My wife had cataract surgery on December 30, 2019. The surgery went fine although she did get some swelling afterwards. This required treatment of eye drops for about a month. Not all that unusual. My complaint is not with the procedure but with the follow up. I did not like the fact that every appointment was between 1 1/2- 2 hours long. After the initial prep work was done it seemed like it took forever to have your 5-10 minutes with the doctor. Even this was tolerable. My biggest disappointment was that during the follow up appointments my wife would try to explain that she was having problems seeing properly. We never got an adequate explanation of the problem. She was just told to get her new glasses. Well from January until today which is May 20 she has been afflicted with extreme anxiety and a feeling of dread. Unable to see properly, unable to drive, especially at night. She was downright depressed thinking her eyes were ruined forever. Well I finally convinced her to get a second opinion. We had her appointment today and as the doctor is taking the time to actually explain what was really going on I can see my wife relaxing as if the weight of the world was being lifted off her shoulders. So even though I’m sure doctor Ballon is a fine surgeon he could have certainly saved my wife an enormous amount of grief with a simple explanation that today took less than five minutes.

I had dropless surgery, late May, early June, to remove cataracts in both eyes. I now have intraocular lens implants and I love them!  I no longer have to wear glasses, even for reading and can see so well, it's amazing!  I am so happy with my vision!  My husband also had his eye surgery at  The Harman Eye Clinic and we both had the same surgeon, Dr. Natalia Bajenova.  The staff was great to work with and I felt so pampered the days of my surgeries.  If you are local, I highly recommend Dr. Natalia Bajenova and the The Harman Eye Clinic in Arlington, WA.   They are worth the drive!

My first time and experience at Harman Eye Clinic and I was really pleased!! From the reception staff to the assistants, that take you from room to room for all your eye pre-testing, before seeing Dr. Ballon. Everyone was quite pleasant and Dr. Ballon's bedside manner was absolutely impeccable. He was able to answer every single, solitary question I asked as it related to an upcoming surgery. I am really pleased with the professionalism of the whole team and the time taken to adequately explain and make sure I understood and knew what to expect before even leaving the office. A HUGE Thank You to Dr. Ballon and Team, for making my first visit such a positive one. "You only get one chance to make a good, first impression." "Lassez faire" patient services and unprofessionalism are NOT things you'll ever have to concern yourself with at this office!

First took my 97 year old mother for cataract surgery (both eyes) which was a wonderful experience. Then recommended them to a friend who also has a great experience. I just went in myself for cataract surgery (both eyes) and cannot say enough about staff and Dr Ballon. I am amazed at how well I can see now, can read the paper without glasses and only need readers for very fine print. Love it

December 2020 I had Lasic eye surgery under Dr. Bajenova, and during those two years I have had checkups to verify progress. So, today was an interesting shock when the assistant gave me a full checkup noting 20/20 vision, perfect eye movement and dilation to say “we can’t bill your insurance unless there is something wrong with your eyes.” Well, you’ve made my eyes perfectly, which is how they should be, so yeah, don’t bill my insurance just give me a final “good to go.” Then I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Dr. Oh (I’m not even sure how it was spelled because I couldn’t find her name listed anywhere). She was rude, brash, and seemed to wedge her way into my primary care physician’s position asking about my cholesterol, and blood pressure. And she seemed to make it verbally clear that I had dry eyes, and needed eye drops (which I do not). In the end I’ll say that I won’t be returning for any more follow up visits especially now that Dr. Bajenova is no longer there. And my two stars are for the office staff that were a delight.

Excellent experience. Finally got lasik about a year ago, experience was top-notch. My eye's were quite bad (like 40 - 60 seconds per eye!), but the whole process was very smooth, relaxing, and the staff were excellent. I have enjoyed 20/20 vision since the procedure, and dont know how I dealt with contacts for all those years.

I am so happy to be able to see without my glasses. I have been wearing glasses since 1 st grade. I was treated with the best care ever. This whole experience has totally made my life so much easier. I was really impressed with this Clinic. Eveyone is friendly and helpful and the clinic itself is so nicely designed and clean.

Had cataract surgery for one eye. Everything went well. Dr. Ballon was great, and the anesthesiologist took great pains to explain things to me. I thought doing the one eye would be fine, and assumed I didn't need to do the other eye because the cataract wasn't as bad. However, I found out differently. My new glasses just didn't make me see well enough because of the cataract on my other eye. I had to assume that once I have the other eye done (which is already scheduled) the next set of new glasses will work better.

Receptionists are awful, not engaging, knowledgeable! They are down right rude! They don't even know what dates/times they set up your appointment for, and are absolutely incompetent and nasty! They are just despicable, and should find another line of work because they have no customer service skills, and patients are paying their paychecks, they seem to forget that! Find another Clinic, that's what I had to do after wasting 2 months trying to get Cataract surgery done!

The staff here are polite, professional and friendly. They take great care to make sure you completely understand your care plan. I felt like they addressed all my questions and concerns and I am confident going forward that I will get the best care.
