Today I had an out of body experience at Hurricane Grill & Wings. I came in just looking for a place to eat but as soon as I walked in I knew that this would be much more. The vibe was instantly super accepting and fun. All ages were enjoying food, talking, watching the game, or a combination of the 3. My family was quickly seated and asked what we wanted to eat. My jaw dropped when I read about the McDaddy burger, and it must have dislocated because it dropped farther when the food arrived (it arrived very quickly as well). Basically what the McDaddy burger is, is a 1/2 lbs burger with peppers, onion, lettuce, tomato, and everything you would put on a burger. Oh, and they put MAC & CHEESE BITES ON THE BURGER!!! I very likely shaved a few years off my life expectancy but it was worth it. The amazement didn't stop at my plate though. My brother got a burger in between 2 quesadillas overflowing with cheese. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! 110%, 1000/10, 10x👍.

⭐️ -Very nice bar/restaurant. Beach/tiki vibe. I had a visit for lunch on a Wednesday it was very quiet. Full bar and lots of space. I assume the evening brings a more up-beat. I had chicken casadilas and a mojito as a drink. The Bartender was really nice and polite. Very clean and tidy establishment. Overall good experience. Will recommend as a visit for anyone looking for a nice place to eat and drink casually 👌 👍

Very nice staff, always. Food is what you'd expect at a wings joint, and we'll priced. House wine is bottom-of-the-barrel, but they have a nice selection of spiked seltzers (which made me happy) and plenty of drink specials. Good live music on Saturday nights too!

I had crab tater tots with calamari and hubby had the ahi tuna taco's. Both were awesome!

The food was EVERYTHING!!! Luckily we got there when it wasn’t so busy so the food arrived quickly. The staff was friendly and welcomed us immediately. In my Arnold voice, “I’ll be back!”

Lauren is awesome at the bar, keeps us coming back. Good dipping sauces also. Definitely stop by if you want some good drinks with some bar snacks

Great fresh , hot , amazing food. The best boneless buffalo wings I ever had. The nachos mmmmmm, the best chicken sandwich!! The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing and I felt like I was in the Bahamas. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family. I’ll give it 10 stars if I could.

This was my 1st time ordering and will be my last. I ordered on UberEats, and spent $109. The burger was dry and the order of calamari had the batter falling off and the calamari itself was like eating leather. This was a horrible, expensive mistake

Waiting for my wife's dentist appointment so stopped in for a quick bite. Sat at the bar and had a shrimp appetizer and dessert. Bartender very friendly. Only reason not 5 stars is 2 different people from kitchen brought my food to the bar and barely acknowledged me and walked away. Other than that a fun place and good food.

This place is hit or miss. Some days the food is great and other days it’s over priced fast food. The prices are high for what they provide. I recommend dining in over take out. I just never find their take out to be worth it. Almost $18 for a sampler which doesn’t have a lot of food compared to a place like chili’s where the sampler could be your meal. They charge extra for every sauce but usually forget to put it in the bag so you have to check. They forgot my pizza the last time we ordered but the manager made good on the mistake.

The Hurricane Grill and wings is a fantastic stop. The prices range from $15 and up. They do have a few cheaper options. The sodas and lemonade are unlimited refill. The garlic Parm sauce is a must try. You can't stop because it tastes so good. The staff is polite and friendly. The experience is unlike anything else. It's definitely worth it and a must try. The deserts were also quite tempting and a should try. Everything from the decorations to the food to staff was unmatched. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. They have eating outside and in; So why not stop by for a quick bite.

Nice patio. Don’t ever order delivery though. They send the delivery guy with like 5-6 deliveries at a time so your order always takes an hour and a half and it’s cold when it arrives. Also, tried delivery twice thinking they wouldn’t forget the sauce a second time, but sure enough I was wrong.

Very casual dining environment which is great for hanging out with friends after work. However, service was wanting. Prices are on the high side considering the type of establishment and basic bar food available. Spent over $40 for 2 margheritas, fried pickles and kettle chips. Regardless of service issues, it is a good location so we'd go more often but it's too expensive for us to go there on the regular.

Nice place especially with the covid pandemic... Outdoor seating. Friendly service... I have an emotional support dog didn't have my papers with me but they still allowed me 2 stay they could obviously see that I am disabled after a horrible accident last December... Food is great and affordable... Highly recommend.

Kevin was our server. He was very attentive and friendly. Ordered the pretzel with beer cheese, Spicy Tater Tots (forget the actual name of the dish), and Boneless wings. My virgin strawberry daiquiri was really tasty.

My family and I ate dinner tonight at Hurricane Grill and Wings in Poughkeepsie. We are loyal customers who eat at Hurricane's. Tonight we experienced the worst service imaginable. It started off when I asked if I could substitute another side instead of chips and salsa and was told I could not. We placed our order including boneless wings as an appetizer. Then, Brett our waiter told us we could only get 3 sauces instead of 4 which was not that way last month. My daughter and I finished our drinks and were not asked if we needed refills. All of a sudden all the food came out including our appetizer. I said to our waiter that we wanted the wings before dinner and that they should be comped. He spoke to the manager who agreed. Not once did the manager come over to make sure things were okay. The waiter did not ask us how our dinner was. The waiter started talking bad about us to the customers that were behind us which is very unprofessional. We had to ask for the check and for two containers. At this point, the waiter apologized. I said to him that he provided the worst service my family and I have experienced and we would probably not be back. I said you did not once try to make things better with the appetizer until I suggested it be comped. Also, you did not ask us how our food was done nor get us refills until you were asked. The waiter walked around our table 4 times not asking if we needed refills. He said thank you for the constructive criticism and that he would try to do better. He did however give the table in front of us better service than us. He was very passive aggressive and the manager should have dealt appropriately with him. On a positive note, the food was good.

