The only thing memorable about the stay was the terrible beds. Wouldn't have written a review but the child in charge of replying wanted to get snippy with my husband. Bad beds. Worst customer service. I know they will reply with how it's our fault for not enjoying our stay. Go look at every negative review. It's somehow the guests fault. Grow up and fix it.

Edit. I have no idea who this guy is talking about. But it was my 86 yo grandma and my 31 yo wife. Looks like instead of doing anything to change and make it better. They are making excuses. So sad. Again $130 a night. Things are taped together. Maybe while you're working on making updating the place like you claim. Don't charge as much as a 4 star hotel. Go look at the rest of the bad reviews. Nothing but excuses and nothing gets fixed. We've been on a road trip for 2 months now. We've only stayed at hotels. These were easily and by far the worst beds we slept in. I'm posting this like 5 days after we stayed because it came up in conversation how bad beds were. We all agreed we would have rather slept in the car then spend $130 there. I still feel like my back isn't the same since then. Also the Air conditioner was held together with duct tape. We got 1 little bag thing (not even the tiny bottles) of body wash to share between 3 people.

My expectations were not too high just because the inn looked so small when my bf made the reservations but when we walked in the lobby was welcoming and clean. I will say that if you’re looking for fancy & new this isn’t the place for you. The furniture was pretty outdated & the two bed room was not huge. We loved it - it was clean, no weird smells, the front desk guy was really nice, & it was in a nice location. The price was pretty good, they had breakfast & we had no issues.

Super clean, locally owned, and great location! The rooms were a little dated, and they weren't too generous with the pillows, but I bet if we'd asked, they would've given us more. The owners were really friendly. We were just there for a quick visit, but I don't think there was a pool or workout facilities.

I am a disabled vet with a service dog. I emailed about having a service dog and they responded quickly. I emailed four locations and heard back from 3, Alpine was the quickest. I have had bad experiences with other hotels, there are lot of fake service dogs out there so I like to give them a heads up. When I arrived the metal stair to our room where to hot for my dogs feet so they quickly changed my room to an inside entry. The rooms are clean and very well equipped I stayed in a suite. The Inn is centrally located and makes it easy to get anyplace you want. The staff was always friendly and made me feel welcome. I normally stay at Holliday Inn express and the maintained and repair was on pare with them. I will go back someday with my wife.

Very hospitable, rooms good quality , shower and tub good water pressure. Breakfast was great. Very highly recommend. If were staying longer would have definitely stayed there again .

Nice little Inn for a short stay. Room was clean--to include the bathroom. My room had a balcony with a sliding door for access. That was nice to open in the cool mornings. Not much of a view though. Breakfast is available downstairs. Typical selection of items. Parking is sufficient. No problem with security for my two days there. Plan to drive for dinner unless you walk to Sonic--which I did one day.

On our motorcycle trip from Richmond, Virginia to the Grand Canyon and back, we are enjoying the smaller, non-corporate family owned hotels. The Alpine Inn of Pagosa Springs is just that. We arrived early and Sophie was eager to accommodate. With a smile, she had us booked into #213 in a jiffy. The room was clean and bright after opening the curtains. The balcony is tiny, but a balcony nonetheless, overlooking the parking lot, mountains off to the distant. Bathroom was clean, with hot water and strong pressure. In the shower. The beds were a tad springy, soft. Pillows about medium. A continental breakfast is offered with breads, oatmeal, cereals and juices. The location was great. We needed to do laundry and hit Walmart and we were close to both. If you are looking for fancy, the Alpine Inn probably won't do it for you. If you want a great place to sleep, in a great location, for a decent price, this is it!
