I have contemplated about making a review because the manager tried so hard to fix what was done. I am now months later still trying to grow my hair back. I went to this salon my first time ever going and I was super blonde platinum. Over the phone I was quoted 175-200. I went and the person Haleigh I was assigned to then told me for a full all over red was $300. I was okay with it a little in shock but was excited to transform me hair. The red color was good I was just in shock at that time. The haircut that was given did not come out to what I wanted. After going home I wanted to come back to fix the haircut. I wanted layers and it shorter. The haircut I got I was in tears over. She cut deep into my hair and did not layer it but cut all my hair off! I had to come back again crying and the manager helped fix it and then offered to fix it and gave me another hair color so I would feel better, and then she offered an additional one cut and color on the house. I appreciate her sooo much. But I still am now stressed over my hair. It’s still not even and I can’t cut it off anymore we have done the most to try to get it to a normal haircut. Please be aware of this. Not that the salon itself is bad but the hair dresser Haleigh did know what she was doing when I asked for layers really messed up my hair. The blonde is before and the red is obviously after!

I have been going to Amber for all my crazy hair requests for nearly a decade now. A number of years back she mentioned how it was her dream to own her own salon and when she did it, she did it right! This place is an amazing salon with amazing stylists. Although I am biased to Amber, a number of the other girls have also done my hair when Amber wasn't available. No matter who you get, they take care of you. They treat you like family and like you belong in their craziness. They can literally do it all. I have had every color of the rainbow and my requests are always out there, but they ALWAYS accommodate. They are up front about what is manageable, costs and time it will take which is greatly appreciated. Plus, the salon itself is a very inviting and fun atmosphere. No matter who and what you get, you will love your hair. 10/10 recommend.

Kim was so nice and helpful she did such a wonderful job on my daughters hair, I have never seen it so beautiful. She gave my daughter the confidence she needed to rock her natural hair. Will for sure be coming back!!

Me and my daughter have been going to Sugar Shack since they were at the old location. My regular stylist is Vicki, she has always exceeded my expectations when I come in with a new hair request. I highly recommend her if you are interested in extensions. I also want to point out that I have seen most of the Sugar Shack stylist and i have always happy with my hair. Kim is wonderful and very patience with my daughters that have curly hair. Amber has established a very welcoming environment. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I have ever done my hair this drastic and I can honestly say I was blown away by how amazing this color turned out! This is exactly what I was looking for! As you can tell by the huge smile on my face I was ecstatic! I will always come here from now on to get my hair done. Haleigh was an amazing stylist and definitely understood the assignment by going above and beyond! She The entire time I was there she made sure I was comfortable and offered me drinks and snacks that the salon provided. From the moment I walked into Sugar Shack it felt super warm and welcome and they even have a super rad waiting area. This is definitely the place to come for all your hair needs! I will never go anywhere else!

I went in to get a haircut & my experience was amazing! Ashley did an incredible job of tailoring the experience to me & helping me come up with a style that would work for me everyday life. The environment is so laid back, comfortable, & super cool! I will definitely be back in the future!

Sugar Shack is like NO other salon. They are all so welcoming and sweet. I’ve been going to them on and off for a couple years now and regret every time I chose another salon over them. Amber, the owner, and Ashley, a stylist were so sweet to accomodate me in an emergency where my haircut was messed up by another salon. They welcomed me and comforted me in my distress lol. I also get my waxes done here by Claudia, and she is also an angel. I promise I will never stray away again. The vibes are all amazing here. 5 billion stars.

AMAZING. Absolutely amazing! The salon is beautiful so fun and colorful and clean. Everyone is friendly and inviting. They play great music plenty of TVs just 10/10 experience. Vikki is incredible. She did a complete overhaul of my hair and it is the best color service I have ever had. I’ve never walked out of a salon 100% satisfied with cut and color until today. I 100% recommend this salon!

This place is amazing 🤩 Clean and such positive energy from all the staff and clients around. Ashley was my hairstylist and she delivered. I showed her a pic and she nailed it and then some!!!I She understood what I was aiming for but also made it my own. Which I love. I love the fact she was detailed and gave me good tips on styling it and the maintenance. Definitely a place to recommend to family and friends. If you come by please give my girl Ashley a try cause she is the best!!!! 🙌🙌🙌

If you haven't taken your curls to Kim yet, I'm not sure what you're waiting for! She is so sweet and personable and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about curly hair. I'd recommend her to ANYBODY for a curly cut or coloring service, you won't regret it! To top the experience off, the entire staff was sweet and welcoming. Well worth the visit!

Year 3 of coming here & it’s the best decision I’ve made! There is such a positive, inclusive & kind vibe here at this salon! Ambers been doing my hair- & it’s just phenomenal!!! I always feel so comfortable and confident in her chair. Honestly, if she wasn’t available I would still trust that any of these girls can do just as good! The team is great about communicating about the pricing & my hair goals. If you are needing to try/find a new place… 10/10 recommend Sugar Shack!!

First time coming here & I am a fan! Not only did Ashley do a phenomenal job of helping give my hair new life and a new (also versatile) look, but the whole place is a literal vibe. It was nice to see each stylist taking time to understand the needs of their client (whether it was done in silence, small talk, or just fun conversations) the whole place is iconic. The artwork is mostly local and pop-art theme. The colors are bright and fun matching the personalities of most the people who work here. Even scheduling was quick and efficient with the options of calling in or going on their socials. It may seem on the higher price end to some, but I promise it’s worth it. These stylists don’t cheapen the experience, and a lot of them fork out a lot of money upfront to give you the best. It’s an investment to make sure you look and feel your best & they understand that. I will definitely come back and HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for good people who do GREAT work.

I absolutely love this salon. The women are all friendly and helpful. They have a very cool vibe in the salon and you can tell they want you to love your hair. Ashley is who I go to and she loves doing short hair which is perfect for me. I'd highly recommend Sugar Shack to anyone needing somewhere to go

I love this salon SO MUCH! I went here for the first time to have a big chop done on my hair after hearing so many good things from one of my close friends. I am so happy I listened, because from the moment I called to make the appointment, I felt so welcomed. The staff is super friendly and so considerate! The prices are great for the quality of service that you receive. Not to mention the salon itself is adorably decorated so waiting in the lounge for your appointment feels like no issue. I had my hair done by Haleigh, and I adore my short hair now! I will definitely be coming back again and maybe try some fun colors too. Thank you so much, Haleigh and the Sugar Shack staff!

YALL. Sugar Shack hooked me up and I got THE BEST treatment out of any salon I've been too. New from out of town, and adored this place. Amanda, my stylist, gave me THE BEST fall balayage a girl could ask for. LGBTQIA+ friendly, and super chill. They even gave me a mimosa while I waited!
