I visited the ER back in August 2021. There were no rooms available so I had to be helped in the waiting room the entire time. I understand that we are in the midst of a pandemic so space is limited. For the quality of care I received, my bill was way too high. The room was dirty. I posted a video of a cockroach crawling around. The patient experience representative I contacted spoke very curtly to me.

I highly recommend using this facility for your medical needs. I've had several procedures at this facility over the last year and I couldn't be happier. The staff was great and always available. They always went out of their way to make sure I was cared for and comfortable during my stay. The food was always hot, tasty and on time. I have been to hospitals all over the world and this facility is number one, by far.

The hospital was superb in all aspects. The hospital was very easy to drive to, being located in a simple location to drive to. Parking was excellent and close to the entrance of the hospital thus requiring very little walking to or from the hospital to our vehicle. The check in at the front desk was easy and quick. The entire facility was well designed and modern and the safety protocol was great and very evident to me as a patient as well as my family members. The entire staff were not only professionals at all positions, but also very courteous and very nice to just simply talk to. I can summarize my overall evaluation with one word which may seem odd to some people but encompasses my thoughts totally. The word is “COMFORTABLE “ as that was the way I felt during my stay at the hospital.

My mother had a 10 day stay at Medical City Arlington over the Christmas weekend. I appreciate all the hard work and care doctors and nurses give their patients. Overall her stay was nice and she was well cared for. However, her family had to request a shower for my mom and even then she was not given one. On two days we had to give her the shower and once we started asking for supplies they came in to help. Her room was never cleaned after the waste basket in the bathroom was overflowing and towels were left all over I finally had to ask for it to be cleaned. My mother’s doctor would not call the family to give daily updates we had to ask him to call us. He would talk to my mom about her progress but she did not even recognize him as the doctor! Finally the medical staff needed to use my port to administered her medication. They discharged her with the port still active. I had to call the nursing supervisor to make arrangements to take her back to deactivate.

Last night, I had to go to the emergency room and was surprised by the condition of the room and the waiting area. Both areas were not just filthy  but they were a health hazard. The room I was in was not cleaned from the previous patient. On the floor underneath my chair was a band and a plastic cap with blood on the tip that was used to draw blood from the previous patient. After the nurse drew my blood, they left the used supplies on one of the machines. The thermometer covers that are placed on the thermometer before your temperature is taken were lying on the floor. Rather than discarding the cup after the nurses filled the necessary vials of urine, they left it on the table with an open hole on the lid. In one of the trays, there were open packages of supplies that had been used on  the previous patient. I've been to the ER a few times in the past, and  these areas were always well maintained. I'm very disappointed in MCA. On a positive note, the nurses, techs, & staff were amazing!!! I was treated with so much care and compassion.

From the time of check-in I was given a lovely experience. The volunteers at the from check-in Kiosk were so helpful & Bill was so funny! The nurse tech who assisted me was super personable and made me feel comfortable and it was nice talking with him. The pre-op nurses/advocates were informative and attentive to my needs. Before surgery my surgeon Dr. Moron gave a detailed and concise run-down of how the surgery would go and the time frame, he made me feel reassured that the surgery would go smoothly. I am so grateful for every staff member I encountered at Medical City Arlington.

This hospital, unfortunately is just one of those places that I would never return to. Plain and simple, slightly after 48 hours and with less than 3 hour notice thus not enough time for people to arrange to leave work or school early wanted to disconnect the life support attached to my brother. After expressing my thoughts and feelings and in a calm manner, they had 4 security guards come to escort me off of the property and told me that I couldn't go to my car and then leave. Not to mention the fact that they did it while it was cold and pouring down rain. The rain completely damaged both laptops that I had with me and the new phone that I only had for 2 weeks. The photos that I'm sharing are of the doctors stethoscope that he had no problem sitting on the trash can. When I asked him why he put them on the trash can he simply stated that he should have put them in the trash can because they were trash, just like everything else that the hospital provides him. Another thing is that I have used 2 Different restrooms since being here both had no Hand soap the public restroom downstairs didn't have paper towels to dry your hands either. The sad part is that a cafeteria worker that handles the food obviously didn't wash his hands correctly either. Gross...

