(Translated by Google) Nice museum but poorly managed. To begin the visit times are very short, and it is not possible to visit the museum at the scheduled times. The museum is open very few times a week: today, Saturday 13 August, there were three entrances, at 15, at 16:30 and at 18. After an hour of visiting we were practically expelled from the museum, very insistently, to enter the next group (consisting of two people). Incomprehensible to me why not let more people in, considering that overall our group (at 15:00) was made up of about 15 people. Moreover: inside it was stiflingly hot, not even a fan, half of the museum was inaccessible due to the high temperatures, and we were told that it was closed because someone got sick. The best solution they found was evidently to close. The captions of the works, however badly lit, were meters away from the works themselves (which is unbearable in a visit to be done practically in a hurry) and works of immeasurable value were kept in an often precarious state. Free admission, if it must be such under these conditions, is not the best solution. The museum as a whole allows you to see wonderful works and the visit is recommended, but provided you take into account the intolerable management.

One of the worst museums I've ever seen: underfunded, badly managed, with an outdated style of exposition of art, with astonishing opening hours, with Italian descriptions only etc.

Davvero molto interessante.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful museum located in a historic building in the center of Arezzo, developed on three floors. Works often of an excellent level, including some by Signorelli, Della Robbia and Vasari. Unfortunately the lighting is not optimal, but the museum is certainly a good stop for lovers of art and culture in the city of Arezzo. Consigliato

Interessante museo molto ricco.

Be aware of the different opening times before and after April 1st, also you have to be exactly on time e.g. at 3pm, 4.30 pm and 6pm. The doors open for 10 minutes and are closed until the next opening time which is 90min later. If you like museums and medieval art it is well worth visiting, for which each turn has 75 minutes.

Free entrance and worthwhile a visit! Check for opening hours before going though because they close during afternoons.

A superb collection of maiolica (pottery) competing with Bargello and every national museum, arms, medieval and Renaissance painting : Signorelli, Danti, Pierino da Vinci and the largest and stunning collection of Vasari masterpieces.

👍👍 Really worth a visit, much bigger than your think with amazing views of the Tuscan country side. It's amazing to think this was starting the 1300s and enlarged during the Rennaisance
