We went here for a quick lunch after some shopping and the food was good. The atmosphere was a little lacking, it felt like the seating was a little strange, overall the place was not very inviting, but not ugly or dirty. Like I mentioned above, the food was good and the presentation was pretty, just nothing exceptional. We both agreed we probably wouldn't go back unless we were in the area.

First time here and liked the sushi. Greeted shortly after walking in for pickup. The sushi 🍣 rolls were delicious and the fish was fresh. The flavor and spice to the rolls that stated they were spicy were on point. The front counter service was great. Nice and courteous. Next time I'll probably sit in to enjoy the food for a different experience.

Sushi is expensive, but this place has reasonable prices and generous portions. The QR Code here is not only for viewing the menu, everyone in your table can order by using their own phone. They have streamlined their service efficiently which gives their staff more time to concentrate on providing you great customer service. The miso soup is a must try since they serve it hot here! Other places serve theirs luke warm at best. Their sake was good and their sashimi was super fresh. Being served by a robot was cool. Their extensive menu and delicious sushi is definitely worth coming back for. Third time here. 🫶🏼

Best baked scallop roll I've had. The food was delicious. I was delighted they have Melon Creamy Soda which is often hard to find. Definitely my new favorite sushi spot in Sacramento.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The comfortable seating, perfect atmosphere, extensive menu selection, and reasonable prices made for a great experience. The highlight of my experience was definitely the sushi, which was all impeccably fresh and delicious. Although the service was a bit slow, it was understandable given how busy the restaurant was. I particularly appreciated the QR code menu, which allowed for seamless ordering and easy communication with the server. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Between the great food, comfortable atmosphere, and convenient features, it's definitely a must-visit spot. I will definitely be back soon to try their other incredible sushi! After checking out the reviews, we decided to come to Sushi Hook for lunch. The prices looked amazing so we were excited. We noticed when we walked in that the atmosphere seemed a little off and not extremely inviting, though we were greeted nicely. The server brought over a QR code for the menu. We ordered the rolls we wanted and everything came out really quickly. Our rolls also looked amazing. We ordered the Wonder Woman, Inferno, Big Bang and Samurai. After tasting though, we realized that the pieces were far too big. In addition, you can’t taste any fish because the rolls contained so much filler of rice and crab mix. Sad panda. The inferno was the only roll close to having good flavor. This place seems like a great deal on prices, but the flavors aren’t balanced. Not such a good deal for our taste buds.

I used to come her years ago when I was going to Sac State and since I was back in the area I wanted to revisit it and check the place out. It tastes just as awesome as I remember!

This is our go to sushi place whenever we're in the area. Sushis and food portions are big and prices are reasonable. Service is fast and good. Photos are Crunch Monkey and Combo Sashimi.

I love this place. I always get the same thing— the sashimi and nigiri combo with the California roll. The service is great and the fish is so fresh. Highly recommended!

All of the reviews are glowing for a reason. This place has fantastic sushi, staff, and pricing! The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu, and will take time to genuinely talk to you to ensure that you don’t order something you might not like! They also have robot staff which will roll some select orders out which is very fun to experience!

Came here for dinner with some friends through their recommendation and it did not disappoint. The servings are generous and well worth the price. Speed of service was also amazingly fast even with the restaurant being a full house. I am looking forward to coming back here again. Definitely a new favorite spot for sushi.

Sometimes I come here alone for lunch or with friends for dinner - anytime the food and service has been great. Special shout out to Issac who seems to be stuck with me more often than not and is always fantastic.

Came here for lunch. Restaurant is clean and customer service was on point. We ordered the Arden and Alligator and they are both delicious! The rolls were stuffed with ingredients and the amount of rice was perfect.

Pretty awesome food especially for the price. We got pickup takeout on a weekend night. The place was very busy but our order was ready and waiting and the girl that helped me was super nice. Everything was delicious except the lion king was a little overcooked but it was still very good.

At the times I've gone, they have this QR code where you get to see the menu, order, and even pay off of it. It was a new experience for me my first time coming here. The food is really good, and i found out that their spicy scallop dish, is SPICY. So beware! Get your water up ready! The food has always been really good, the service is very kind and friendly as well.

Came here 2x the sushi was great both times. The service could've been better the second time we came. We were sat in a spot by the register wasn't super inviting and then the servers kept forgetting things we asked for. We will try them again because the sushi was good and the price is great
