The place was well maintained but I wouldn't recommend for a non malayali. The owner didn't provide good/ decent food. There was no decent restaurants near this place. As we visited the place during covid we had horrible time finding food. They have poor vegetarian options. They should have communicated to us about vegetarian option clearly. The place doesn't provide tranquil vibes due to proximity to the bridge. Not worth the cost !

It was a very great experience in Cheenvala Resort. We had the best of time for two days vacation. Benny Chettan was a wonderful host. He went for the medicine at night when one of us fell sick. Chechi and her staffs prepared some excellent dishes and the food was outstanding. Both his Sons were very warm and courteous. This was one of the memorable trip with our Friends and Family.

located bit interior but worth staying,Benny uncle and Nisha Aunty takes welcomes and care of guest so nicely.Good place to enjoy,if you come by own transport it will be helpful.

Quaint place like any home no 5 star comfort,no room service,no food catering except breakfast one item South Indian dish, Should upgrade itself with staff and service. Benny and wife very good human beings, very humble and do try to comply with requirements of guests but inaccessible to taxis etc and livin on Zomato food for 2 meal s is not holiday happy peoples. No refrigerator and kettle in rooms...l feel Benny needs to upgrade facilities. Rest it's on the sea but there is no beach

My brother took us to cheenavala , the host Mr.Benney uncle and his lovely wife will be a nicest host u will meet they surely know how to provide the best stay possible. Great location and food also the rooms are well maintained. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a family weekend. 👍🏽🥰

The place was very good for staycation the host both uncle and the aunty were helpful from the begining of the stay till the end everything was very organised.

We,six of us, stayed for four days.The hospitality given by Mr&Mrs.Benny was very much pleasing.Mr.Benny is very dynamic and his service was outstanding.The location is so comfortable to visit places like Fort Cochin,vaikom,chottanikkara,kumarakom and Allapy.Thank you Cheenevala.

Cheenavala Homestay is a cool, quiet, and refreshing place if you are looking for a waterfront homestay in Cochin. The hosts Benny & Nisha are down-to-earth people and respond to you as if you were known to them for years. The cool breeze tempts you to be outside even after midnight. The rooms are clean, neat and safe. There are ample car parking spaces. This homestay is pet friendly and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay there with your pet. You will listen to the fish-catching techniques and will have some real-life experience in catching fresh fish with your own hand. The place is excellent with mesmerizing ambiance for a small get-together or party. Overall, we enjoyed our stay to the core and looking forward to more in the coming days.

It’s a great place to stay.It was one of my best experience staying there. This place is very well maintained...Home cooked food was very tasty. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A peaceful spot for quick getaways from the city, it has spacious & stylish AC rooms- great for groups & couples. The wonderful hospitality of Benny chetan & family also makes you feel at home. The place offers a wonderful night ambience where you can sit by the side of the river in complete isolation. They will also cook fresh seafood on request.

A beautiful stay by the lake and the cherry on the literal christmas cake were the amazing hosts Benny cheta and Nisha chechi. They were super warm and included us in the Christmas celebrations. The food cooked by Nisha chechi is a must try. When you are there don't forget to say hello to their furry babies. We had a great and memorable stay at Cheenavala homestay.

Peaceful place to stay along with family. Clean and hygienic Host (Benny uncle) is really helpful Beautiful outdoor view. If required Hotels are accessible 45min drive to Alleppey and 15km from Fort Kochi Best stay if you want to cover places in kochi and Alleppey

The most amazing factor about this place is its scenic view from the rooms. The abient backyard made the night cherishable. Spacious rooms and very well maintained premises.
