Very tough hike up (and you’ll be feeling the burn the following day) that you will need proper hiking shoes/boots for but it provides you with the BEST view of Caldera de Los Cuervos crater and Caldera Colorada the red one. Park at the car park for Caldera de Los Cuervos and cross the road to gain access. Again I stress this is a tough hike due to the incline and the gravel underfoot. But it’s WELL worth it. Best view I’ve seen all holiday so far.

Beautiful view from the top. Please only use the allowed paths to the top so every one can enjoy the view and not cause erosion of the volcano.

Fantastic route with stunning view! You can park on the other side of the road. Walking up the mountain takes about 30-45 minutes and can be steep. You definitely need closed shoes. However, there are multiple routs to take dependent how steep you want to go. Take a bottle of water with you and don’t forget to put on sunscreen before.

(Translated by Google) Magnificent point of view. We took the direct route and clearly it was not easy, at least for me 😅 Provide a small windbreaker for the arrival.

(Translated by Google) The view from the top is impressive.

(Translated by Google) Ascent in 30min for me, superb view, descent in less than 9min by a very fun almost straight path.

(Translated by Google) It is worth climbing this volcano because of the views from the top. Unfortunately, there is no impressive crater. Entrance on the left from the parking lot (free), good shoes are required due to the fine gravel. There are many paths and you can choose from time to time whether you want to climb steeply or gently, but longer.

We climbed this volcano at sunset. The parking lot is located opposite, across the street. The way up took us about half an hour (but it all depends on your conditions), the descent took about 15 minutes. The road is quite bad, because it is littered with small remains of the volcano and is constantly crumbling, it is unstable, but it does not require much effort, you just need to be careful and have good shoes. The volcano offers a very beautiful view and panorama of other volcanoes such as Volcano el cuervo and montana Colorada. I recommend for sunsets 4 stars because there are no signposts

👍 This is a museum not to be confused with the bus tour even though they are linked. We spent about an hour here before we went on the bus tour. Most of the exhibits are explained in Spanish,English and German. Of course there is a shop selling the normal tourist products. The museum has a small cinem...

👍👍 Such a friendly and passionate welcome, father and son took the time to generously sample a variety of their wines, from the dry, sweet, rosé, sur lie & matured wines, explaining a few facts about the specific grapes. I can only recommend, as from my week of sampling it‘s been the nicest and best p...