Went in with chest pains and heavy breathing. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk and the check-in machine wasn't working. We were finally directed to another machine and waited in line. There were 5 other guests waiting besides me. I was called about 15 minutes after I checked in, which was great because I really wasn't feeling well. The doctor and nurse who supported me were extremely kind and attentive. They hooked me up on the echo machine right away and attended to me. I waited a while but also had a CT scan of my chest. They took my vitals and blood promptly. I got there about 9:45p and was released around 1:00a... I was a little nervous walking in, but I surprisingly received extraordinary service and the staff was extremely kind.

I have had the absolute WORST experience with Medical City Arlington. During my pregnancy I went to their maternity triage center twice. The nurses acted as if I was a huge inconvenience. In fact my husband and I could hear them talking at the nurses station about wanting to tell the next patient that they were full (they were most definitely not full). We also heard them say that some of the on call doctors will turn their pagers off so they can avoid taking patients. The nurse struggled with my fetal monitor and blood work. Fast forward to the day I delivered. Again, most of the nurses seemed absolutely over it. This was our 1st baby and just not a pleasant or welcoming place to give birth. When they broke my water it hurt and when I expressed this they said “well it shouldn’t” and left it at that. The nurses and ob on call were pushing for me to have a c section but thankfully my ob was on call and came in just in time so I was able to deliver naturally. The cherry on top is their HORRIBLE BILLING DEPARTMENT!!! We made a 400 dollar payment before leaving the hospital and they have lost it. They don’t know where it is. I have called every number available, sent banking statements to them etc. mostly I am told they just don’t know or it isn’t their problem. I have asked to be connected to some type of manager but every-time I get transferred the mail box is full or that department says it isn’t their responsibility.. and the cycle repeats itself. It is now November… I would love for someone to reach out and help me with the MAJOR problem. You can’t just take a patients money, lose it and offer no solution. I would caution anyone from doing business (because that’s what it is) with this establishment.

Every step of the way the staff surpassed my expectations. The ER staff, the surgeon and his team, the surgical team all top notch. The nurses and techs on the 2nd floor were so attentive and compassionate. I wound up having my birthday in the hospital and a very special nurse (Lauren) decorated my room with a banner, balloons and a little gift bag! Definitely made my day. Shout out to nutritional and housekeeping staff. They were all very friendly and did a great job! Kudos to everyone who helped me.

I would not recommend coming to this hospital. Some of the nurses and doctors may at times try hard but the medical chaos my uncle received is beyond disheartening for the entire 3.5 weeks he was here. The different doctors gave different prognoses within an hour of each other (and sometimes themselves and on multiple occasions) - how confusing is that? They did not listen to the families request and kept him drugged up so he slept and they didn’t have to deal with him. They did this multiple days after being told to take him off the sleeping meds. They mislead us until his Medicare was nearly out and then the doctors aligned their stories and said to move him out. They did what was easy for them and not what was best for the patient. After being in his room for a week, I realized the call button wasn’t plugged in. That’s why I had to continuously walk to the nurses desk when I needed help! They did an MRI on Friday but the doctors on Sunday were telling us they didn’t. The doctors didn’t even know how to read the software. Just dumb!

All the staff were very nice and helpful. A special shout-out to my nurse named Tess. She was very knowledgeable and willing to do anything to make me more comfortable. All the nurses were great but Tess went above and beyond anything I have experienced during my many hospital stays. I think she deserves a raise.

I really enjoyed my experience. I gave birth to my first child and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The nurses and doctors were very helpful overall, and most importantly, they were knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this hospital to everyone.

