Disrespectfully canceled my wedding contract via email so we had to start from scratch 6 months in. The crazy part is we were there for a food tasting only a few weeks before-- they must have known this was coming, so I can only assume they weren't entirely honest with me during the whole process. They said it was for business reasons which should be a huge red flag about the remainder of their services. If that was the case then a business with integrity would have honored the contracts they already had in place instead of canceling after the fact. Avoid this dump.

After signing a contract to have our wedding here, Arden Hills reneged on their agreement and cancelled our wedding booking. We will now have to find a new venue and reconsider vendors. I cannot speak to other aspects of their business, but if this is how they handle contracts, I would be hesitant to become a member here.

I wish I would have listened to the other 1 star reviews on this place. I booked a room here and a spa appt with a friend. I could not check into my room until after 3pm and they won’t even let you sit and wait at the restaurant. You have to be a “member”. She literally told me to leave and come back. The room was extremely outdated, old, and over priced. The spa, the facial was great, but you get to use zero amenities. So it’s basically the equivalent of Message Envy but triple the price. I really wished I would have saved my time and money with this place.

This place is absolutely the worst. We signed a contract with them for our wedding but we got a call that they are closing the venue. They did refund us our deposit; however, We already booked vendors. We’re out a few thousands and we’ve gotten no response from these people. Avoid this place at all cost.

Absolutely don’t go here!! Half the amenities don’t work and I wasn’t informed beforehand. The “manager” Luz wasn’t helpful at all, short and rude with me. I came here with a group of girls but if I came here alone I would’ve just walked out. $170 for a 50 minute massage and your jacuzzi doesn’t work. Seems like owners don’t care and not fixing the place. I’ve been here before and now I’m never going back. Stay away.

Great experience at the spa. My friend treated me to an 80 min hot stone massage. We enjoyed the peaceful Serenity Room prior to our massages. The massage rooms have a small fireplace, which is nice for a person like me who runs cold. We enjoyed the steam room after. It was Saturday and it was empty, so we enjoyed the privacy. It was the perfect way to end the experience. Christine checked us out and was a delightful last touch to our visit. We look forward to coming back again.

With all due respect and coming from a corporate executive, this place is somewhat of a joke. I'm from the big city and know luxury and this place only caters to members who are "old versions" of Ken and Barbie, no disrespect just telling it as I see it. The younger staff who are also handsome and beautiful are trying their best but the luxury feel is not there. I will say that the grounds are beautiful and Mark Spitz, the Olympic swimmer did train here back in the 70s. But just like Mark's time, the place feels it hasn't changed since the seventies. I did get some snobby looking eyes but it honestly didn't bother me since I knew this place in the suburbs was making their attempt to try to be posh and luxurious. Finally, for the love of all that is right, clean your frickin front lobby carpets! Super soiled and this is supposed to be luxury? Members only? Give me a break.

My third time to attend an event here. Spacious and elegant. Lots of parking; a little tricky to get here

Don't waste your time or money. Anyone who was a member pre-pandemic is in the know! Amenities have been sliced and diced. It's like going from a full service concierge hotel to a hotel with breakfast coupons only! Absolutely NOT getting what you pay for! Grounds are gorgeous but it's a ghost town Monday/Tuesday and 3-4 every other day! No food or beverage service and you can't even have self provided food on the grounds on the days they are closed for food and Beverage service. Infuriating! Zero stars

First time we went to the spa it was great. So I got my wife a gift card and she went to use it for a massage which should include jacuzzis and steam rooms. They said due to covid she can’t use the facility. This is march 13 2022. All covid restriction have been lifted since February 16 2022 for Sacramento county. They don’t want to refund the gift card.

After showing us where our locker rooms were, we were given no other instructions where to go, where to wait, what happens next as we were planned to have massages. Having to flag the same attendant down and asking her where to go, she seem unenthused/annoyed and rude in her response. The massages though were awesome and it was overall relaxing and enjoyable. Kenia was great. After we returned to the locker room, other guests we're being walked through and we overheard the same attendant going over everything, including where the showers were, saunas, bathrooms, where to go, what to expect etc. It's disappointing to know that other clients received better service than we did while we were here. Walking out, I had asked another attendant what the other's name was and she had asked me if there was any problems. I let her know my concerns and she explained that the girl is new and probably had "nerves". Understandable I guess? But being new doesn't give you the right to be snobby and rude. I just hope this serves as a learning experience for next time if you want to keep guests happy.

