The Arezzo home of the 16th Century artist/art historian Vasari. Approx 5 decorated rooms and a terrace garden. At July 23 entrance was €5. Interesting in itself but more so if you have in interest in high renaissance art. Would take somewhere between 30 mins and an hour to go round.

There's one room that's really nice, the rest are OK, plus there's a garden. You can only enter at certain times, which are only indicated on Casa Vasari's website. The first time I tried to visit, I was 15 minutes late for the last entry, and they refused to sell me a ticket even though there were no other visitors and the place was open another one and a half hours!

Worthwhile to visit. Most rooms related to Vasari, also a small garden to explore. Need to book in advance.

The house of Vasari is a nice museum, with mainly paintings and frescoes from Vasari himself. There is also the garden, which is very nice. Definitely a very nice museum .

Beautiful paintings and painted ceilings. Wooden ceilings also.

An interesting family home of one of the most famous Renaissance artists. A painter, architect, writer and biographer. It would be fascinating to be able to read some of the material in his archives.

Que bella, questa casa! Beautiful house of multitalent Giorgio Vasari, artist, architect, author! A miracle that these frescoes on ceilings and paintings - from the Renaissance ! - remained intact. Impressive, admission price of 4 Euros I found very fair. Be sure to check availability (and ideally reserve) as only few people are allowed in at one time. The presentation of information could be better, a bit more modern. But: great museum!

Beautiful little collection of paintings , dreamy painted ceilings / frescoes in sixteenth century artist Giorgio Vasaris home (which he bought in 1541) On display there were just four small rooms (on the first floor) plus a pretty walled garden, so you can easily fit this visit into a morning in Arezzo even if you just have a spare half an hour or so. €5 was a fair price for a little aesthetic satisfaction, but I had imagined more than one floor would be open to view and that the layout would be set up as his original home would have been (the kitchen , the boudoir, the living room etc) however that was a total assumption I made up in my head before hand . I didn’t book online but was lucky there were no other people inside when I arrived so I was allowed straight in. They do recommended booking as they only have certain time slots and are apparently closed Tuesdays! July 2023.

Very nice museum. It’s small, You need about 30-40 min for it. The wall painting are gorgeous. Would recommend to watch the short intro movie.

Excellent museum of the art in their own house of a such a talented local artist - not to be missed. The outside garden was also great and well maintained…. Easy to visualise the artist taking a break in the same space. Only 4 euro, (which included a lockable locker which saved us carrying out back pack (happy to avoid it accidentally rubbing on the previous art)) all worth every cent. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Slightly bossy security guy but that’s what he does…. directs! So no criticism from us. Thanks Casa Vasari.

Is a small museum with nice pictures, and also the walls and cell are painted. Not expensive.
