First time in and the gal taking our order was super sweet and helpful. If you can, try the Carolina Gold and the Alabama White BBQ sauces. They are both unique and very tasty. We also tried the sweet BBQ sauce and it was very good too. The only one we didn't try was the spicy, maybe next time.🙂 Saturday specials are very generous on the serving size and I highly recommend you take advantage of the BOGO on pastries. We tried the Pecan Pie and the Bread Pudding. Both were yummy, we were so full from the food and only ate half the fries that we took home the left over dessert for later. The place is very cute and clean. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.

I was not happy when I left Porky's. Having ordered online ahead of my visit, I was looking forward a nice BBQ dinner. On arrival, I let them know my name and watched for the next 20+ minutes as patrons came and went, most having also ordered in advance. Finally, the (presumably) high school kid picked up a bag out of the warmer and said my name. (Audible grumble) I had actually asked him earlier, as well, if my order was ready and he ignored me. With that unpleasantness out of the way.... I ordered a brisket sandwich topped with coleslaw, mac-n-cheese, and some beer-battered cheese curds. Despite having sat in a warmer for at least 20 minutes. It was all delicious. Really outstanding. Well, the curds were okay but probably would have been better with 30 seconds in my microwave. I had the spicy sauce. With some sweetness and combined with the coleslaw topping, it was great. I will likely order the exact same thing next time around.

First time customer today and I’m very glad I stopped by. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was great. Service was friendly and they have tables outside. This is a great place for lunch. Thank you Porky’s!

The full slab of ribs were tasty although a bit dry so was the half chicken, we ordered online so maybe by the time we got there it was sitting for 15 to 20 min. The beans were great and the cheese curds were ok. The cobbler was tasty. The smoke sausages were delicious. The coleslaw was Soso a bit too sweet for my taste. Mac & cheese was tasty although the portion wasn’t very large. All in all I will go here again.

I took my family here after taking my son to the park. It’s a small place with stool seating, I’m not sure how long this place has been there but looks new. Had my 3 year old so seating wasn’t the greatest for a child but he didn’t fall or complain so it’s whatever. Haha. Staff was cool, ordering was easy. We ordered Mac and cheese Pork belly burnt ends (sauce on the side) Fries Hush puppies Pulled pork sandwich Brisket/pulled pork sandwich. Since it was our first time we got a samples of all their sauces and they threw in some cornbread. First thing first, the food was hot. Which should be a no brainer but I’ve been to countless bbq joints and for some reason the Mac and cheese is always cool, or barely warm. Mac and cheese was creamy and hot, you can pick up subtle hits of garlic seasoning and whatnot. It wasn’t THE BEST EVER but definitely enjoyable. Some paprika would’ve gone a long way, personal preference.) Fries, crispy and hot, fluffy inside. Perfect. Hush puppies, friggin’ delicious my only gripe was that I PERSONALLY would like them a little bigger, but that’s my opinion. Otherwise, flavor was great, crispy outside, soft fluffy inside. The sandwiches, both were good portions, soft bun and a tasty protein. Having a plethora of sauces on the side was a good move, I personally enjoyed the Alabama white sauce with some of the pork, but the spicy bbq and Carolina was pretty good on the brisket/pork combo sandwich.. Now, the pork belly burnt ends… fu@&, Soft, tender, with some bite, hint of sweetness, paired up with the white sauce and it was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends and family.

Tim & the entire Porky’s team are fantastic! We had them cater our wedding buffet, and everyone absolutely loved the food! I have one friend now even considering doing a buffet for her wedding, even though she never wanted one previously, because this food was just that good! I have a few dietary restrictions, of which Tim was very accommodating. The food was also super fresh, as I even remember taste testing some pickles made from cucumbers grown in Tim’s garden. Tim was also super responsive to emails, which was very helpful during the chaotic wedding planning process. We recommend Porky’s to everyone! Since the wedding, they have catered a work event for us too. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Really delicious! Ordered using UberEats, and I was shocked how hot and fresh everything still was. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic and had a great smokey flavor. My husband said Porky's sweet barbeque sauce may be his favorite barbeque sauce he's ever had! Mac & cheese was also excellent and well seasoned. Edit: had to order again, and it was just as good the second time. The pork belly burnt ends literally melt in your mouth. Beans were great. Will definitely be a regular at Porky's.

