bass which was well cooked but a minefield of bones. My wife had the chicken which was very ordinary. Even the tiramisu dessert was disappointing since it was not tiramisu. Scratch this one from our list.

Very nice restaurant with excellent service. Even a robot that serves the dishes and comes to clear the plates. Food was delicious especially the beef stew I ate and desserts. Steak was less successful. Good experience overall. had a good time

We asked for the daily menu. The service was terrible. The food not good - salad without a dresser, fish overdone, smashed potatoes pre done, burger to much done and in regular bread. The ice creams with pieces of ice inside. The only good thing is that was not expensive.

Fantastic location on the river with an entertaining front patio. The service was was great all around. The food was all delicious.

I went to the Matilde for my birthday meal and I really bad a great time. The food was amazing, we had red wine as well which I really enjoyed. The highlight however of my evening was the tiramisu it was one of the best I have ever had. For my partner's birthday we will be coming back. Highly recommend!