Family of 6 dined outside, food was good. Drinks were not cold by the time they got to us. Overall environment was not very great. We have tried this location multiple times and had the same feelings each time. Was not bad, but definitely not something I'd go out of my way for.

Did not have a great experience at all when I came here. The broccoli I ordered was covered in mold so I brought it to the server’s attention since I am severely allergic to mold and she was very understanding about it, but when she brought back the replacement it still had mold on it. The server brought this to the managers attention and I received a gift card so I thought everything was resolved. But as soon as we left there my boyfriend got terribly sick from the food he had eaten and we had to cancel our plans for the rest of the night. The cooks in the kitchen are definitely not doing their job right. But on a positive note, our server was fantastic!

We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside for lunch on what will likely be the last really beautiful day with weather this fall so we were extremely happy that they still had outdoor seating. We just had burgers but they were both very good and we had a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert which we enjoyed very much. Our waiter Jay was excellent and very attentive and friendly and he also answered a couple of questions that we had for when we looked to go back the next time.

What an amazing wing spot. Had 5 delicious varieties of wings. The Coco Loco flavor is unique and fun. The ridiculously hot flavor held its own. Very very hot. I love hot wings and these did not disappoint. Would highly recommend. Chris@ North East Ford

This place never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the food is good, and it's a little oasis right in Poughkeepsie. We've been here a number of times, but yesterday was the first time I ever ordered a coffee. It was surprisingly good!

Food was great, nothing extraordinary. We went on a slow Wednesday evening, so the staff was taking their time which is fine, but it took longer than expected to receive refills and the check. Overall the vibe of the restaurant is fantastic with the beach house decor, but the food quality and service could be improved.

I had a great time, my burger was great. Although they did mess it up once, I understand people make mistakes. The decoration is also amazing, I feel like Im actually at the beach. The only negative I have is that there is very loud music around the bar.

I was in upper nyc area and Google a place for lunch and came across this gem. Very clean restaurant, service was excellent and the food was delicious. If you don't know what you want. GET ANY OF THE HAMBURGERS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Very good selection of beer on tap also.

Love this place!! Been a customer for 5+ years now, and that’s not by accident!! Great food, drinks and atmosphere!! The best bartenders and I LOVE the outside patio…..it’s hard to believe that you are sitting in Poughkeepsie, it feels like a beachside bistro. My favorite drink is a Solarita and I love the Mexican street corn, too!! Local bands have been known to liven up a Saturday night, so THAT’s always fun….. All in all, just gotta say, I love Hurricane’s Bar and Grill!!❤️😋

Always have enjoyed eating here over the years as the food is dynamic and the atmosphere is fun. Has tvs for game days and both table, bar, and outdoor table seating, making it family friendly. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are available too. Regularly there are drink specials, and veterans eat free on veterans day off of a special menu. Never had a bad meal here, would highly recommend.

Decent for what it is. The wings were good. My biggest complaint is they dont have free refills in sodas and no one tells you until the bill comes. It’s kind of a given that sodas have free refills in a chain place like this.

This is a great spot for wings! The layout is extra awesome if it's a nice day. The ambiance definitely makes you feel like you're near a beach. They do a top-notch job on the wings and have a lot of delicious flavors! The other appetizers are good as well. The only gripe I have about this location is the draft beer tastes like the lines don't get cleaned often. They have plenty of bottles to choose from though!

Really great atmosphere. I love coming here on the weekend for wings and an ice cold beer. The service is a bit slow but worth it for the great quality food. The servers are also really nice and friendly. Will always recommend. PS: habanero lime is the best flavor wings

This place is absolutely amazing! I had the ribs and my fiance had coconut Shrimp tacos and just wow! Absolutely amazing food and the manager and waiter were so kind. I definitely recommend this place!

i have been here a multiple of times. the wings are very good. the service by kevin was very good the margarita had an Undetectable amount of alcohol. i drank it in on an empty stomach and never felt it. asked for a solo shot and i felt that inside of consuming a quarter of it. the manager proceeded to lecture me on how i should have told him before consuming it. the only way i knee there was no alcohol is because i never felt it, after finishing it. they handled it very poorly. the salsa was out of a can and frankly chili’s salsa is way better, as are their margaritas. very disappointing :-(. i won’t come back. buffalo wild wings are better.

This was my second time giving this place a try. Now it's my last. Once again I ordered online and I cant even understand why it's so difficult for them to get the order correct. I asked for sauce on the side and they got that right. I asked for no green onions on the korean taco but I received tasteless meat in a flour tortilla....no onions didn't mean no flavor/no slaw that was advertised with this meal. I'm done giving this place a try. I wanted delivery so I didnt have to cook tonight but instead I had to re prepare the food with flavors before I could eat it because it was gross so bland.

I had a less than satisfactory delivery order and Marcus, the manager went all the way out of his way to not only contact me, but personally checked over the replacement. He was more than generous making up for the previous mistake. The time he took was more than expected and ultimately turned a negative experience to an overwhelmingly positive experience.