I really wanted to love the food, but it was honestly terrible. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The pork was tough, with a lot of crunchy burned pieces. The bun was burned. The sweet BBQ sauce wasn't really sweet--it was more spicy than sweet. Very disappointing...

Tonight we tried Porky’s BBQ. It is by far the best bbq place we’ve gone to in IL. The meat is top quality and the smokey flavor was done to perfection. Though they have an excellent variety of homemade sauces you could eat the ribs and smoked wings without it. All the sides were tasty and homemade too. We’ll definitely be going back and highly recommend them and you’ll love the experience with their family style type staff.

stopped in to pick up lunch for a small group. Super friendly service and the brisket was on point. The mac and cheese was perfect. I would not leave without grabbing a few corn muffins and a Spicy BBQ sauce - glad i bought a bottle to go…amazing!

Oh my, just got done with our first of what is sure to be MANY dinners here. Everything was terrific, we received fries instead of cornbread either by mistake or maybe they were out of CB but no big deal, the fries were great as well so no complaints here! Make sure to try the Carolina Sauce if you like vinegar sauces!!!!

This is by far the best bbq place I’ve ever been to. I’m not even a fan of bbq, but this place was amazing. The service was wonderful and the Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had. My husband really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and cheese curds! Definitely will come back again soon!

Traveled 35miles to try them out, Brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were very good ,the bbq beans were the high light very very good! had the onion hush puppies very good, the coleslaw ...hhhmm needs seasoning not a bad mix of cabbage etc but definitely needs to be helped or replaced if store bought.....all their sauces were good, corn bread needs to be warm not cold havent really ever found a restaurant that serves it the right way.... Place is small but understandably works , some seats , pleasant workers....definitely try again...thanks

Today (4/29/23) is my first time here. Food was excellent. Ordered BBQ Pork with Sweet Sauce, onion hush puppies (didn't see it on menu but saw customer on past review mention them), and bbq beans. Loved everything I had-pork was seasoned perfectly on a perfect bun vessel that complimented the sandwich, the bbq beans had some meat and other seasonings but left the beans as the star, and the hushpuppies were a perfect bite size with outer crispiness and just enough onion seasoning inside to me wanting another in my mouth right I after I finish one. Definitely will be back again.

very friendly, brought our puppy, and they brought out a bowl of water. Came in close to closing, expecting to see almost everything sold out. it was not. only a few things. ordered pastrami, brisket, and pulled pork. 'bama white was excellent. my wife was surprised, as she has never had it. sauce was NOT needed as the flavor of the meat was excellent.

My first time trying and it did not disappoint. I’m from Tennessee and this bbq was so yummy. The serving is well worth the price! Will definitely try again when I’m back in town

Had placed an order for the first time couple weeks ago. The ribs and chicken were very good. Unfortunately the brisket not so much it was very fatty. There was a sign up online for 10% off which I entered but for some reason the 10% would not post, when picking up had explained this to the person behind the counter, but was told there’s nothing he could do about it, and could not offer any kind of discount. Probably will try once again.

Ordered delivery. Pleasantly surprised! Ordered the ribs and mac & cheese. Both were more than I expected. Not sure why I got the mac & cheese since it's not my favorite thing. I seriously enjoyed it. Again, pleasantly surprised. Reasonably priced. Will definitely order from them again.

This place will simply put a smile on your face. Absolutely amazing BBQ joint in Arlington Heights. You will not be disappointed. My take order came very neatly packed, no leaks and with all the condiments. The Mac and Cheese is a must, perfect amount of garlic, nice and cheesy.

Tasty brisket and pulled pork - no sauce needed! Very fair prices. Mostly, if not all, house made offerings, including the desserts. Pecans for pecan pie are imported directly from Kankakee!! Come early - they were outta fries and banana cream pie when we came mid afternoon on a Sunday, but plenty full with what we had! Will return!
