We went to Cocora and had lunch here after the hike. Beautiful decor! We ordered Hawaiian trout and lemonade de coco. The best food I ever had. Trout was so fresh and beverage was so refreshing. Loved it! Highly recommended if you are visiting Cocora!!

We had the patacon con todo, the trucha (comes with a huge patacon) and we had the pollo apanado (not seen). The patacon con todo was excellent. You would think the flavors won't mesh but they do. FYI, the tomato sauce does NOT have cilantro (phew!). The touchable had lots of bones, the flavor was good but if you can't enjoy your fish if it has bones then don't do it. There's other yummy options on the menu. Try the limonada con coco! Excellent. A picture is not featured because we chugged it down way too quickly (not sorry about that at all). The service was great, just right. The decor was very fun and takes you into some vut of history. Look at your chair before you sit down and check out what the painting is about.

The food was kind of average. Not excellent but also not bad. We had a trout and beef. The beef was pretty fat and the trout a little too dry with a lot of bones but generally it was good. Otherwise no complaints really. The place has a nice interior and lots of space.

I went for lunch here. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back! I order Bandeja Paisita and it was delicious, but you can also get a trucha which is the topical plate in the beautiful town. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the house town atmosphere. I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business to others also try the passion fruit flan

Hervorragendes kolumbianischen Essen. Alle Speisen, die wir hatten waren wirklich super. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Preise sind fair! Das Ambiente ist schön und sehr angenehm. Absolut zu empfehlen! Hier hat alles gepasst!

Awesome food, great staff, unique decoration. Couldn't ask for more. In Salento is definitely one of the best, if not the best restaurants. 10/10, highly recommend and will definitely return.

Donde Laurita is an iconic restaurant in Salento. The town itself is already beautiful and has lots of good restaurants and cafes so the bar is high here. This restaurant specializes in trout and this is the typical dish of the area. They have many different styles so there is something for everyone. The service was top notch and the decor was beautiful. Laura, the owner who is very well known in the town apparently, frequently approaches the tables to make sure everything is fine. Highly recommended.

Very nice environment, the fish was okay, maybe i expected it to be more fried, but it was delicious never the less. I would recommend this place if you like trout in many different recipes, friendly staff, fast service and the vibe is really cool.

Very Dissapointing experience unfortunately. Firstly, the waiter loitered around our table until we picked what to have. Then after placing our order the food came out within less than 5 minutes and that is not an exagerattion, in fact it came out so fast that the waiter hadnt even delievered our drink order which was just a bottle of water! We ordered a grilled trout and a a pork chueleta, both delivered warm, certainly not hot. We also asked the waiter for a salsa, this never came... A real shame as the restaurant itself is quite quirky and could of been a nice experience, but unfortunately we felt rushed and felt uncomfortable with how quickly our food was delivered. Further more there is plenty of other places serving better food that happens to also be cheaper.

This place definitely feels like a tourist trap. The food is below standard. Dishes were either under cooked or over cooked. Whilst the food was served quickly it was almost too quick. I'd not know what to suggest. As the dishes our table had never really rocked the boat. Service is quick and the atmosphere is cosy. But it ends there I'm afraid.

A beautiful restaurant with great food and very friendly staff. They prepare the meals very fast without sacrificing quality. The prices are higher than other restaurants I visited in Jerico and Jardin but still reasonable. I ordered the Patacon con Todo and a fish cream soup, both were delicious. I would definitely go back there!!

Restaurant food is below average. We ordered typical dish with beans. The beans were poorly cooked with no herbs and aroma. Actually the food is combo of beans and several appetisers. so our ordered was effectively doubled without a notice. The only bright item in the menu was coconut lemonade for which I put one star more alone

After a day of hiking in cocora valley you need a place to replace lost calories. It is very nice restaurant with great food selections. I had pork schnitzel. It is a first time that I felt like I do need good teeth to chew thru the meat. We are so spoiled in Canada. It is great to feel local flavor.

If you visit salento, PLEASE have some diner at this restaurant, especially if you want to try their local dishes (fish or beans). We had the trout soup as well as chicken soup. Both were yummie. Don’t forget to try their lemonade (natural with sugar) .. we tried one glass and had another jar of lemonade afterwards ;) The interior is super cute and fun and so original. Have a look at the seats! They all have personalised paintings.

