This café its really well decorated and warm. The staff its also friendly.
What an amazing place. From the furniture of the dining room, to the friendly service. Delicious food and dessert. Bit pricey but worth it.
Lovely interior but can get really busy during cafe und kuchen time. Their seasonal wild berry kuchen is delicious.
Best cake of my 2 week trip in Bavaria. We had 3 cakes, all amazing. Not to mention how beautiful the town of Landshut is today.
Exceptional patisserie on the main street of the Landshut old City. Sitting outdoors in the sun surrounded by the colorful buildings makes it even better! Gorgeous selection of cakes to try. The cappuccino with whipped cream (unsweetened) was the best to have with our delicious cakes.
The cakes are delicious and generous (ranging from the all-chocolate Sachertorte to the Apfelstrudel), and the place itself is really nice for a good price/quality. But the waiting time is just unacceptable. I had to wait 25 minutes before I could even order a coffee and a slice of cake. I finished eating in about 15 minutes, and then it took another 20 minutes before I was finally able to pay. I believe there’s a serious issue with the team’s coordination & attention to clients. Having just one person in charge of the entire terrace is simply not enough. I really hope service improves in the future, because I’d love to come back and try more cakes — but not if it means waiting 40 minutes just to order and pay.
Have been visiting Landshut for many years and always look forward to visiting Cafe Belstner. This year we felt that standards were not as good as before. Seating area was partially closed and staff very stressed. Still a nice experience just not perfect.
Strange. First they reserve cosy seats and no one shows up - I was there for an hour. The old disgusting strategy to attract people in. You can do better! Nice cakes but all felt mechanical. You can go to Neon, 70 meters away, much better experience!…..and Cafe Belstner responded to this review in an arrogant manner! wow, yes, it is optional to go to your Cafe, that’s why I suggested in my original first review that people go to Neon instead where they can get better service - and attitude!
Cafe has nice atmosphere with beautiful classical interiors. The cakes are delicious and in big slices. We had the Haustorte and Schoko-Trüffel-cake. The price of the beverages is a bit overpriced, though. Service is average, neither bad nor good, as you could expect from standard German service. I asked for cake recommendation, and the lady just gave me a quick short lecture that it depends totally on personal preferences and tastes, and there’re many varieties available I could choose from at the counter. She’s not wrong, but it just made me felt off. I would go back, but perhaps only for take-away.
Pretzel was hard, burnt, and cold. Had the quality of stale scraps from the bottom of the batch. Coffee and eggs were, however, decent, though the toast was cold as well. It was a miracle that had not been burnt as well. Customer service was awful. The waitress was rude because we could not speak much German, and she ignored our table for 10 minutes before taking our order. They were not busy. Would not recommend if you are not fluent in German.
The cake was so sugary and the chai was just milk. Apart from all that the worse thing was the attitude of the waiter. She was definitely not a kind person. I will never visit there
My partner and I went to have some cake and tea. We were able to order relatively quickly and after a decent wait the tea arrived. We never got the cake, it seems that part was just left out. The oldest thing was that after about five minutes of the tea arriving we were asked to pay and wished good bye. Bizarre experience.
