Not pleased with Mimi's. Has been a while since we visited last time, but we wanted to get some good brunch and a couple of years ago has been good. This time I felt that the prices are very high for the portions served, specially the add on of the peppers and onions for 1.99, the server didn't mentioned that it would be an upcharge, but check the pictures, only a spoonful of it and the flavors were not impressive either. The server was friendly but seems to have too many tables, he will take a while to circle back and do refills and such. The good: we didn't had to wait too long for a table because we called ahead. The server was quick to get our drinks and take our order. The food didn't took long to arrive, and... The best part of the visit, and I was happy to see again is the guy that cleans the tables, he's the fastest worker I've ever seen, I recommend you visit the restaurant just to see him working, the customers haven't even left the building and he has the table ready. Personally I won't think we'll be back anytime soon, main reason is the overpriced items.

We ordered Chicken and Waffles an My Egg Benedict with Roasted potatoes Brunch was very good food was awesome. Customer Service was great my waitress was very friendly she had sure we were good all the time. She help with my order cause it was my first time eating here. Thank you I really enjoyed it.

My fiancé and I went to Mimi’s midday on a Thursday. We were immediately greeted by multiple staff and seated. Anna was our waiter. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and overall, provided excellent customer service. The food was so tasty. The avocado omelet, sided with potatoes, peppers, & onions almost put me in a food coma. Will be back soon to relax and eat on the patio. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great job Anna! Thanks. 🖤

Great restaurant for fire breakfast. We were having a mini family reunion breakfast. The service and waiting team were fantastic and very personable. The food was made fresh and hot when arrived at table. Everything was delicious! Portions were big as well. I can see why place kept busy but were quick to accommodate our party. Side note, it is cold in the restaurant.

My fiancé and I came here for my birthday brunch. Nestor was our server and he was fabulous! I came here expecting to get breakfast but I saw the dinner menu and knew I wanted to get the pot roast, he suggested that I get the French pot roast instead. What an excellent suggestion. Who knew pot roast at 10 am would be so good! The meal was divine. He was such a delight. So helpful, he checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and delivered our drink refills promptly. When we want delicious food and great service we will be back. Thank you Nestor!

Delicious food, breakfast served all day large selection of menu items. Large portions great attentive staff. 1st time visit, will definitely not be the last. Call ahead seating available.

Marquita was our server for our breakfast here! She was very attentive and went above and beyond to meet my needs! I can be very picky when it comes to eating out, but she graciously offered the best suggestions. High quality service from her!

Sitting here now in the calm aura, after finishing a wonderful brunch. I had the Pain Perdu w/ mixed berries. Absolutely delicious! She had the Bacon Ham and Sausage Omelet. We shared a "plain" waffle that was actually better than the entree, if that's even possible. But the 5* rating is for the service, THE MIMOSAS, and the overall experience. Lulu (our server) was gracious, helpful, and attentive.

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stop for brunch before heading back home. There was a nice size crowd dining in but we we were still seated quickly. Unfortunately us being seated quickly was the best part of the service we received. Our waitress took about 10 minutes before she came to our table and eventually the hostesses ended up taking our drink order because our waitress couldn’t be bothered with it. Our waitress was an older woman with short hair and seemed annoyed the few times she approached our table. Even asking her for napkins seemed to be too much for her to handle and she rolled her eyes. The service at this restaurant was 1 star, which is sad because the food was 5 star. We don’t live in the area, so we likely will never be in the area again to eat at this restaurant. The other wait staff members seemed nice, so I hope other diners have a better experience than we had. The food was very delicious but the poor service from the waitress dampened our dining experience.

I really enjoy this restaurant, because the food no matter what you order is very very good. The service is terrible so don’t ever go on a holiday or the weekend. It will be a long wait and the servers are very rude and not attentive at all during that time. we had a reservation and still had to wait about 45 minutes just to get seated. It was a mess. The croissants are good and I also got a cranberry orange muffin which was pretty good. The popsicle mimosa is not that great. It’s really a waste of money to be honest just get the mimosa flights.