Literally it was the worst experience first of all the main reason to go there was the spa and they did not have all services and packages available I don understand why they rated as so good in the area . The stay oh my god how can they even get to call as 4 star the rooms and carpet were so dirty there were so many spiders around and seemed spooky at night. The Anniversary day was screwed up and that’s not it they charged me more than what I was told I will be charged when I reserved my stay. On top of that I notice that in my card statement they have charged me two times and while checking out the front desk lady was rude and said they do not have a definitive answer and will call me back which they never bothered to. Now I will have to work with my bank to resolve this mess such a pain and waste of time frankly it’s not worth the hassle I hate this and I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The massages here are good, however, everything else was terrible. This place is seriously outdated, everything is gross and not clean. The woman’s locker room was super dirty, the lockers that we got have a thick layer of dust and the shower that I used had black mold. Would not come here again!

Booked couple massages for my husband and myself. The massages were awesome. I set my expectations high because its supposed to be a wellness resort, but coming from Switzerland and after visiting standart wellness resorts in Germany, and Austria, it was very disappointing. I used to aroma therapy in the steaming rooms, relaxation rooms with lean back chairs, etc.. the spa was outdated in my opinion and everything including the steaming room, and lotions had a weird "old" smell. If you want great massages then this is the right place, but not for a sauna spa day.

Beautiful place to see. A very nice place to have a wedding, good food. I have actually temp worked for them so I got to see behind the scene. I recommend this place for a place to come and see for a consideration for a event.

Amazing!! We received full body Swedish massages and they hooked it up with the oils and the aromatherapy (is also a dope option). 10 outta 10 customer service, massages and pressure, comfort, and just the over all vibe. Felt like we were on an island. They got tea and chocolate too. Oh laawwd!!! The stream room reminds me of that movie the fog, got a little nervous but my pores thanked me after. Getting facials next month and another soon.

Extremely terrible customer service. Go somewhere else. Not at all friendly to guests. No food or beverage service on Monday and Tuesday so come prepared. Don’t expect to even eat or have a cocktail on Wednesday when the restaurant finally opens. You will be rudely asked to leave even if you intend to buy food and pay for massages later. Very bad plan here to treat your customers like trash when they’re simply hoping to relax for a day. Strongly suggest against this place. No one even told us where the pool, bathroom, towels etc are located. Like the wild wild west when it comes to creating a nice experience. Total free for all. Spend your money elsewhere.

First class venue for my daughter and son in laws wedding reception! Sabrina went above and beyond my expectations and took good care of us in handling some last minute details. A big thanks to her and the rest of the staff for making this a memorable event!

The massages we booked were great! All the staff here was great! Didn't really use the sauna because it wasn't coed.

Went for dinner. Chef needs more practice. Meet was over cooked and I asked for a rare steak. Vegetables were not seasoned well and not cooked all the way.

We received gift certificates for Christmas and couldn't wait for some much needed relaxation. It was subpar. Outdated. Overpriced. A one hour massage is $200. Im in the industry....there's no reason for their massage to be this much other than because it is in a "resort." The therapist was good. No conplaints there. The hot tub is closed off and emptied, so we tried the steam room, which was what you would expect. The "resting room" is nothing more than a lobby full of others coming in and out of their appointments, sample teas, and very worn furniture. The snacks were not labeled, and so anyone with dietary restrictions would have to avoid, leaving the snacks bar... not for everyone. We were the last appts of the day; the employees had left already leaving the place dark and left it to us to let ourselves out; an odd end to what was supposed to feel like a refreshing spa day. We left feeling like we went to the doctors office instead.

Honestly save your money and stay home or go to an actual resort like a Kimpton or seriously a Days Inn may have nicer customer service. Only stay here if you enjoy being belittled and not getting to enjoy anything listed on your reservation. Hard pass.

When I walked in the entrance was very nice. The table set up was beautiful, I had a great time. All the employees where very kind and respectful. I would recommend your place to anyone. What a beautiful place. I'll cherish the time I spent there.

Was here for a large corporate gala (NAWBO 2023) - venue was very nice. The grounds are well kept and they have a huge pool.

I would not recommend this place to guests. While the spa services were great - the customer service and incredibly rude behavior outside of the spa service were horrendous. We were treated as less than during the stay after spending a large amount of multiple services and champagne bottles. I would advise anyone looking for a spa day as a guest to look elsewhere.

Angelica gave me an incredible Signature massage yesterday. She really listened to what I needed. She has healing energy and kindness. Haven't felt this good in years.

Wonderful facilities and you can literally get everything done here from fitness, food, and spa. They offer a phenomenal tennis experience too.
