This was a 15$ salad. There is processed chicken, and romaine lettuce. That’s it. It was supposed to have quinoa, and other things. Absolutely not worth it.

I was excited to see a store offering Fusion foods the combinations were a little nuts but so am i so why not i said !! I ordered 3 empanadas sweet potato was ok Chicken empanada ok beef was ok too .... I worked in food service as Executive chef of many NYC locations and realized that they were stamped like from a commissary . Not store made . The Bibimbop Rice bowl was ok . The killer today was the pork belly rice bowl this was not good , white rice smothered in Sweet Thai Chili Sauce and chunks of old pork belly and where was the crackling nowhere to be found. The highlight of the meal was the fried egg , Like you cant mess that up right luckily for them that was on point a perfect fried egg wasted over mediocre rice and store bought sweet thai chili sauce isnt fusion ....... Please get your flavors in check , i will not order from here again empanadas were ok for not being made in store ....Because this owner cant take consumer reviews and makes an argument out of any review they disagree with i will extend not an apology but now my brutal honesty this place sucks food is horrible and those that eat here must definitely have major problems with there palette!!!! Its like they let a 10 year old put random flavors together , In the words of Gordon Ramsey learn to cook you Muppet !

I am a huge fan of their Empanadas and steamed buns! I love that they have vegan options which come in handy when we order out with friends with dietary restrictions. Only place around to get a malted banana milkshake which is out of this world. The owner is a great guy and will definitely take great care of you. Definitely give Twisted Soul a shot when you are in the Poughkeepsie Area!!

Incredibly slow service. It wasn’t crowded and it took us 25 minutes to get our salad and noodles. The other customers all had long waits as well, despite there being many employees who weren’t doing anything or were working very slowly. The food itself was horrible. As a complete salad connoisseur, their flavorless American Beauty Salad was inedible. The Tofu Noodle Bowl was lacking both salt and flavor. We had to dispose of both of our meals.

My boyfriend and I came here for our lil monthsary and even though they were only serving to go orders, the staff was so nice and there was no wait. There was a seating area just to the right of the place and when I tell you the food here is phenomenal-- omg. I forgot to picture my hibiscus tea and his vegan ice cream cookie but those were also amazing. We traveled from far to try this place out and it did not miss. Def plan on returning here for a future monthsary.

Food and drinks were great. Had the pulled pork arepas, fried plantain, chicken dumplings, and chicken and sweet potato empanadas. Love that there is so much to choose from on the menu...truly something for every palette, which makes it unique from other restaurants. Prices are reasonable. Staff could be friendlier/more focused on customer service.

Tasty food! A little too pricey for the amount and a little too much fusion to be perfect at all the menu items, but overall good execution. For carry out we got lamb dumplings, a chicken empanada, a chicken curry rice bowl, and pork belly steam buns. Everything was pleasant (pork buns were the favorite) though for $50 for 2 people we weren’t exactly full. The building space is set up well for a college-style restaurant with an emphasis on carry out. Would get again.

A good experience… get the Mexican hot Chocolate. Delicious. The empanadas were ok. I tried the grilled chicken Yudon noodles. the pork dumplings were so delicious. Overall, I’ll try other meals because everything was made fresh to order. Can’t wait to try the warm red wine. Thank you for the hospitality!

I had the BBQ pulled pork rice bowl and it was so ridiculously delicious, I ate every last piece of rice. It’s a takeout place - only two small tables inside. Fantastic menu with lots of choices, so many different flavors, all four meals we ordered were thoroughly enjoyed and devoured.

Twisted Soul is Southeast Asian and Latin American fusion. This is one of my family's favorite places. Honestly, you could get better versions of any of these dishes, but when you want to come for a great variety of good quality this is a perfect spot.

The food is absolutely amazing! The BBQ pulled pork rice bowl is my go-to when I want to treat myself or I need some stress relief lol. I am giving TS 5 stars, because the food is that good, but the primary drawback are the unpredictable hours of operation. It closes for an hour in the afternoon and then re-opens, which is a bit strange. Sometimes the restaurant will be closed for weeks at a time, seemingly out of nowhere. I understand Covid likely had a negative impact, but I haven't seen this type of inconsistency at other restaurants. If you are walking by and they are open though, definitely try them! The food is phenomenal.

Tastebud paradise. Visiting Twisted Soul, gave me the most delectable experience i've had in quite awhile: sampling Ira Lee's dishes and Brenda's yummy pastries, from the take out restaurant and the bakery across the street demonstrate what true passion can bring to one's inspirational focus, whatever that may be. This culinary power couple is driven and their good vibes pervade their dishes and baked yummies and you know what? It rubs off: i've gotten several projects done after enjoying Twisted Soul's international cuisine. I have to make a new to do list now. Coming back to Twisted Soul is already number one and the next time, i will take photos because, even as take out, the presentation is beautiful. A big shout out to the great staff as well who calmly and ensusiastically get everything together, apparently even when it's super busy.

Visiting from Houston and we absolutely love this place! The salmon philly cheese is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Southern food elevated with a twist, can’t go wrong.

Has a rice bowl and yuca fries. The bowl was fantastic but the fries were hard and dry. Figured the fries would be easy to get right but apparently not. I will def return but for the other interesting items on the menu.

This is by far some of the best food I’ve ever had! I ordered the Vassar Noodle Bowl and it was so full of flavor. I love the fusion of different styles to create a perfect blend of deliciousness. I also ordered a Bubble Thai Iced Coffee. It was perfect. I’ve heard a lot about this place and I’m so glad my wife and I decided to stop in. We’ll definitely come again

The food is delicious and the menu has plenty of options to cater to whatever you may be in the mood for. The only problem was figuring out which options we wanted to try and which we had to leave behind.

It was hard to pick a dish from the menu to eat, simply because there were so many options that sounded amazing! We went for the bibimbap with tofu and kimchi and loved it. They also have many vegetarian and vegan options available. Plus many delicious drinks!

I'm not trying to hurt anyone's business, ever. But we were not happy with the 2 dishes we ordered. The flavors were good, food was fresh, portions of carbs were huge, but it's like the dishes were unfinished. We were very glad to find vegan and gluten free options where there are very few. Maybe beggars can't be choosers. It just seems these 2 dishes that we ordered (curry noodle and mad rice) were missing so much. There should be vegetables in a curry noodle dish. It was a huge bowl of noodles with a tasty curry, a few herb leaves, 2 slices of radish, a 1/2 tsp scallions, and 3 medium-sized pcs of tofu that I cut smaller to help me feel like i was eating more. The rice dish had like 2 tbs shredded tofu which is measly for protein, and again no veggies. I feel like there's a lot of creativity here and they've got a good start, but what we had was unsatisfying. We'd gladly take smaller portions of carbs to get some more protein and a nice portion of vegetables. I'd rather have more actual food than just a "food concept". I wish them well, but we wouldn't be back unless the food changed.

Really, really good food, however the store hours posted are more of a suggestion that actual hard fact. Plenty of times the phone might be off the hook, or the phone line just gives you a busy signal that day, or they are away catering an event and forgot to leave a voicemail saying they were closed, or the store owners are just on vacation for a week and the only place they posted it was on the front door, or even it just super busy and no one wants to pick up the phone. Again, really good food, IF you can get it. Expect it to be closed about half the time you want to eat there. OPEN - 5 stars CLOSED - 0 stars AVERAGE - 3 stars