3 generations of Laura welcome you super gently in this nice restaurant. Quick and healthy local food. I recommend the chorizos con una buena Club Colombia ;)

Spacious and very nicely decorated restaurant with mainly local food on the menu. It seems they specialize in trout, but other choices are available. We had classic choice, bandeja paisa (large portion), which was the best so far we had in Colombia. Also, classic lemonade and lemonade with coco where the best we had. Prices reflect quality and size of portions.

Amazing place to go, very traditional plates, great in price and size that are loyal to the region flavors. Becarefull with the patacon since it might be an apperitizer but it's HUGE! The bandeja paisa is also super big and has an amazing flavor

At Donde Laurita restaurant, I had an outstanding dining experience. The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. The customer service was equally impressive, making my visit memorable and enjoyable.

A very nice local restaurant with a charming decor, great service and very good food. Delicious trout, especially in coconut milk and the best coconut lemonade in all of Colombia!

Very good food, but the service was top class, the owner always around asking if everything OK, that's the kind of service you should have everywhere you go. Value for money.

I went to this place and had the trucha gratinada - suggestion of the waiter. The trout is served covered in cheese and sauce - but the trout comes with some bones and skin! You don’t need to be a professional chef to know you can’t serve fish with bones if the fish is covered in sauce because you can’t see the bones properly, it’s actually dangerous! They also offered me a starter, 2 cold potatoes with some sauce. The entire meal was terrible.

Food portions are huge (and tasty). Do not order appetizer (their patacon can serve as the main dish itself) *and* a main dish if you don't know what you're doing :)) They also take cards. At the time being, they also were very compliant with the Covid regulations.

The timing is vital to understand the local food seasoning of any restaurant around the whole coffee axle. If you arrive late to the meal times, you will probably find something that is still left from the menu, but being the last spoon of the pot, it will be extremely salty. That was the case with the soup at this particular venue. The deco and the owner acknowledgement are very cozy.

Came here because of the review and it is exactly as people recommended. Their trouts are amazing. We loved the grilled trout with garlic sauce.

Cozy place with wonderful native decor, menu prices range from € 5 to € 12 per person, with hearty dishes accompanied by salad and something that I found spectacular, a portion of a completely smashed fried green banana. It is a restaurant for travelers with a good cost benefit. Highly recommended!! It does not have a private parking lot, so you must park in nearby public parking lots, it has free private bathrooms, they comply with acceptable biosafety protocols and they also receive cash in Colombian pesos, VISA and American Express credit cards, Master Card. My recommendation is the river trout, in all its presentations, and a good Colombian coffee, of course. I visited it 3 times, and I was completely satisfied. It does not have many options for vegans and / or vegetarians.

I don’t understand how a place like this has 4.6 is not even worth a star food was horrible we got ribs that came from the supermarket smoked and heated so dry I couldn’t eat it and my husband got pork chuleta meat was old and smelled he couldn’t eat it. Do yourself a favour and don’t eat here

The food was good, the staff cordial (even though they forgot part of my order). I tried local trucha with mushrooms and cheese, it was tasty but quite fatty because of cheese. On second thought, I should have just taken it grilled. The decor of the place is unique and nice.

Setting up for a festival in the park was greatest part of stop. Very expensive dish to only get a fish full of bones. They literally gutted, split in half, fried, & plated it. Had to ask for side dish of fried plantains. They were so thin & hard it was nearly too hard to eat. Suggest skipping this joint & eating across the street. Their food smelt better & probably tasted as much also.

The place looked really funky and nice! Inside it's like your grandma's attic, there's everything you could think of (old stuff) hanging on the walls, on the ceiling, everywhere! Plastic flowers, huge statue of Jesus etc... But the place seems cold, service was unfriendly, you could feel we were bothering them and the only thing they wanted to do was to go home... The food arrived literally 2min after we ordered it, so we had our doubts on the freshness... And our doubts were confirmed... The soup was cold, the fish was hard, old, and had been reheated in a microwave... The massive patacon was cold and super hard... After our quick dinner we decided to play a quick game of cards... Only to have the bill placed in front of us and asked how we were going to pay... It was just 8pm... So we left quickly never to return

Stick to the trucha and you’ll be fine. I wasn’t very hungry so went for the chicken soup and was sick for a week, yikes. Atmosphere really fun though! Quirky decorations and kind staff.

We got tired of empanaditas while on the road and stopped by on our way heading to Pereira. Portions are generous but m...
