El Camino Veterinary Hospital

Animal hospital

😠 Went in for a cough (upper respiratory infection) and flea meds. The meds for the infection should have been 2 weeks they only gave me enough for 1 week. Told them I was buying the meds online for fleas, they said ok, well approve it. They denied the request saying I have to have a written prescript... People often mention staff, time, Coco,

When you walk into a place and see that they care enough to make you feel welcome, it makes a huge difference. When the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding, it makes a huge difference. When your concerns about your furry friends is listened to, acknowledged, understood, and addressed, it makes a huge difference. What I am getting at, is that El Camino Veterinary Hospital, makes a huge difference. They helped my bulldog and even more so, they helped me, as a worry wart pet parent, feel comfortable, and heard. Today, I brought in my cat as well, and they were excellent with both my little buddies. They have been able to suggest different treatments for my dogs ailments and take his health, and the health of my wallet into account. I highly suggest you make the move to a vet that actually cares about your fur babies, because you wouldn’t be reading this review if you didn’t.

Told them I was buying the meds online for fleas, they said ok, well approve it. They denied the request saying I have to have a written prescription and mail it in. Last time I was here they refered me to another vet for my cat, since they would not look at him due to not wanting to be liable for cancer or give me any "bad news"

I found a cat (not my cat) in very bad shape in my backyard today and I took it here. They took the cat immediately and had me fill out a paper and that was it. Very great pet emergency hospital

The folks at El Camino Vet Hospital are awesome! Our pets are always greeted by name when we arrive, the staff is very professional, caring, and considerate. The doctors consider all options when suggesting treatments and make me feel like I'm making an informed decision. I highly recommend El Camino Vet Hospital.

With 8 years and 30 foster dogs later I will never take my business here again. Rude staff members and they are mainly concerned with making money and not animal welfare. scheduling exam visits and charging for every possible thing they can so they can finance their building remodel. Used to be an honest place not anymore. You’ve been warned.

During our initial visit, Dr Zach took his time discussing petcare which allowed me time to recall matters of question/concern; no one was rushed - so refreshing!; Technicians Heather and Richard were very informative and thorough - thank you all, Lily & Peabo's family🥰🐈🐕

My furbabies are gone now but this place is CAVY SAVY for anyone who has guinea pigs, Dr. T is the BEST. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants the best care for their babies.

Their prices were very reasonable and they broke down what was necessary and what was not before payment. They were able to fit my pet in to their very busy schedule on short notice. The staff were all very patient and kind, you could tell that everyone there really loves animals and wants to help them. They treated my hurt, scared pet with admirable tenderness and helped him feel comfortable during the exam, even though it took a little extra time and they were so busy. I am so grateful to everyone at this office for helping my pet get back to healthy.

I am so happy I found this vet. They were super helpful when I initially called needing a vaccine for my new puppy, Bunnie. So I decided to make them our regular vet. Bunnie's first visit was great and the staff was so sweet with her. They gave her a bunny toy to play with and she loves it! She threw it around and pounced on it right away in the office, and still does at home!

We took our 6 month old German Shepherd Harley in to see Dr. Chen because Harley was having a lot of diarrhea (sorry TMI) but the doctor and the vet tech (I forgot her name) gave us great information and we’re super helpful, AND Harley loved everyone. The ladies at the front desk were also very nice and professional. A wonderful experience overall.

I love El Camino Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Tiedeken and her staff are always so friendly, helpful and professional! I can always rest assured knowing Teddy will receive the best care and get lots of attention when I take him for treatment! If you have Guinea pigs or other exotic pets, El Camino Veterinary Hospital is the right place!

They treat my Chihuahua great but like many vet places, their prices are high. However, they do have monthly payment plans that you can pay ahead of time that cover certain services and reduce costs on others.

ECVH is a very caring vet hospital. They're attentive, patient, and truly kind and caring to their patients. The docs/techs are very knowledgeable and competent. I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else.

Dr. Morgan isn't just a great Veterinarian, he's also a good Man, contributing and volunteering his time as a Director on the Board of Sacramento SPCA. Thank you Dr. Morgan, for your wonderful care of Arden Arcade's furry family members.

I highly recommend this animal hospital. I am so glad that I took my Coco to this special place. I was ready to put my Coco down and I took him to this place as a last resort. Coco is a 10 year old shitzu with attitude. He had chronic fungal infection with pain in all of his joints. No one could groom him because he was in so much pain he would bite. If he was not going to get better that would be it. However my Coco turned 180 degrees. Every one in our family is in a shock that how well he is doing. The doctor was very attentive. He listened to me and it showed how much he cared. He even called me few days later to see how Coco was doing. Thank you so much for giving my Coco back to me.