Wonderful place with amazing employees... walked in, absolutely no wait. I was asked about my medical problem, then my height, weight and blood pressure was taken. Within a couple of minutes I was in the back. They have a tablet in the room where you'll type in your information insurance, address, etc...Within an hour I had a x-ray and a detailed conversation with Dr. Sara about my foot. Nurse Isabel was awesome she wrapped my ankle while explaining to me how I should do it in the future. Everyone I encounter was super friendly. My new go to place. Never been to an hospital that doesn't keep you there at least a few hours.

Awesome staff of nurses and techs went above and beyond expectations. Always checking that you had everything you need. Now about the doctors that are contract employees of HCA (the company that owns all medical city hospitals) . These Dr's abilities are highly questionable. They have drank the corporate Kool aid. It's all about the bottom line not about getting the patient well. My recommendation is to stay out of any HCA facility. I apologize to the nursing staff for the 3 star rating , your doctors are dragging you down.

I cannot say enough good things about the hospital and staff! Everyone was so accommodating and made the time my mother spent there a great experience! Thank you to Dr Jani as well for his care and concern. The volunteers are incredible as well.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY MEDICAL ATTENTION. I came here with my aunt for 5 hours! She was put in a room and they ran a EKG and “ordered” for a X-ray but she never got her X-ray and was never told her results from the EKG. We sat four hours waiting for someone to come. We tried to call for a nurse and they looked at us and immediately walked away and never came back. Another nurse said they would get someone and never did. We finally left only to find out the night doctor signed off that he had seen her, but never once did he come and talk to her. How can we trust his care of he lies about what he’s done. I get they’re busy, but if you can’t take of one person efficiently than how can you take care of everyone else. Not to mention there was a very sick child in the waiting room that on the entire 5 hours was never seen. A man was ranting on the phone how he was there for hours and was never seen either. DO NOT GO!!!

Before surgery care was amazing!!! The nurses Kat and Gladys made me laugh and feel so comfortable. The surgical nurses were also amazing making sure all was correct. There was even a nurse in training that joined that was so nice! The after the surgery care was not as great. I felt horrible. Was throwing up and exited and told I would be fine taking care of myself at home. I was dressed and wheeled to my car throwing up. I told them I was dizzy as I have vertigo so bad! I was told to go home and take my medication.

Noel and Daniel are totally awesome! They will both tell you they are just doing their job but they both go much further for their patients. The ladies that took vitals were awesome too! They helped to make me more comfortable bring heat packs, ice packs and ice water. I appreciate the care that I received from this hospital and staff.

This is one of the best hospitals in the area. I feel no bad energy at this facility. The ICU nurses are pretty amazing, and the doctors and very good at their jobs. I would definitely bring my loved ones to this hospital again!

I understand that we are in the ER which can be busy at times but there is no reason as to why the ER nurses administered medication to my elderly grandmother, who was in the middle of a seizure and was not in her right mind to accept nor reject medication and did it without my mom present who was in the waiting room because they told her she could not come to the back because my grandmother was not in a room yet, but was in a room the whole time.... make it make sense. And when my mom asked why they gave her medication they wouldn't answer her and just left the room entirely only for a new nurse to come in without answers either. Then the new nurse came in and was completely rude, and told my grandmother to straighten her arm which was bent and shoved her arm straight and actually hurt her more. This is why we go to Arlington Memorial, the staff there actually treats patients with respect... I honestly wonder why some of these people choose a profession that helps people when they look so bothered. Oh and how does a hospital run out of pillows......

Highly recommend to anyone in the Arlington / Grand Prairie. Took my son to the ER last night and didn't have to wait long but most of all the staff was great, every single one of them. From the nurse to the doctor to the registrar to the CT technician. They all took great care of my son who was in terrible pain and that I appreciate so much! THANK YOU!