Loved Mimi’s before ours closed down so it was nice to see one open and thriving. Our waiter, Nestor was fantastic and made our experience even better. He was so nice and very attentive. You don’t find a whole lot of great service many places but he is top notch! Would definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mimi's Cafe in the Highlands, Arlington, Texas, where I was fortunate enough to be served by the exceptional Nestor. Nestor's attentive and friendly service made my dining experience truly remarkable. From the moment I was seated, Nestor made me feel welcome and at home. He was prompt in taking my order and made several recommendations from the menu, which I greatly appreciated. Throughout my meal, Nestor checked on me frequently to ensure that everything was to my liking and that I had everything I needed. What really stood out to me about Nestor was his genuine warmth and positive energy. He had a very personable demeanor and was always ready with a smile. His attention to detail was also impressive, as he made sure my table was clean and tidy throughout my meal. Not only was Nestor an excellent waiter, but he also had a deep knowledge of the menu and was able to answer all of my questions about the dishes. He even took the time to share some of his personal favorites with me, which I ended up ordering and absolutely loved. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Mimi's Cafe, and it was largely thanks to Nestor's exceptional service. He went above and beyond to make sure that my meal was enjoyable and memorable. I will certainly be returning to Mimi's Cafe in the future, and I can only hope that I am lucky enough to be served by Nestor once again.

I love this place! They keep an amazing variety on the menu, and everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. I’ve also noticed that the management seems particularly interested in the all-around customer experience, which I appreciate.

Great food. Large portions. Went as a group of 21 and while we didn't need to pre-book, some of the food came a bit late. The staff were great though.

For a strange reason, my meal took 15 minutes longer to arrive than everyone else's, which I was mot pleased about. The menu photo was more appealing visually than the real thing. The house cocktail margarita was very good.

The servers were really awesome here however I probably wouldn’t come back unless it was happy hour. The drinks were pretty pricy for quality.

I love this place. I've been there a few times but, this is my second time going back for my birthday. Both times the brunch was great. Both times, I got the breakfast. Will recommend this place and go back. On top of that, I don't know who paid for my food but, someone blessed me and my daughter and paid for our food. Whoever they were, I pray God bless them a hundred fold back in return by blessing US 🙏🏾 Lord I/We thank you 🙏🏾 it was such a great birthday for me and again the food were great. Go try it for yourself.

Great place for a friendly gathering. Food it good but a-little price. Hot chocolate was so yummy!

An incredible cafe. I loved everything about Mimi's Cafe. I was seated immediately, my server was friendly, got multiple coffee refills plus one for the road. I had the pumpkin pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheddar that were perfectly cooked, and crispy bacon just like I asked. Next time I'm in town, definitely going back to Mimi's.

First time visit for us and probably the last. We ordered sweet tea which was not. I ordered the slow roasted turkey dinner. The food was cold when brought out. (The wait time on the food was long even though the place was not busy.) The server also took his time replacing the dirty silverware given to us earlier. I decided to get the food to go and try to salvage it at home by microwaving it. This did not help. The place was not busy and quiet which we did enjoy.

I had worst experience in this place. First ordered mimosa and waiter didnot even know i was ordering carafe if they had one but she brought big bottle of champagne with 3 different flavors juice. Second my husband order toast burger and i ordered jambalaya pasta. Toast had weird oil smell and with pasta it was over cooked. Last thing is the waitress she was not good with customer service.

Amongst worst meal in an extremely long time. Ordered a three egg omelet that was about the size of my palm. Likely used 3 quail eggs. They said it was 3 measured eggs. Ordered replacement meal shrimp pasta. It was $20 for 4 shrimps and 3 broccoli heads. Horrible flavor. Basically ate my $5 per shrimp plate and 3 Broccoli heads. Let all the pasta it was horrible tasting.

Food was great, service was awesome. Our server was Marquita and she was so sweet and attentive to our needs. We had the cornbeef hash and potatoes and the Chicken and Waffles. If you go ask for Marquita!!!

Okay I can tell you this it’s good had me really tasting the chicken in the chicken parmigiana and for the corn chowder. Thick.. this place is something you can really talk about to someone or take and enjoy quality time come I’d come again

The restaurant itself is ok but the service is horrendous. Waited a long time to order and even when I we got our drinks he forgot 2 drinks. Food came around and the steak was hard even though it was Medium Rare, the steak was Grey and had a freezer burn taste, couldnt even finish it. Potatoes and eggs were good though.

French onion soup anyone? The quiche are delicious. And a side of tasty country potatoes. Tea keeps pouring. Many other food options and sides. The ambiance is very aesthetic. The staff is courteous and professional You can't go wrong. Enjoy. Came in not knowing what to eat. Ordered the chicken pot pie. Delicious, a piece of heaven. Their ingredients make a difference. Definitely hooked. A place to visit on my travels, a good meal every time. Staff is always polite. Ana at Arlington Highlands Mimi's makes your meal more enjoyable.
