After
visiting
Casa
Amarilla
nearby,
we
went
here
to
see
the
continuation
of
the
exhibition
we
saw
there.
Entry
was
free
and
the
building
consists
of
a
number
of
large
room
displaying
a
variety
of
paintings,
murals
and
sculptures,
both
traditional
and
modern.
The
gallery
has
a
pleasant
ambience
that
encourages
you
to
take
time
to
look
around.
I
found
the
works
displayed
more
interesting
and
accessible
for
a
casual
visitor
like
me,
than
I
did
when
I
visited
the
MIAC
(Castillo
San
José)
last
year.
Incidentally,
the
MIAC
is
also
hosting
part
of
this
same
exhibition
too.
Not
all
the
works
will
appeal
to
everyone,
but
I
think
most
visitors
will
find
plenty
they
will
enjoy.
The
gallery
has
an
upper
floor
accessed
via
an
attractive
wooden
staircase,
with
carvings
either
side.
I
think
there
was
also
a
lift
to
access
it,
but
I'm
not
certain
of
that.
There
are
also
public
toilets
available
on
both
floors.
We
spent
around
45
minutes
going
around
the
whole
place.
Definitely
worth
it
if
you
have
the
time.