I’ve experienced a lot of problems with this hospital when I was pregnant and I wasn’t going to put a review but after I thought about this one incident I just want to let any other moms know to double check ur baby’s car seat if a nurse straps ur baby in. Me and my husband was going to put our baby in the seat but the lady that discharged us insisted so we let her sense these people are supposed to know what there doing… well as soon as she ditched me and my baby at the exit door instead of checking the car, I noticed she had Strapped my baby in completely wrong !. Im still very upset about all I had to deal with while being under this hospitals care, don’t even get me started on how rude staff can be. Anyways won’t be back .

Intake process was thorough and friendly. Pre-op department were cordial and professional. Post-op Women's Center gave careful attention to my needs. Nurses were kind. Food was good. I have only good things to say about my experience.

Nurse and food were great! No support for nursing staff. In room for 5 days bed linens weren’t changed, room wasn’t cleaned, nurses had to deliver food , no towels provided. What has happened to the overall care for patients. The nurses are trained to care for the patients not do all of the normal support staff duties

My first time visiting the Solis Imaging location. The waiting area was clean and nicely decorated. The receptionists at the front desk were very nice and helpful in registering patients. They were a bit loud when conversing amongst themselves however. Their appearances were too casual. I also didn’t like the area behind the receptionist area where they interview patients. There isn’t any privacy, and I could hear the discussions between the patient and receptionist. The radiologist was very professional and efficient, hence the reason I bumped this up to three stars. The waiting area in the radiology department was clean and comfortable.

I have been to Medical City Arlington multiple times this year and every time they are so friendly, they genuinely listen to you, talk you through what the plan is for the day, and never make me feel like I’m exaggerating or over the top. That is so important to me and I find their staff to be very patient as well! If you want attentive care, do not hesitate to come here. 🩷 The only downside is that it gets swamped sometimes and there can be long wait times for results. But that’s to be expected from a hospital.

All the staff here is top tier, best hospitality I’ve received at any hospital everyone was so hands on explained what they were going to do and did exactly what needed to be done dr even called before the surgery to explain the procedure I’m thankful for the emergency room staff and the staff on 3rd floor in observation they took care of my husband and nurse Carlos I would like to say thank you especially for making him comfortable very genuine straight forward person. Oh yeah and Ms. Tracy the ER very thorough made me feel better about everything I don’t remember other people names but everyone made our experience so special.

Medical City Arlington has been such a blessing to my family and I. We just had our daughter there and it was as my wife put it, “The greatest experience I have had delivering a baby!” This is our 5th child and again we have been so blessed by the LORD to meet everyone here and to deliver our child. May the LORD Jesus Christ bless this place 1,000,000 fold.

I can't begin to tell you how amazing charge nurse Linda Walker is. She always had a smile, a great conversation, and her care was exceptional. She was exactly what I needed during my time there. I never felt embarrassed with her help and she made sure I was never in pain so that I could do all the things needed to be released. She had a caring calmness about her. I instantly felt comfortable. Every nurse can learn from her. I will never ever forget her.

I called to schedule my annual women’s check and Candace was so wonderful. She was so friendly and nice. It is such a pleasure when calling to get assistance and you have a person on the other end as kind as Candace. She was patient with me while I looked at my calendar for me to see what day worked best for me. I appreciate her! Keep smiling!

I would have to say this has been the best visit to a hospital ever. The staff was wonderful and I love them all. ❤️ My nurse Sabrina is very country but hilarious. She was the highlight of my day. Sean walked in my room and started a conversation like I was his bestie. 😂 I thought Bob was a volunteer, but I was definitely wrong. Bob saved the day! Trina the nurse can not hide her face expressions to save her life. 😂 My doctor Ryan reminded me of the doctor from E.R just a younger version. He’s so kind and has good vibes. Everyone that cross my path in that hospital, I thank you! I send you nothing but love, peace, and many blessings.❤️❤️❤️

This is by far the worst hospital for bedside manner. They do not care how sick you are. I was there for Covid and pneumonia (ER), my test were taken upon arrival. I never saw the nurse or dr after test were taken just a discharge nurse. If I wouldn’t have asked my results she wouldn’t have given me an explanation of my test results. Not to mention getting to the pharmacy AFTER the nurse reassured us the prescription could be transferred. The pharmacy said they haven’t done that for years. Just plain out undeserved.

I had my daughter here 11 years ago. it was just okay not grate. A nurse scratched her face & no one told me about it. This recent visit was for my sister...she was admitted a few days ago& I spent a lot of time at the hospital...it's been the absolute worst experience & I'm not the one admitted! Avoid this hospital! We got moldy food in the cafeteria & her food also had mold that wasn't not from the cafeteria no one bothered replacing it.They're understaffed & the ones that are working either don't know what they're doing, don't care, or are over worked. It's beyond insanity! Doctors are not very nice either. The construction it's ridiculous! This would normally be my go to hospital but not anymore.

  • 5/5 Dd H. 9 months ago on Google
The ICU staff here is the best BAR NONE. My loved one has been at several hospitals in the last several years and all the nurses here were super professional and experienced. Never made faces or rude comments when called (which I've experienced EVERY single time at other hospitals in the area). They constantly kept the family informed. The entire care team worked cohesively: doctors, therapists, RNs. Wish the parking situation was better, though. Try to avoid the crazy drivers on the ER side of the hospital. Better to park on the side closest to Matlock and the professional offices, if you can.

They are good.I remember being here a few months back and I thought I was going to returned due to pain in my ribs and back area again but I managed to get better. They treated me real good while I was in there care!! I did not like when I received multiple IV’s and I was hook on a machine. Yep I wasn’t happy.. But overall they are good!!

Medically, great care. Communications with doctors was very one-way. Lots of questions asked of me, lots of communication from me to them. Almost zero communications from doctors back to me regarding care plan. In fact, I had two people come down and say "we're here to prep you and take you up for your procedure" Excuse me, what procedure?!?! Whatever you were planning on doing, cancel it until I get a doctor down here to explain what is going on.

The nurses and doctors were phenomenal and very detailed when it came to my care. I was taken in promptly, triaged, and treated as if I was the only patient present. First, the PA came to my bedside to give her diagnosis. Once she discovered that I was having concerns with chest and arms pains, the ER doctor on call came and gave a more detailed examination. I felt that they covered every aspect and ran every test possible, while answering all of my questions. Thank you for reassuring me that we still have healthcare professionals that genuinely care about people!

I wanted to state how awesome this place was to me the last couple of days from the ER to a room stay for a few days. The nurses, techs, & staff were amazing!!! I was treated like a human-being with so much care and compassion. God bless you alls lives with much abundance! Continue to serve with purity in your hearts and God will bless you! Thank you it was greatly appreciated!

Signed up for the maternity tour a few weeks ago, drove 30 min in tonight for the 6-7pm tour to only be told by a security guard at the front that “nobody showed up for the earlier tour, so they cancelled. They’re bad at communicating, sometimes they don’t call.” This is the last thing I want to hear about a hospital I’m supposed to trust with not only my life, but my unborn child’s. I am disgusted by this total lack of regard for your current/future patients. How can we take you seriously if you can’t even communicate to your prospective patients? I’m glad I came to see for myself before I’m disappointed during labor.

The doctor I had, Jessica, was going to send me back home when I was at 4 cm and IN pain and my heart rate was up until this male doctor (savior) popped in the room and told her that im in pain and my heart rate is up and telling HER that I am in LABOR. She was just rude the whole night and didn’t even give any words of comfort just pop in and out. I had a 4 degree tear and NONE of the doctors during that time checked up on me or even gave me STOOL SOFTENER before I left. All I can say I felt very neglected , and still face issues with my tear up until this day since November, this was the worst pregnancy and labor and medical help I have ever recieved just because I have “Medicaid” and I felt so little. The nurses HOWEVER at medical city, hands down to them for having waaayyy more compassion annd suppper helpful. And they’re the sweetest both emergency, delivery and baby and mom room.
